Hello! My wheel on the ground is not working since I cannot turn at all. Weard thing is that my rudder is workin. Aircraft effected are those that were bought, namely Lear 36a and freeware C47 (the awesome one ofc!). No issues with default aircraft. This issue affects FSX as well.

I noticed yesterday when slowing the Aerosoft A319 down to a landing speed of 123 knots that the perception of speed was INCREDIBLY slow. It was almost as the landing was slow-motion. I am using a zoom factor of around 0.60 and a ultra-wide screen (21:9). Are there any ways of increasing the perception of speed without altering the zoom?

I am about to upgrade to 3.4 from 3.3. do I just run the installer or am I going to need to reload all the addons? Thanks in advance. Bill W

Me and a friend have been trying to setup a multiplayer session with P3D v3, where I start up a host session and my friend tries to join via IP, but he keeps getting 'unable to connect' messages. Following the manual, I setup a multiplayer session (tried shared cockpit with PMDG737, as well as normal with each our own aircraft). All setting are the same as mentioned in the manual. We both turned off our firewall, to make sure no errors there could be bothering us. I forwarded ports 6112-6122 on my router. My friend uses direct connect via my global IP address (not LAN). PD3 and FSX put a heavy load on the first logical core assigned to the sim, most often the first core reaches 100% utilization creating a bottleneck that affects frame-rates, even though the CPU as a whole might be running at less than 50%. You can improve your frame-rates by reassigning any addons that run outside P3D from logical core one. On JFK airport I gained 10FPS. Below is a batch file that will remove Active Sky Next and Ultimate traffic 2 from core 1. For it to work you have to first remove the UT2Services.exe from the exe.xml. (Important). I have never had any real issues with P3D until recently... First, EZDOK seemed to stop working, and along with it, GSX. When I say it stopped working, I was trying to load a flight in the PMDG 77W at EGLL and although EZdok opened and seemed to be there, I press the middle mouse button, my cursor goes but I can't move the camera. The same with the hotkeys to change view. I purchased chase plane a couple of days ago too, hoping to replace EZdok but I am having exactly the same issue with it! Hi, I am having a hard time setting up external aircraft views with EZdok, or EZCA. If I open the panel, I can create virtual cockpit views and assign them to joystick buttons, but if I press either external or world cameras in the config panel, it just resets after pressing "add camera" and "OK". Anyone with EZdok expertise who can weigh in?

I'm now on p3d 3.4.9 + flyinsidefsx with the oculus rift and loving life.. but some things I have yet to figure out include a solid ATC program that will work well, even in VR mode and not chop fps.. In the past I've tried VoxATC.. i couldnt always get it to work and i've read some say on here that it lowers fps in VR (unsure?).. perhaps a newer version works better.. The biggest issue with VR is that keyboard commands and input are a pain, reaching for keys blindly or trying to peep through the nose hole area, so something with voice activation would have been better, though i'm sure there are workarounds i've yet to figure out. I recently purchased the Quality Wings Ultimate 146 which Is supposed to be compatible with FSX and P3d. The problem I'm having along with several others is that I can't get the flaps to work. I've tried assigning the flap control with both the P3d controls setting and through FSUIPC. Neither works. Of course I've already gone to the Quality Wings support website but they don't seem to be interested in helping because they are tied up with another new project. I'm running P3d 3.4.9 which is probably the problem since others running previous versions don't see this. Does anyone have an idea as to what I can do to get this thing to work? can anyone tell me once I configure Germany North how to save the config file as I see no save button and it keeps telling me not configured Could someone also explain to. me the 2 insertion points and where the orange and blue ones sit

I was wondering if the Scenery Index order should be sequential with no missing numbers? My file is in sequential order but there are many gaps with missing .dat files like jumping from Filelist00125.dat to Filelist00181.dat etc. Is it useful or recommended to delete the SceneryIndexes and let them rebuild? I do this with the Shaders folder when appropriate but have never done it to the SceneryIndexes folder. I have had blurries issues at times and was looking into this as a potential improvement. Any harm in doing it? Joe

Hello all, I have not used my sim for about a week. My computer was unplugged and today when I loaded P3D PMDG 737 was the default aircraft. Usually I have to manually select vehicles and choose PMDG 737. I didn't think much of it but when the aircraft loaded the autopilot was engaged, heading and altitude were still set in the mcp from my previous flight. The NAV frequency was also the same from my pervious flight. I switched to a default aircraft and then restarted P3D. This time PMDG 737 was again the default aircraft and I tried to start at KMCO active runway and instead it loading the aircraft approximately30 miles from my pervious destination (one week ago…

I recently installed new shaders and textures to p3d v3 and i now have a black sky and no aircraft textures. I reinstalled p3d and uninstalled everything it still doesnt work. I need help from anyone? Thanks!

I don't know why, maybe after installing some new scenery, my water is now all blurry. Things I've already tried without sucess: 1) Restore Prepar3D.cfg 2) All my texture setting and water settings are the same as when it was working 3) Rebuild shaders 4) Replace with REX Water textures 5) Restore REX default textures Any more guesses?

I'm using Jim Vile's excellent FSX KMSP afcad but there are no taxiways (the lines are there but the surfaces are gone) Anyone have a decent KMSP scenery in P3D? Yes I know FB is doing KMSP.

About 95%+ of my flying is virtual airline flying in jets. With the recent ORBX sale, I was thinkin of picking up a few regions (I already use Base, OpenLC, and UT USA) but I wasn't sure it would be worth it. Their airports are nice, but the ones I'm interested in require the regions so starting with ORBX is quite an expensive proposition especially since I already have other major airports that I'm interested in before the smaller ORBX ones. I've already shelled out quite a bit in computer upgrades and recent scenery sales so I'm definitely slowing down for the near future. But, it's hard to resist some of these sales. Thoughts?

Hi Togehter, after the update of my Central to 3.0.2.2 my the airport elevation correction feature does not longer work. it doesent recoginize FSX:SE as Simulaotor ? And i also found out that the paths in the ORBX\Simulators fsxse.c3json are all wrong. The are pointing to a fsx_se folder and a fsx_se.config where FSX:SE is installed in the FSX folder. Did i something wrong ? Or is there a fix avaible ? brgds Chris

I had a GTX 1050 Ti Mini that I got on Amazon for less than $130 and I can get roughly 50fps in 1440p with high settings, but was suprised when I spent $700 on a upgrade to GTX 1080 that it only went to 60fps... I know that FSX is CPU bound, (I have 4790k OC'd) but isn't P3D GPU scalable??!

Hi, I read a lot of AI Traffic and P3D. I came to the conclusion that I want to do my own AI Traffic. First start I installed the WOAI packages. But they dont shown up insim. I know its because of fs09 files. I made a test cnverting with AI Flight planner of the LH flightplans and loaded a flight in EDDM. Nothing but the default AI were shown. Also converted a 744 Model to the fsx format but this also doesnt solve anything. Is there any guide of how to create your own AI? I just need an example with one airline. What do you need to attend at the aircraft model and so on. Hope anyone can help me or can give me a kind of a tutorial. Best regards Friedo

Hi ... wondering if anyone else finding VC view seriously wierd in 3.4 ... sometimes a flight loads in 2D panel as opposed to default VC ... other times the camera is located under the plane .... as for having Opusfsi set views .... forget it .... have raised the issue with Stephen at Opus and he sure it's not an Opus problem .... have tried deleting camera cfg but no help there .... appreciate any assistance .....
