The biggest reason to purchase a registered FUSIPC in FSX was the ground friction LUA plug in.(IMO.) Since I am finding it pretty sticky in P3DV4 as well I was wondering if anyone has a registered version for P3D. If so does it still have that plug in?

Hello, I'm using P3D V3 / V4 with GSX.But today I installed Ivap and I added some lines to the ''dll.xml and simobjects.cfg'' as the installation reqiuers.But the problem is after the Ivap installation GSX is not working any more after the installation...? It says ''Some changes has noticed dll.xml will be set to default'' Does anyone knows the solution about this problem ? Repeated right engine failure on Realair TDV2 in P3DV4 No matter how careful I am I can't stop losing my right engine with no warning at about 1500ft. It happened with my original P3DV4. Even if I set it to forgiving and no random engine failures. I uninstalled and the installed Sean's new installer. Excited! But it still happened! Following proper start procedure. Warmed up. Set revs at 100% (and later less than 100%) so when I set throttle halfway it settles (after a few minutes) at 2200 (or 2150). Then I increase throttle to only 1000 well below limits. Monitoring all settings and no warnings. Takes off nicely and climbs - then BANG…

I was wondering if you can install the GTN750 (or 650 for that matter) unit from flight1 into aircrafts other than the ones that have compatability provided from the airplane developer? ie. I can put the 650 unit into pmdg dc6 and in C172 from A2A, but what about the dc3 from Manfred Jahn? I tried installing it into the dc3, but got only a 2d popup working. Is it possible to install it into the virtual cockpit itself?

This Add-On is a very expensive one and it would be nice if someone could give some pros and cons for and against buying the bus. Many people say that the cockpit textures of the Airbus from FSlabs aren´t that nice but I think it has stunning sounds and many things I would not get if I am flying with the Aerosoft Airbus, which I am currently doing. Just wanted to know how they work together and did the following. Run SF3D (default settings, weather engine active). Open P3Dv4.1 and loaded RA Piston Duke @ EDDM (9 am, local time) and saved the flight situation. TakeOff at RW 08L and climbed until 8000 then left turn dir 120 ° climbing until 12500 ft. Four hours later (local time 1 pm), I started ASP4/ASCA and closed ASCA manually. ASP4 is set to historical weather (force to sim time). Then I started REX SF3D and disabled its weather engine. When Drzewiecki Design NYC X first came along, I purchased it for FSX but I always ended up in CTD. I am planning to move to P3D v4, and I am wondering if that software works in V4, and if there are any issues I should know about before I invest in it for a second time. Hi All I have a rig with a i5 3570K overclocked to 4.5GGz,GeForce GTX 970 4GB Graphics Card and 16 GB DDR3L 1866 UDIMM Memory This runs AS and SkyForce very well -except if I use Active Weather setting in AS I get about a 5-8 minute flight -it all looks terrific-and P3D stops! Frame rates are about 50+ Do I have to resign myself to not using Active Weather setting in AS , buy a better rig or is there anything else I could try? xxd09

They just came out with a new updated version and it says to uninstall the previous version, however, I don't see how to do it. Any help would be appreciated

Hi guys I presently use p3d v3.4 and would prefer to wait on upgrading to v4 a bit longer. I have the PMDG 777 and would also like to get the 747. Are both products for version 3 and 4 different products, so would I have to pay the full price again when buying them for v4? Thanks in advance

Hi all i am using GSX ground services by fsdt in P3dv4 when I start a scenario I use a Dash and pick the aircraft to be at Gate 8 at EGNM by uk2000 the Dash is parking brake on and engines off. When I ask for GSX the menu is asking if I want to park at parking or a gate. I can’t seem to get the pushback menu. even if I choose gate 8 from the menu that does appear, it says a Marshall is on his way but he never arrives. when first going into the scenario I want the menu for loading, fuelling and pushback. anyone have any ideas thanks in advance

I’ve flown numerous aircraft ranging from 3,000 to 650,000 lbs but I can’t accurately taxi anything in P3D! I overcontrol all the time. I’m using CHProducts pro rudders. I watch videos and the folks making them do an excellent job taxiing! How is it done? Special software, extra servos or with rudder pedals and special calibration? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m an old dog but I’m bound to be able to learn this trick! Many thanks, Don

Good afternoon I have trying to get a freeware A330 with FMC working in P3D4.1 and had no louck whatsoever. I am unable to install the VasFMC2.1 gauges into the vc panel that comes with tom ruth aircraft or it does not seem to work correctly, EasyFMC cannot be use (please correct if this is uncorrect) with SIDs and STARs. So there I am stucked and unable to do IFR flights. PLease help. Thanks

I am having a weird issue in P3D V3 with PMDG aircraft (as far as I can tell), let me explain what is happening. The other day, I flew a flight from VHHH to KSFO in the PMDG 777-300. Take off and cruise went perfect, no issues at all. I came in on the approach, it was a nice clear day in sfo, very good and stable approach. at between 50-100ft AGL, all of a sudden it was like I hit the ground in the air, the plane almost nosed over and settled back down on the rear wheels and the plane slammed into the actual ground, all sorts of alarms and stuff were going off (I'm also not new to the 777, I've flown it plenty of times with no issues landing). During testing setting the TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=10 flag, with a PMDG 747 over ORBX New Zealand, I got OOM on loadout. Now this is not a VAS OOM, but literally, it hit a RAM limit. Not sure if VRAM or system RAM, I have 16GB system RAM and 8GB VRAM, I saw P3D using just under 12GB system RAM, and 7.4GB VRAM, just before P3D gave me the OOM message. Now I was just testing to see how far I could push it, but would appreciate from LM if I upped my system RAM to 32GB, if P3D would actually scale well and use additional RAM or not. Hi All, does anybody know how to disable, or change the hard winter textures showing during the months of January and February in the UK, regardless of the weather. I have found that with both the default and ORBX textures, if you select the simulator time, it presents the UK covered in snow, regardless of the realtime weather??? I am thinking of saving the winter texture plates in a separate folder for manual input when it is snowing, but to copy the fall textures and rename a set ‘winter’ and use these. Would that work, or is there an easier work around? Grateful for any advice. Cheers, Dave

can someone explain why does AS show partly cloudy conditions and then you get overcast conditions? This happens numerous times, maybe a setting in SKF?

P3Dv4.1 has commenced to start up without me actually executing the startup. I normally start it from SIM starter, but of late it had commenced to start up on its own when I log into my computer. It is not in the list of startup programs on my Task manager. The last alteration I made to P3D was adding the Pilots FSG2018FTX program, other than that I've made no changes, other than GeForce Drivers? Anyone have any ideas? Brian (BJ from OZ)

Just curious, how much of a toll does MSAA have on your gpu? I’ve switched from the highest to the lowest and visually I don’t really notice anything so I was curious if there is a big difference on how taxing that is on my gpu. Thanks!

I have no issues at the airport including Lake Hood, but the elevations at the surrounding airports is off. On final, I see grass when I land on the grass I continue down on the real runway. PANC is located at the top of the library, and I'm using it with ORBX Global, Vector, and Southern Alaska. This is in PREPARED v4.
