Hi all! I have recently purchased flightbeam’s KSFO HD and am having trouble with the SODE jetway function. I went to the site downloaded the installer and started the install. But this is where the problem is, a message pops up saying that my computer is not able to run this thing needed for the install. This is destroying me because I also have gsx 2 and can’t use the jetways. Please help and thank you! Simon S.

Hello Gents, In P3D V4 is it possible to get the 2D MCP pop-up in VC? It is possible in FSX, but I don't know how to do it in P3D, there's no "instrument panel" menu drop-down. /Thanx.

Hi all, On September 30 there was an announcement here on Avsim "Product Announcements & Press Releases" for the new amazing looking Vertx DA62 aircraft, expected to be released the ''next few weeks''. However as there is not any dedicated forum or website of Vertx, I would like to ask here. As we are now over a month of the announcement does anyone know where we can seek for more news about the latest developments? Maybe beta testers can share anything if allowed? Hi, I cannot seem to get the ET part of the clock in my PMDG 737NGX to work. When I press the ET button (lower right), the display shows a 4-digit digital display (as one would expect), with "RUN" displayed above the ET Button. But, the display does not count, just sits at 00:00 forever. Not a show-stopper, but would be nice if I could get it to work. Apologies if I missed a post about this, but could not find any posts through a search here and in Google which fixes it for me. Perhaps I have a corrupt file?

Hi all, I have a gpu question. I am flying on P3dv4 and have been almost since it came out. Currently, I am running an i7 4790k running at stock speeds with the turbo on (4.4 Ghz) and it is paired with a GTX 960. For the most part, this combo does well. However, for a while, I have been thinking about upgrading my graphics card. Two questions... 1) What do you think is the best graphics card to pair with an i7 4790k on p3dv4? 1060? 1070? 1080? 2) With that/those graphics cards, how much of a performance (frames/smoothness) increase would there be? In Prepar3D 4.3 i was experiencing the issue about autogen buildings loading very slowly: flying at low altitude at a reasonable speed of 300 and more knots, the more i was going forward, the less autogen was loading, resulting that after some miles P3D cannot load no more autogen in the very front of the plane. Then i run into a topic here where a user was suggesting to use the Target Frame Rate limiter. And it actually worked. The thing is that i really do not understand how it works, and i would like to discuss this with the community. First of all i want to say that i tried to make this post on the p3d forums but after searching for some button and searching the internet i couldnt find anyway to make a new post. I dont know if its just me not being able to find it but whatever. So basically i downloaded a freeware scenery for the sim. I put it in the 'addon scenery' folder that i had made and when i was going to start the sim to put the scenery in the library it would start and the icon in the button of the toolbar wouldnt show up (though the loading screen came up and in the task manager). Hi, When I tried to install my copy of the fslabs a320, I got this error. I ran it with admin rights but no go. It is the correct version for my sim, P3DV4.3. The reason I am not contacting fslabs support, is I am having trouble connecting to their site, which I am working on. Thanks! James

Hi, A tip for effect tweakers and p3d designers. Wonder if you have ever put your whole head stuck in an airplane window at cruise Altitude staring at the ocean below. Its not a plain blue. It jas thousands of white lines depicting waves that are braking and spreading foam, although they look as frozen lines, they dont move at all as perceived at cruise alt. Even coastal waves look frozen. They are moving but at such low speed that from the high distance they seem frozen. They actually disappear if your eyes can track them but in its place or very next to it another wave brakes thus giving the impression of a permanent static white line. Ive s…

Brief background (you can skip it really ;))...my daughter was born in 2010 and one of the things I did while she was a baby was to build a Cessna 172 simpit. She began flying with Daddy every day. Hello all, I think this one may be for Poppet but if ANYBODY can help me I would really appreciate it. I have just done a complete reinstall and have loaded all my ORBX sceneries. ... run and tested ok with default aircraft. I then downloaded a WMKK scenery and this has locked up P3D totally. ie the loading does not progress past the original P3D logo and I have to turn off the computer manually and reboot. I have therefore concluded that the problem is the WMKK scenery. That was installed via P3D loaded ... selected scenery .... add scenery ... go to the folder containing WMKK ... check it has a scenery and texture folder ... click and install. I then exit P3D…

Hi I am just wondering if anyone else has an issue I seem to of found on V4.3 with grass runways. I have two installs on developer licence, one with add-ons and the second on modelling computer that is kept as default. In images below I use the F22 on grass runway as the HUD shows the issue. Props have same problem. Note, I found on flying computer (with add-ons) many grass airports were OK, until I disabled Orbx vector_cvx folder. Orbx areas seemed to help clear the issue somehow, but in far flung regions like mongolia, it is still present with orbx active. Hi all, Since acquiring P3D I have been smooching around USA in my Real-air Duke and thoroughly enjoying the P3D experience. All my flights use an IFR flight plan. However, I have noticed that in many (but not all) of the of the P3D smaller airports that I have visited an IFR approach is neither given or listed in the “Approach Options” page of the Tower dialogue. This can be a real PITA for example I was flying in the northern states at night, my destination was KHLN. Weather visibility was down to 900' AGL. The tower commanded my descent at 4,000 feet AGL. Hi all, I like VOR and NDB navigation but not to "die stupid" as we say in french, I want to learn about GPS. I'll get the Vertex Diamond DA62 (Sean Moloney) when it is released so I will be in position to learn the latest avionics with the G1000 PFD/GPS/Flight Planner... that will equip the plane by default if I understand correctly. For the time being, I'm looking for a GPS for my A2A V35 and possibly other small G/A aircrafts in the future. I made a choice: it will be a Reality XP. During last six months (yes, SIX months) i've been troubleshooting P3D v4.3 because of crashes happening suddenly and not expected. Test flights done: 623 tests What happens: after a period range of 45 to 90 minutes, P3D crash to desktop, 95% with no event log, 5% with some DLL failures, but they are not the point (keep on reading). Hello all, I have such a weird problem with my fresh P3Dv4 install that it's been too hard to even explain, so I made a video about it. I hope you guys have ideas as to how to fix it, since I'm stumped.

NO MORE TWEAKING! How does that sound? With P3d v4, and all P3d's before, there is NO MORE TWEAKING. You don't use Nvidia Inspector, you don't use bufferpools, you don't use or NEED anything. The 64 bit program runs flawlessly and I've never tweaked a thing. Actually, it's discouraged! I was an FSXer for many years. After the switch about 2 years ago, I've experienced ZERO OOM's and I've never had to tweak anything. The scenery is crystal clear as long as the eye can see, and the smoothness....ah, the smoothness, it's unbelievable, even in dense airports. Flight Simulator was meant to run on 64 bits...not 32. I just can't imagine spending a hard earned dim…

Hey, I would like to make specifically an Iberia and Air Nostrum ai traffic pack. I tried WOAI, but it only had 2 A340-600s at the terminal when in real life there should be like 10 or so. Same with the non-existent A330. Also Air Nostrum does not exist, so I would like to recreate it. Any help is appreciated James.
