Hi all! I am intent on buying the FSLabs A320 for p3dv4 but am wondering if it will be good for performance. My system is an Alienware aurora R5 (no 3rd party components). I do not have any ORBX products installed and run all PMDG aircraft with 20-35 frames on approach. Will the FSLabs be a good working aircraft performance wise on my system I will easily turn down the settings for better FPS. P.S. already sold on the A320 as a product, just wondering about performance. Another quick thing I fly on vatsim almost every flight but am connected to wifi wirelessly would it boost my frames if I wired my connection? Thank you so much! Simon S.

The 748 is a wonderful aircraft, but personally I don't like the panel lighting that dates back to the NG though it is a lot better than the NG its still not state of the art. So am learning to make my own with Spotlights. I would like any feedback to add to, or make what you see better. Please feel free to contribute to make this work better. Hi fellow simmers, I have been out of the sim world for a while now (15+years). I was an FSX fanatic back in the day with all add-ons imaginable on a machine that always gave me trouble with FPS, one of the reasons I guess I left the sim world and many others 🙂 . However, I have to admit the since watching countless youtube videos and reviews on P3D it has got my juices flowing again and the potential P3D has in the future I can't wait to take a PDMG 747 to the skies again. In another Forum info was given that FFTF entry in cfg is not used if inside P3d 4.3 Frames are set to unlimited. I am wondering because especially FFTF dynamic is given one Scenario where FPS are set to unlimited but application is working. Any Infos from yourside?

Hi, Can anyone help with this issue? I'm using multiple monitors with P3D. One main monitor has the P3D running on it and others have addons running in them i.e Fs Flight control, Vatsim, etc. When im working in one of those monitors then they become the "Active" screen and if i then press a key command for then main P3D flight sim it doesn't work as that, at that time, is not the "Active" screen. I have to first move the mouse over to the P3D monitor and click on there. This is a faff on! So my Question is, is there anyway of assigning a button command using FSUIPC to revert back to P3D as the "Active" monitor or is there any other work around? Many thanks…

I'm having an issue where my control layout is reverting to some default layout every time I start the sim, or load a new plane. I've tried everything I can find to solve this issue, as far as I can tell it's not a permissions issue, it's not a corrupted controls xml issue, I have no idea. I've tried changing control_layout=standard in the P3D config to =null, I've tried changing the standard.xmlx to the control layout I want, none of this has worked. P3D will rewrite the config back to =standard and standard.xmlx will get rewritted back to this default layout. I cannot fathom where this control layout is coming from, I've tried looking for any standard layout …

Hello, i have an idea: a platform in where you can rent an airport. For example, if i want to go from Barcelona to Venice, i rent those airports for the time of the flight (a Little bit more) for example: 3 hours. That would mean, 3 euros. Like this, you dont have to buy an airport that maybe you Will not use never more. Like this, every time i want to go to venice, i Will pay3 euros. I would have to go 10 times to venice to reach the Price of it. Some people may not want to pay, but some people like me:yes!.

I recently installed Tomatoshade, along with the R&D preset, and I'm trying to install the reflection profiles for the PMDG 737. On the -700 variant, the reflections show up perfectly fine, but on the -800, if I try to install the preset, there are no reflections at all, even with Dynamic Reflections on in the P3D settings. If I restore the original reflection settings, the reflections become enhanced, and they're extremely reflective. If anyone has a solution to this, I would appreciate it, as I've spent nearly the entire day trying to fix this to no avail.

I migrated to P3D v3.1 few days ago, and I wanted to test full setup with default airports + NGX + MyTraffic. In FSX I was using versions from Ray Smith mostly, with updated afcads, taxiways, added objects, etc. So I created Addon Scenery folder inside P3D folder, copied bgl for LSZH into Addon Scenery/scenery, just like I do for all airports in FSX. Next step is to add Addon Scenery to scenery library: After that I've got this: Did I miss something? I never had this problem of missing or invisible taxiways in FSX. Hi all! Just switched from FSX to P3D v4 and I have a problem. When in-flight the sim doesn't seem to bother to load in the ground textures at all. It loads the textures at and around the airport where you spawn (within the LOD_RADIUS) but not outside of that. They have the worst resolution there probably is, and I know the blurries problem but my ground textures won't even load when paused! I tried adding FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION which did load up the airport textures faster, but the ground textures outside of that remain the same. Using ORBX Global, OpenLC EU and Vector.

Tried to install it but got weird texture bleeds throughs of the Default airport.

I am thinking about improving my computer hardware to improve performance of P3Dv4 so that I can max out graphics, especially with payware airplanes and scenery. I already have a fairly high spec. The question is do I upgrade some components like the GPU (RTX2070) or CPU (latest i7) or both, or do I get a new system designed for flight simulation?? Hi there! For the past month, about 10-20 minutes into loading in my sim, my vpilot will say there was a simulator lockup. Some of my planes' flight controls stop working, but also, I cannot switch view categories from the cockpit to the outside on Chaseplane without doing it manually. This has caused me to bin almost all of my flights.

Hi, Was up in the A2A Bonanza this afternoon exploring recently installed ORBX FTX KHAF (Half Moon Bay Airport) when I thought I would pop over to KSFO to see whether there were any significant performance issues while flying this superb a/c. I tend to stay away from KSFO as frame rates usually plumit to the low twenties/high teens. Hi, I am considering to get OrbX KSBA Santa Barbara. The advertisement says: For the best experience, FTX Southern California should be purchased and installed prior to using this airport. I have FTX Global + LC + Vector but I don't have NA Southern California. I would like to stress that I plan to do some local flights only within the KSBA Santa Barbara scenery flight zone. In that conditions, is there an interest to buy NA Southern California?

Hello - I am at a complete loss here. I just did a complete resintall of P3dV4 and cannot get past the splash screen. The little wheel just keeps turning but never ends. I did watch a video where you remove a couple of folders and and deleted generated scenery, but that didn't work either. I have no idea how to proceed here. Any help would be appreciated.
