Hi fellow simmers, After an absence I moved from FSX to P3Dv4.3 I'm lucky to make my come back on version 4.3 that I'm quite happy with. After installing and setting a few essentials addons I enjoy... flying the sim without tweaking, etc., well you know... The sim is 64 bit, runs smooth on my PC. So I don't have more expectations regarding the sim itself. I want to enjoy 4.3 quite a while even if a new version is released. I fear indeed to have to make an update (even if it should not be difficult I believe?). I also fear addons not being compatible and so on... How about you? Hello, I'm thinking of buying a new computer and I'd be delighted to hear your opinions. Budget needs to be kept "wife-friendly" which in my case means USD 900 (it's actually 1150 but here in Europe electronics is more expensive than in the USA so 850-900 is a better baseline). Further upgrades like more RAM or another HDD are planned. My typical mission is flying around ORBX SAK + Misty Moorings scenery or DCS Gazelle (low and slow flying helicopter) - these are the missions I would like to optimize for. Hello guys, i "suffer" from the loss of mentined lights under certain camera view angles. I can 100% reproduce the issue on e.g. default EGKK (Gatwick) or even with the free scenery of Gatwick offered from UK2000! The loss of lights happens only if the camera (or ACFT itself) faces an angle between 270 and 360 degrees and I can reproduce it on the ground as follows: On default scenery: place the ACFT on STAND 130 (the plane faces S) and look with the camera in an external view towards the N or slightly toward NW. Moving your view up and down I loose the ground reflection of all the lights: e.g Nav lights. Looking from another angle e.g. from the tail, …

I´ve seen other topics about this, however everyone suggest the same solution. I dont´t know how to reinstall Open Lc from ORBX. If someone could help me I would be eternally grateful. Note: I´ve already deleted shaders and the problem decreased significantly, but it persists. I have seen a few topics of upcoming events from time to time and now that I feel ready, I would like to give it a try, So, again, anywhere where I can find a calendar of such events?

Hey, today I had a flight to Valencia, and during landing, I realise that another scenery or something has covered the airport. All the secondary buildings of the scenery seem to be loading, but nothing on the actual airport. When I spawn directly at the airport, everything is fine. It happens both during day and night. Does anybody have a solution? I have P3D v4 and uses, ENVTX, ORBX (Base, Europe and Vector) and add-ons sceneries. I have installed ORBX Global and Vector and whitout them the problem still occurs but strangely only in the UK. I just don't want to reinstall the simulator just for that

Hi I'm looking for a bit of advice about P3D special effects, recently upgraded pc to i7 with 1070 I have a bit more headroom to play with additional eye candy, I'm using tomato shade without reflection at the moment but what I notice after I run pmdg 737 yesterday at night overhead panel didn't have any back light only the letters illuminated, now I'm not sure if this is down to p3d special effect been enable or my tomato shade preset, but I know I didn't have that on my last pc system looks nice because once you start getting some light in to cabin you can start to see the panel texture. Are there any sailplanes compatible with PREPARED v4?

Guys I just purchased (Antarctica) this and I want to do a flight from FACT to NZIR. Does anybody know a source for actual waypoints or a source for some route planning. I tried SimBrief and tried to do a route with Aivlasoft but doesn't recognize NZIR or any of the US air fields. Any help would be appreciated. *lol. Spelling faux-pas noted.

Hello, I have noticed for a while now that at night time when I am flying over a body of water I have a ball of light that is reflecting over almost as if it was the sun. I am currently doing a flight and I don't see a source of light for this to occur (Sun nor moon). I was wondering if anyone has this and or if you do, what do I need to turn off in my sim to get this removed? I have Envtext + Envshade installed. My guess is that it must be something in the lighting settings. I will provide screenshot and settings below! Thanks!

Using Pro-ATC/X with the F1/Coolsky DC-9 Classic. After setting the correct clearance delivery (as indicated from the ATIS message) on the COMM1 radio, I'm not able to communicate and get the ATC Clearance. Maybe I'm missing something regarding the radios setup on the DC-9? Certain switch?. In all the rest of the aircraft fleet I don't have any issues. Any hints from a DC-9 or Pro-ATC/X expert?. I have presets for invida inspector set. It seems every couple of new flights I have to reset them in order for them to work with P3D v4.3. Any way to set them so they don't change from my initial settings? Thanks

Hi Everyone Based in Australia and a lover of PMDG B737 and B777 I am very excited to see Imaginesim's WSSS almost ready for release. I am wondering what other quality major Asian destinations are available out there for P3D4 It has been killing me holding off for a native P3D VHHH (I know about VHHX from FT but not into an airport that doesn't exist anymore). Just not sure I want patched versions of from Taxi 2 gate as I hear they have a few issues. and don't think there is a P3D compatible RJAA yet!! seems that it gives a virus warning now in multiple AVs and online scanners. Chrome doesn't even let one download anymore. As a Developer im aware of false flag warnings, still this one is a bit weird. Why does a tool, where there is not even an installer, that only modifies a few files in a folder has even the ability to be false flagged if its not reason. What process or signature could be used in such a tool? I had TS installed already before (so it has to be an update of multiple onlinescanners and av tools & win defender in the last few weeks), today i started the reflectionmaker and it was deleted by win defender same sec. Curious with anyone else with P3d v4.3 and ftx england installed (along with ftx global here as well and Utx).. It takes nearly 6 minutes to load into runway 27 at EGLL heathrow with ftx enabled for england.. if i turn off all of ftx england in sceneryconfigeditor then it loads in 1min 45 seconds.. Curious if this is normal or not.. i run on OS SSD + P3D SSD as well. Thanks in advance

Is KRDU from LatinVFr compatible in 4.3?

The aircraft is experiencing crash to desktop for no apparent reason.Sitting on the ground or in mid flight. Not having any issues with any other 3rd party payware. Running high end system w/ P3Dv4.2 This vehicle seams very unstable. Also if I expand or reduce from full screen it crashes immediately. Any idea why this is happening ? Also getting a map fail error on the MFD often. Would appreciate a solution.

Hi All, I've recently purchased Flight 1 GTN 750/650 Complete to fit in and use in a A2A P51-D Mustang Civilian. I'M using P3D V4.3. When I first installed the software it worked ok, but recently on loading I get the gtn650 unit displaying;- DEMONSTRATION CONFIG MODE Some boxes are displayed (including gtn setup) which are non-operative CONFIGURATION MODE, NOT FOR AIRBORNE USE I have used the A2A aircraft configurator and selected the gtn 650 unit and I've also selected the unit in the Flight 1 configurator, it loads up ok but just displays the above message. Hello, Last night I purchased and installed Imaginesim WSSS. It all went fine, and when I launched P3D v4.3, it asked to enable the airport, which I did. Since then P3D refuses to load past the splash screen on launch. No HDD activity or anything from what I can see. I've tried deleting that particular addon.xml, repairing the P3D client, and even reinstalling the client, but it is still stuck at the splash screen. I've tried to wait for atleast 30 mins to see if there is any change. Is there anything else I can try before reinstalling it ? Cheers 9W

I seem to have a problem i cant quite crack.. seems with vsync on at times my frame rate will drop to exactly 30.. toggle vsync off i'm at say 78 or 90 or 67 etc.. Put it back on, back to 30.. weird thing is.. if i close p3d and related apps and wait a period of time.. relaunch its back to 60.. then flying around or slewing (testing scenery) and suddenly its back to 30. I'm at a loss here.. cpu utilization is normal.. only p3d using anything.. i do run chaseplane but i've tried killing that to no avail. Anyone ran into this before? Thanks in advance

I am just wondering if anyone has any idea why my Adaptive Half Refresh Rate vsync is no longer working in Prepar3d. Normally, I could just enable the feature in my Nvidia control panel and I would have a really smooth 30FPS with the in game VSync enabled and unlimited frame rate setting. Now, it seems like the sim is ignoring my Nvidia settings, and is running anywhere from 40 to 55 FPS, and there are noticeable stutters. I checked my Prepar3d application profile with both Nvidia Inspector and the Nvidia Control panel program listing, and everything is at their default values. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how to get this feature back working again, …
