Hi. I am posting this here as I cannot find any other more suitable forum. I am considering subscribing to Navigraph for both FMS data and charts. I share an installation of Prepar3d v4 with my brother. The plan would be to install Navigraph on the desktop for FMS data, and then have the Charts app on our respective Android tablets. We may also have the Charts app on the desktop too as a backup option. The Navigraph terms of service refer to simultaneous logins on multiple devices and say that there is a limit to the number of devices allowed depending on your subscription. Hello! After three years long break, I'm going back to fly on PC's simulator. I'm a virtual (off-line, not vastim) pilot of PMDG B777 flying for Emirates Airlines. My hub is FlyTampa-Dubai Rebooted. I fly according to the real-world schedule. As I see, P3D4 looks amazing (much more better than my old FSX). I would like to compose the best set of addons for my style of flying. Guys, any idea how to use FSUIPC facilities for managing AI to make AI more spread out across the airport I'm departing from or arriving to? Pete Dawson mentioned that Airport Preference (%), Ground Preference (%), Nearer Preference (%), Planned Airport Preference (%) facilities in FSUIPC worked with UTLive. I'm not using those yet with UTLive, but every time I start a scenario in EGLL for example, Terminal 5, all the BA aircrafts tend to bunch up around me occupying all the jetways at Terminal 5. The same thing when arriving at Heathrow I can't find a single free gate at T5 no matter how many total aircraft limit I set in UTLive 150 or 70... Perhaps I should tweak UTLive…

Hi all, I moved last week from FSX to P3D. Maybe I don't have the right wording but for me the cockpit and scenery colors are "whiter", "brighter" than FSX. Maybe "washed". I believe that is well known? What I can do to malke the P3D colours resemble those of FSX? I fly A2A aircrafts and have FTX Global, Vector, OpenLC USA + Europe. Thanks.

I noticed my lights at night don’t show in the distance, particularly at high altitudes. When they do, they seem to shimmer a bit. Is there a fix to this or is it a known sim issue? I use PTA if that makes a difference.

Just noticed that when I use 'instant replay' with my QW 787 - all of the flaps and speedbrakes etc are in the correct positions during the playback - whereas with other aircraft such as PMDG - the speedbrakes and reverse thrust are shown deployed during playback while the aircraft is still in the air. Has QW found a secret that others have been seeking for a long time?

Hello, on every flight I got an issue with ToD calculating in QW 787. Looking into CDU: E.g: During the flight I have to reach 489 nm to KSFO which ETA 15:12 Z. My ToD is in 515nm at 15:35 Z. How can it be? I got this issue on every flight and have to descent manually. Edit: I'm using Version 1.1.2a

I got a problem, at my orbx scenery there will be often the same wood texture, but i guess they are wrong at this place. Its mostly the same texture and it will popup. Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 Sry for the pics with my mobile, but iam in my cockpit at the moment. Does anybody know what i can do without deinstall the orbx scenery ? Ty

Is it possible for a GTX1060 6G to perform worse than a GTX680? I recently upgraded (or thought it was an upgrade) my system from a GTX680 to a GTX1060 6G, and have found that instead of getting better performance it got worse. My FPS dropped by 30-50% at my HD airports, where all settings remained the same with my FPS is locked at 30. I used Nvidia Inspector to configure my card (both 680 and 1060) to the settings recommend by NickC, and added the recommended lines to the P3D config, which made significant improvement to the GTX680 operation. With the GTX680 (2Gb G-ram) my FPS was always between 25 and 30 and generally smooth, day or night; with the GTX1060 (6Gb G-r…

A few weeks ago there was a long thread discussion on this forum about the A2A V-Bonanza, and the apparent overly strong left pull on takeoff. The thread was moved to the A2A forum, where I continued to follow the discussion. The discussion evolved to the recommended use of a bit of right-rudder, and minimum aileron, at rotation (and at landing as well). I have now flown the A2A Bonanza many takeoffs using this technique, and it no longer seems to be a problem. So perhaps the flight model is OK after all, and it is just a bit of finessing the piloting technique? I had took a break from P3D for a bit inwhich before i did i usually got 40-50FPS mostly around open areas, but now i only get 20-30fps in the same area (no settings changed), i haven't added/installed any addons. I had been trying very hard to change the settings and get a boost of FPS but i can't seem to. I am mainly concerned about the London area, i can never seem to get over 20fps although i do have Aerosoft Heathrow & VFR London X activated the way i had my settings, it wasn't very impressive Can anyone recommend any settings? I currently have Win 7 64bit and FSX installed on the same 1 TB SSD. It has ~ 350GB free space left. I would like to install P3D V4x on the same drive. I have numerous add-ons including ORBX scenery for FSX and plan to pretty much duplicate that with P3D. Is there any problem with the single SSD plan for this in people's experience ? Cheers Jeff

This is not a drill, i repeat, this is not a drill! PFPX is getting its first major update since about two years, bringing SIGMET overlays and enroute wind analysis. Not much know about other features though, but i'm glad to see that develpment hasnt ceased for PFPX. Hi guys, So I am trying to use Simstarter NG for my start up and assign cpu cores to each add on. But know matter what I do after start up I check task manager and each one is running on all cores instead of the ones I assigned. So thinking it was a simstarter issue I built a batch file to test the issue. Exact same issue. The only way to assign cores is after the program is running with task manager affinity settings but that of course is only temporary. Am I missing something? I am starting to think it is a mobo bios or Windows 10 issue. It is Asus mobo with 7700k. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!!

As of a week and five flights ago I have lost the ILS option as a NAV Source on my Q400. I tune my NAV Radio and know I am close enough to the ILS, however, cycling through the NAV sources I only get the two FMS and VOR choices. No ILS. I have tried various airports and runways with the same results. I have updated my Navigraph cycle to the latest for all my addons. I created several new flights cold and dark and flown them. Although I no longer lose my FMC flightpath display, which also started to happen mid flight, I still cannot choose ILS for as a NAV Source for the approach and landing. I am trying to find a good mix of chasplane and P3d settings when it comes to bloom, saturation, and brightness and I can’t seem to find a realistic setting. It turns out to be too bright and white or too dark and grey. I use pta as well. I know this is a very general question, but does anyone have any recommendations that I can try as a baseline mix of settings?

Hello, look at my screenshot on the Bottom of this Topic. In my opinion the nightlight is to bright, the whole Aircraft isn't dark enough. I think it is caused by the moonlight but is there a chance to fix it and get the nightlight darker? While flying P3Dv4.3, default ATC tells me to change frequency. I make the change using a Saitek Radio panel (via SPAD.neXt) and the change is reflected on the instrument panel in the sim and the instrument panel in Air Manager. In the past, once I made the change, the ATC option for tuning the radio would go away (once I tuned to the prescribed frequency) and I’d then have the option for contacting whoever. Now, the ATC window continues to give me only the one option to tune the radio to the new frequency. I’m unable to contact anyone on the new frequency until I choose Option 1, tune <Seattle Center> (or whoever) to the new frequency. How do I fix this, please? Th…

Hi. Is there anyone Who have succeded with FSUIPC calibrating and assigning the Saitek rudder pedals? Sometimes the brakes stop working or just goes anti reverse in function. Also left and right brake only is visible when sending direct for calibrating. Please help with a to z here. Apreciated P3DV3 Michael Moe

Hi Folks, I’ve seen some recent references for the upcoming JustFlight Duchess - Alan - LOL - so I tracked down some pix... VC looks pretty good - bunch of time in Baby Beech’s - been in dozens... My only critique would be the yokes look a bit too dingy and grey in the images I’ve seen - they are actually white - and the gauge needles seem a little overtly bright white... All might just be the preview images... I’m looking forward to this one - hope they do it well... Maybe Martin will stop in and offer a few words... i hope the GPS is better than the one they put in the first version... 😁 Regards, Scott

After the PTA mess, i decided TomatoShade was the one i was going to get. (And it was free!) But, i hit a snag. In the bottom of the Tomato Shade program, there are several files that have "invalid shader integrity" I searched the problem up, and all I had to do was reinstall the client. I did it 3 times, with the same thing. I even removed everything of P3D. (Client, Content, etc) but to no avail. I haven't tried removing all addons, as I do have a few. So, I really dont know. I tried reinstalling the P3D installer with still the "invalid shader integrity" still popping in TomatoShade.
