Does anyone know if UK2000's Belfast City released earlier this year is P3Dv4 compatible? There are astericks on the UK2000 website where it says "P3D Compatible" but I am not able to find an explanation on the website if it is V4 Compatible.

Yes, I know it's not a new topic, but, I've had P3Dv4.3 for almost 2 months now after years of running FSX. I don't have the newest or most powerful system by any means, but it should be adequate when I see examples of other systems out there. For the most part, I thoroughly enjoy the P3D experience but the thing that bugs me the most that I can't seem to get rid of is mentioned in the subject line. From reading ad nauseum (sp) concerning the subject it appears that it's primary control is AA. I've tried numerous settings and combinations (with NVIDIA Inspector) and cannot get rid of the problem. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! My system consists of …

Guten Tag aus Berlin. Hello from Berlin/Germany. I'm running Windows 10 Pro / 64 , P3D V4.3x I recently purchased 3 Logitech (ex Saitek) Panels : Switch Panel, Multi Panel and Radio Panel. After a great frustration at the beginning, because the switch panel disabled after a few second, the multi panel didnt show anything on the display, I learned about the EnhancedPowerManagement that has to be disabled in the Registry. Switching the settings of those 3 devices from 1 to 0 I got the Switch Panel and the Multi Panel working 100%. The Radio Panel does respond correct to the Logitech Test Software. I’m close to placing an order for a new PC to run P3D v4 and cannot decide if 16Gb of RAM is sufficient or whether I should go for 32Gb for future-proofing. Its been a long time since I've even thought about changing or looking at default nVidia settings. Should i be changing any of the default nVidia settings to get the best out of my GPU with P3D? If I believed every YouTube video out there, I'd be changing all sorts, but I believe HERE is by far the best place for that info. My card is Asus GTX970. Since installing that card a year or so back, I've change nothing.

Hi Folks, On generic aircraft - generic autopilot - is there a function defined to map the "AP Altitude Arm" - to a joystick button ??? I've gone through the normal controller setup and FSUIPC several times - either I'm blind - or it's not there ? Anyone know how to map this function ? Thanks... Regards, Scott

Hi! Just updated the client and content for P3dv4.3 from 4.2. No issues with install as I have done this many times before. However when I attempt to startup P3dv4.3 I am stuck at 34% with the original scenerycfg or 98% with a new one. Deleted generated files no joy. Uninstalled and reinstalled with no addons accepted-still no joy. Deleted generated files and accepted all addons still no joy. I ended up installing the scenery for 4.3 and then reinstalling my global and hd trees following Poppet's instructions. Everything worked and asked me to activate addons which I did. Worked perfectly. Then I saved that scenery cfg. Tried with my old scenerycfg stuck at …

So.... I was a hold out. No particular reason other than I was able to finally enjoy FSX:SE for a while after they fixed up some bugs. I've had my fill, so I decided to see what the next level can do for me. She's downloading now. Oh Lord, what have I done. lol I have not even begun to read the posts in here. Is there anything important that I need to know before I get too far in?

Interesting post by Frooglesim this morning re Orbx site 'requirement' that XP11 Southampton purchasers have Orbx TE Great Britain South 1st. Orbx website may have changed this now to 'recommended', but the discussion brought out a few things I didn't know. JV suggested airports will work without regions. T45

Hello, I'm not sure if you guys know this very nice tool. Unfortunately this tool is not working on my Win 7 under prepar3d v4. I cant start the .exe File LoLa.exe since important .dlls seem to be missing. Is there a similar tool out that is working with p3d? Thanks! Best regards Andreas

My video card on my gaming laptop just failed. The warranty I have stipulates that the machine is to be returned, fixed, in five days max or the machine will be replaced. So in three more days I may be getting another machine. I have a question re p3dv4. I have one drive dedicated to P3d. Would it work to simply have that drive installed in the new machine? Are there other procedures to follow to make it work? Thanks for any replies and guidance. Dave

What do I mean by that? Well, in the last 6 months, my wife and I have traveled. We've flown the 787 (LOT Polish Airlines) from Newark (KEWR) to Warsaw, Poland (EPWA), and the LOT Embraer 175 from Gdansk, Poland (EPGD), back to Warsaw, and the 787-800 back home. That was in May. So, P3d has provided me with many hours of replicating these flights and enjoying them much more than if I had never visited this country and these cities. I now enjoy the 787-800 LOT plane in P3d, and I enjoy my new Poland scenery of Warsaw and Gdansk in a much more meaningful way. So we all know the old (P3D V3 till today) when all shadows disappear when panning around. During summer time it was mostly noticeable during early morning/late afternoon- evening- sunset. Now that winter months are here, the sun is always in lower angle so this bug simply happens all day. LM, you are developing planes and advanced weapons systems, is this bug really that hard to fix ? or its simply dosnt bother you as company ? Please dont get me wrong as i love the sim but this annoying thing is there for years.

Hi,planning to use P3D with HTC Vive Pro and trying to figure out what hw configuration to use. Video card for the configuration is going to be 2080Ti. CPU is going to be some i9, but what is enough and what is just too much? Is the most expensive (i9-7980XE) the best for this use case? Not sure what to prioritize from number of cores, base frequency, boost frequency, threads or cache?What does the P3D benefit the most and what is not that important? Are there some restrictions in P3D? I am lucky to be upgrading to a new gaming computer...I will have to do a clean install of P3D....if a new version is on the horizon, I'd rather wait for it...does anyone know if such a new version is coming soon... Thanks, John H.

Been outta the loop for the last couple of months, doing a fresh install of p3d since some things are wonky - what is up with tomato shade/word on it/do you use it with URP and PTA and whatnot? Worth it? If I get it...what are the best presets out there for it too? thx.

Does anyone know of a way to use a batch file to add on to the scenery.cfg for a series of folders that have the \scenery subdirectory.. ie: xyz111\scenery xyz222\scenery etc In my case quite a few.. i'd like to be able to loop through and automatically add each entry somehow (and maybe check to see if it exists though not required).. I've bought this today and used the installer but I'm pretty sure my NGX 737 doesn't have any change in sounds? Did I do something wrong? Since you can't do much in the installer like selecting file destionation, it just installs and it's done I guess? Do I have to do a certain thing before it's working?

Within the last 24 hours both developers have teased a release on their Facebook pages.. Here's hoping this weekend kicks off what should be an interesting few months ahead.
