Hi everyone I have a problem with my P3D which generates an error. The P3D version is 4.3.29.25520. I have many ORBX sceneries and PMDG 737 NGX installed, however, the problem most likely appeared after uninstalling Active Sky 2016. I remember that the uninstaller asked me whether to delete also user data, xgauges, etc., I clicked YES and then did not run the simulator and did not check if it works properly. Yesterday I ran sim and it does not work. I tried to install Active Sky again but it did not help. I also reinstalled the .NET Framework 4.6.2 many times and it did not help. I'm broken. Many months of my work on the P3D configuration went to waste…

Recently I bought p3d v4. I installed pmdg 737, 777 and QW 787. Today I started a flight and the textures were kind of orange missing. Help please. I don´t have installed ORBX

I cannot find much about and would like to hear some opinions here. Is it useful to get a better understanding and handling of PMDGs 737 777 or 747-400?

Im pretty sure this issue is just a p3d thing and has been for some time, its just i'm just now noticing it more. Even setting the (LOD) detail radius to maximum in P3D i feel like the photoscenery tiles only draw out a short distance.. you can see obvious blurry tiles until you get closer. I guess i could modify the actual lod to be much higher than what the bar sets it at, say 6.5 or 7 etc. Any thoughts. Perhaps there is a tweak i'm forgetting (most likely just the manual LOD) Thanks in advance

Hi everyone This is rather an odd one ..... A few days ago nothing wrong whatsoever but now the trim wheel will not work in any aircraft including default aircraft .... I use the GoFlight Yoke and assigning one of the rockers switches on the yoke for trim up and down nothing works .... even if I disable that and just use the mouse to move the trim wheel nothing happens Any pointers on this would be greatly appreciated Cheers Paul

I would like to have realistic night time settings for P3Dv4.3 and would appreciate feedback as to how this can be achieved from users who have managed to get the sweet spot. Thanks

I have been tweaking settings on Nvidia Inspector now for a while with no success. I have tried various settings like vsync 1/2 refresh rate (know it doesn't properly work with v4 but many say it helps) and limiter to 30fps etc. My monitor is 60hz, with only 50 hz compatibility, not 30hz. I cannot find settings that give smooth viewing most of the time. I can retain 30fps, but not 50+ consistently, and all the settings I have tried for 30fps like 1/2 refresh vsync with and without fps limiter have all appeared choppy and not smooth in any location. Any help? P3DV4 Specs: GTX 1060 6GB I5 7600K 16GB RAM

Are there yet any flight planning apps that are able to locate airports in both the usual scenery locations AND external XML sceneries? I've been busy putting all my addon sceneries outside the P3D root structure, only to find this causes my flight planners and maps can't find them:-(

I would like to know if the Navigraph Desktop Charts application can be connected with P3Dv4, using SimLink, through a network, working as a moving map ? Any of you using it or with info on the subject ? Thx!

Hello all - I'm getting a strange issue with my autogen (see attached picture). I was thinking they are perhaps artifacts from hardware overload but I have a pretty powerful PC and all of my temps / loads seem to be fine when monitoring. I also have settings dialed back quite a bit. My next guess is maybe something to do with the autogen being corrupted. I've listed my addons below as well. Any help appreciated! I have just been asked to taxi to Gate Echo 77 at FlyTampa Amsterdam, but when I got there I noticed that the sign stated "D77". Checking the official EHAM charts has confirmed that "E77" is the correct designation, so I have just posted a request on the FlyTampa forum to get this changed. I suspect that this may also be true for Echo 75 and Echo 72 (although I did not check these).

Hi, I am considering to subscribe to PilotEdge ($19.95/month). However, because I am a casual / medium-core simmer, and because I do not have the budget to pay every month, I am thinking of subscribing intermittently. After flying with P3D for years without any problems I suddenly get frequent lockups. Every now and then (like during my last two flights) the screens freezes (while the sound still works) and after a few seconds I am at the desktop. And all that without any warning or error message. P3D just quits. I am using P3D v4.3 with AS, UTL, ChasePlane, ProATC, FTX Norway, Airports of Norway, PTA, SkyForce (clouds only) and the Majestic Q400. That's all I have installed too. Windows 10. Seeking help! I went to do a flight from KLAX with FSDT KLAX installed and noticed there were no jetways at any gate. I looked around at my other scenery's and noticed none of my FSDT scenery's had jetways. I reinstalled all my scenery's but had no luck. I then thought that maybe it is SODE so I reinstalled that but still no luck. My T2G LFPG, which I believe has SODE enabled, has jetways. I also did the two in-game test to see if SODE was working and everything is working fine except it doesn't recognize any objects at the FSDT airports (it does at T2G and Flightbeam airports). Hi, I am not sure if this is the correct forum, but I am having a problem with updating the ILS data in P3Dv4 using the SORS Airport Inspector. If I select/search for a "Stock Airport (P3Dv4), enter the Airport ICAO Identifier "OMDB" and press select I get a warning "The file folder is write protected and will not allow any edition"! My question: How do I get rid of the WRITE PROTECTION of a folder? Thanks for help

I use Prepar3D v4 and the following addons for the landscape: ORBX Global Base, all Global openLC Addons, Global VECTOR and Mesh FS Global Ultimate - Next Generation The ORBX addon textures are all sharp and load very fast. All good! But when I install an airport addon or photorealistic textures, these textures are blurrie. I am very surprised, because the ORBX textures all work perfectly.
