So I stumbled across the freeware AI model project called "FLAi". I chose the xml addon method to add the AI models to the sim and used AIFP3 to link the new models to some AIG flightplans. In the sim (P3D v4.3) traffic shows up but still seems to use the default airport AFCAD instead of the one from my payware addon. Noticed this once I saw the AI touch down 100 ft before the runway threshold as the addon airports elevation is a bit higher than the default one. In AIFP3 the option to use addon airport data is checked and I let the app collect all my addon airports I have installed. 3Suddenly I have no control over the nosewheel steering. This applies to all aircraft. I do not have rudder pedals, using a CH Yoke with ailerons for ground steering. The latest version of EZDok is installed in P3Dv3. I vaguely remember this happening long ago but don't remember how to fix it. Was it in the controls settings? Any suggestions please!!!

Does anyone know if it is possible to copy FSR recording files from a sim on one computer (I.E. Prepar3D v4) to the same version of the sim (I.E. Also Prepar3D v4) on another computer and have it be able to playback on the second computer? I don't have multiple computers with P3D v4 on it so I can't test it myself. Thanks

Hello, as you can see in the attachment, i have a very awful transition of sky textures. does anyone know how to get better transition? i use Envtex with ReShade and Tomato. Hope you can help me.

Quick look at the shiny new Carenado DA62. Along the way, this video also has a very quick look at some other P3D bits and bobs including: UK2000's EGGP Liverpool Xtreme, Just Flight's Early Access Traffic Global, CSD's RealTrim, HiFi's Active Sky/ASCA, A2A's AccuFeel and Orbx's UK scenery.

I have just noticed that the wingspan of the FSPXAI Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 is defined as 155.4 feet in the aircraft.cfg file. It should be 197.2 feet. I checked because I noted that a TUI 787-8 was parked at a gate at EGNT Newcastle that has a radius of only 24 metres (the minimum should be 31 metres for a 787). You may want to check this if you have these AI planes installed.

Hi all- I have a few questions regarding FFTF before I alter the cfg. Here goes. I'm running Unlimited/Vsync. What is the defaulted P3D FFTF under this unlocked senario? Now, not knowing what that is, if I entered an alternative FFTF under this unlocked senario, would it override the default? Thanks, Mark

So after take off I hide the gear, make a turn and then want to see this again. So I'm choosing instant replay. - obviously But If I hide a gear as mentioned above my plane during take off will be in the same state as when entering "Instant replay". It looks awful when it's speeding up on the runway without gear. I've noticed that this also refers to flaps and speed brakes. It "remembers" the last state of the plane in the replay. How to fix this?

I am struggling where to start here with p3dv4.3.....1. should I start with the ftx orbx global base? If not suggestions? 2. What is the best airplane pay ware for the price. I’m into either the 737 series or the a320-a321 3.ultimate traffic live? Thoughts on the product. Thank you!

I just purchased P3D V4, and several PMDG aircraft including 747-8. I use the Saitek X52 Pro and a number of profiles. All works great with FSX SE and these aircraft, but when I use them and the same profiles in P3D I'm getting some weird behavior. Noted so far that when I go to raise the flaps, F6 on the keyboard works fine, but when I hit the button on my yoke mapped to F6, my autopilot disconnects. Extend F7 also does this. I think I have the latest drivers 7.0.42.12 as I haven't found anything newer. Any ideas?

Im using the DC3 from Manfred Jahn in p3d V4. When tuning a vor I dont get any signal on my RMI/VOR display. I tried around several airports around the world, and made sure to use p3d's own map to tune VORs, but no joy. Anyone know if there is a certain trick to this in this particular aircraft, or just that it simply doesn't work in p3dv4?

Well, that's new... In the middle of a flight the screen suddenly locked up while the sound kept on playing and BANG it was back to the desktop. Can't remember that ever happened before. I do have to say that at the start of the flight ChasePlane didn't react to my shortcuts: it would change view only if I clicked on a preset in the CP interface. After disconnecting and connecting my keypad again everything was fine. Until the screen froze in the middle of a transition from one view to another: a few seconds of sound kept on playing and then I saw the desktop. Without ANY warning. Which is why I wonder if P3D saves a log somewhere so I can perhaps see what went wrong? May…

Hi: Can somebody explain to me why I keep getting duplicate scenery. In P3D's scenery library I have the scenery I want to above scenery that should be suppressed. For example I have downloaded and installed a few freeware airports from the library. However, when I go to that airport I just added/updated, there are duplicate buildings (terminals, hangers, towers, etc.). Also, when I open the GSX airport catch, it too keeps "grabbing" the wrong airport. What am I doing wrong? I know about about the "Simple Airport Scanner", but that doesn't seem to help. Thanks!

Hey guys, A weird issue, I fly the PMDG 737 NX and the altitude calls are not always precise. I hit the runway on the 10 call, sometimes even on the 20. Doesn't happen on all runways and for those that supports CAT III, it autolands the aircraft smoothly so no problem there. Any idea ? I have the latest Navigrpah. Where does PMDG take the height from ? Doron.

Hi all, Between rectifying some early user-error issues and navigating the number of small bugs, I've really started to enjoy the Qualitywings 787. Now the only "issue" I've yet to resolve is the lack of available performance take off/derate data. I just find it too unrealistic (for my taste) to take off with full thrust with a light load (eg; ACA739 CYYZ - KSFO) and experience a "rocket-launch" climb-out. I've been using QSim for the 787-8 but haven't touched the 787-9 because of the lack of resources available. The only other option I know of is the TOPER 787 - but it only has 787-8 flaps 15, which QSim already provides. Recently I was reminded of this…

Try to load p3d4.3 and does not start. See the program start loading but the difference is that no picture of UTLive starts either EZDoc, then disappears from desktop. Tryed several times but nothing. Haven’t touched or changed anything. Please Help George

Hi guys, I'm stuck on a bit of a dilemma. I trying to decide if I should get the PMDG expansion 747-8 or if I should purchase the QW 787. I have enjoyed the PMDG Boeings for a long time; however, it has bothered me their practice of charging several time for the same aircraft "colored with a few little extras ." Other developers have preferred to provide free updates or a significant discounts for updates/upgrades. Thus, I have my doubts if I should continue supporting such "business approach." On the other hand we have QW 787 which is more modern, New, and a beautiful aircraft. Therefore, I am debating as to whether I should get the Expansion for the 747 or g…

Maybe someone has an idea how this works....or I´m totally wrong and theres no way to do it so. 🙂 In some P3d Youtube Videos I can hear that the cabin announcement is different to the factory version.
