My 737 default is perfect. EXCEPT for the radios. I hit shift + 2 and I get a big black rectangle. I know it's specific files or gauges that I need, and I can't figure it out. PLEASE help me with this. I'm trying to fly the 737 in Prepar3dv4 and since I totally deleted the FSX program, I'm very unhappy and confused. What files do I need for the radios to show up. Also, my gauges are totally missing from my default King Air 350. I need help from some of you wonderful gurus out there. Stan

Hello everyone, I would like to know what the best/ most realistic bi-planes that are out there for P3D V4 are. I have been having a blast in the Golden Age Simulations Stearman but I feel as if it is a bit too easy or whatnot to fly and am looking to find something else. I don't care about how old/ slow/ difficult it is. I just want something quality. Any responses welcome and appreciated. Thanks, Andrew

Just started this and with all planes I've tried. They are flying a few degrees off heading on autopilot and the horizon is not level. Any ideas?

Folks, When I loan ANY of the PMDG planes in the JFK with EZDOK, the EZDOK controls as well as PMDG controls on the joystick are blocked immediately. Technically speaking, the plane becomes unflyable. It happens whether I load a scenario in JFK or overfly that area. I would appreciate if you do some testing for me. Thanks Dmitriy

I have a problem at the moment in P3D v3.4 with respect to default "globe" lights dotted around the landscape, even though I am using VFR Photographic Scenery across the entire UK.. It does not matter so much away from airports, but one of these lights is sitting right next to the runway at UK2000 Guernsey Xtreme! Can someone advise me how to remove these annoying lights? They are floating maybe 20 feet above the ground, and are probably supposed to represent street lights seen from the air.

You can set to unlimited first, fly and see what the counter shows. Hello everyone! I am back with another request from the amazing AVSIM community. I'm looking to do a tour with some friends across america and would like you're advice on what plane to use! I am open to payware and freeware, although it has to be payware quality. I would like the plane to have a cruise of somewhere around 160-180 kts and also have decent takeoff performance. Like stated above it would need to be a prop plane. It would be nice if the plane was at least "good" quality interior as I will be spending a hell of a lot of time with it. I'm not very technical nor do I have a poor performing sim, but I was curious what does locking the frame rates do in the P3d settings opposed to having them unlimited (this is what I have it set to). I fly PMDG/FSLabs (V4.1) and have lots of payware airports along with Orbx Open LC and Base. I get smooth performance with an occasional hiccup when I dense airport comes into view. However, it is nothing to get frustrated with. I was just curious as to what I should have that setting to if having it at unlimited might be an issue at some point. When checking fps, I have seen it as low as 20 and as high as 50 depending on the situation so I wasn't sure if that was becau…

To upgrade capabilities on my P-8 and P-3 platforms while doing surface search, it'd be great to have a view ships option like the view aircraft option. A 30 mile radius of ship traffic should be sufficient since these aircraft have adequate surface search capabilities at ranges approximate to that or greater. Pretty much what the title says. Everything's smooth externally, but if I "turn my head" in the VC the motion is jerky. If I'm using mouselook, it's jerky enough that I tend to overshoot where I'm trying to point at. If I'm using TrackIR, it's very annoying. Doesn't matter what plane I'm flying - it's just as jerky in a PMDG high-res cockpit as it is in a default plane. Is this normal behavior - i.e. is it harder on system resources to look around in the cockpit than it is to just fly around without playing with the camera - or is there something wrong? Of possible relevance, if I switch to an external view, I can pan around completely smoothly.

Afternoon all, I've come across this tweak ( TEXTURE_SIZE_ESP ) For P3D V4. I'm wondering if anyone here can share some thoughts on it? Does it actually improve performance in the sim? I have had a look around about it but i thought i'd ask here directly for anyone's thoughts on it. I'm usually quite weary when applying any tweaks to a config file but if it improves performance then i'm all for it.

Anybody here using Project Lasso? I know how to set it up, I just don't have much success with it. I have 4790k (4 cores), no HT, so the best way is supposed to be to have P3D running on all 4 cores and to put all other addons and programs only on core 3 and 4. So, I moved Active Sky, TrackIR, couatl, SODE,.. only on last two cores so P3D would have more "space" for itself on cores 1 and 2 which usually get very busy with core 1 almost always on 100%. In theory, this should have some positive effects. In reality, at least for me, it doesn't. I know there is a specific forum on the Toga site, but I have had this post over on the forum since last weekend and have not yet had a reply, despite several attempts. I'm hoping someone here may be able to offer some advice. I am sure I have seen concerns regarding this elsewhere, but have failed to find a cure. Effectively, the autogen buildings when using Envshade, appear too bright. This is more apparent later in the day. While I really like Envshade, this one single element is spoiling the enjoyment of this product for me. Hello, I have recently been perfecting my system. Now that I can let it run without a FRL and my CPU0 doesn't constantly stay at 100% utilization I wanted to give my VR another try. I have Oculus and have used it before without issue. However now while I can let it run in Stereo Mode without issue, if I try and run it on Single-Pass mode, the screen stays black. You can, however, see the glideslope approach lights and thunder when there is some, but other than that the screen stays black. If go back to Stereo Mode it back to normal again. I have the most current drivers for both Oculus and Nvidia installed, curious to see if anybody has any thoughts on the matter?…

I was forced to wipe my PC and now with a fresh installation of the latest P3D my TIR5 doesn't recognize P3D running. Anyone else experienced this?

Hi everyone, I made a similar post in the VR forum, but I'm also putting it here if that's okay (I think more people in the main forum may have had a similar experience). I recently tried VR in 4.3 but I hated it, and uninstalled the Rift and Odyssey. However, now that I'm back in my "normal sim", with Chaseplane, I can't open any windows using the Shift+ method. I tried deleting the cameras.cfg, didn't help. Reinstalled client, didn't help. Uninstalled and reinstalled the CS757 as a test, that didn't help either. This is a problem that seems to run across all of my aircraft, but I have no idea how to get things back to normal. Any ideas out there? Thanks…

Just want to collect some data for some very informal research I'm doing- by 'real world pilot' I'm including both student and licensed pilots. To jumpstart the discussion beyond the poll, it would be interesting to know whether or not everybody started flight simming before or after you started training. Thanks! Hi all! Is it possible to setup an online session on v4, where clients can start their flight on diferent airports from the one I choose as an host? If I remember correctly, on P3D v3 there was an option to allow this but on v4 I can't find nothing. I tried with a friend and his plane is allways on same airport as mine, no mater the location he chooses. Thanks.
