Hello, I installed the DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - NEW YORK CITY X V2 FSX P3D and then the sim stays a very long while in this situation (loading screen) and that's all. https://gyazo.com/487515060385930875d66fa3efeb2c24 I have the Orbx installed but it says it's compatible (Global Base, Global Vector and Open LC). Any idea about what's not working?

Hello all, As I have stated many times now, I am new to P3Dv4 and am currently trying to find the best wx combination for this platform, I know Active Sky is supposed to be the be all and end all for real world wx generation. It is also the be all and end all for my limited wallet and therefore, whilst worthy of consideration, I wish to explore other avenues. I believe that REX textures are close to the best cloud textures, if indeed, they are not the best. Also cheaper, but not great at real world wx generation. I have not looked at the OPUS system as yet. but I am going to assume that possibly a combination of something like FS Global WX and REX may…

Hello, I downloaded FTX Central 3 for my Windows 7 desktop a few hours ago, and when I open the installer, a window immediately pops up and says "Orbx.Installer has stopped working. Windows can check for a solution to the problem and close the program, etc, etc..." I don't know why it's doing this, as FTX Central 3 should be compatible with Windows 7. I tried running it in Windows 7 compatibility mode, but it still won't work. This sounds a bit weird, but I've had to set an option in P3D to make it so that other aircraft can pass through each other as they're taxing. That's because they never stop for me - they go on to crash into me if I don't turn this option the way it is. I've had to make it so they can simply pass through me w without causing damage. this causes another problem in that when I get pushed back from a gate, sometimes another aircraft is created and flashed up in front of me as though I wasn't there in the first place! H how do I get P3D to recognise that I'm there, but stop other aircraft from creating into me - assuming using the ATC (I use the builtin ATC, and I k…

I was on final approach into KJFK when my game froze right before landing and my plane appeared right above the runway causing me to slam into the ground. This never happened to me before. Anyone know what would cause this? Addons- PMDG 747, active sky, asca, orbx global, fsuipc, chaseplane

Ive run the installers from : https://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html But EETN ILS´s dont seem to be updating They should be 108.3 and 109.3 but they dont work In the p3dv4 own flight planner it states the frequencies as 111.7 and 110.3 which actually work but these are from 2006 I´ve run BGLfacilityscanner.exe and it tells me the freqs should be 108.3 and 109.3 leading me to : C:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d V4\Scenery\0601\scenery\APX54100.bgl Which does actually exist Is anyone having the same problem? Hello, I just upgraded to P3D and I am very happy, However, I have a very big issue with the Proatc-X installation. when I install proatc-X, and try to import the data, it tells me I have to read the scenery first. Whenever I press that button, it tells me that the Makerwys.exe file is not found. I have tried to solve it the way in the shared video below, but with no succes. I already uninstalled Proatc-X 3 times now, and now I really don't know what to do anymore. It has made me very stressed out. I hope someone can help me with this problem. Noah

Maybe about every 4-6 months, I will be flying along with P3D V 3.4 and Windows 7, with everything working normally as usual. Then at some point in the flight, the program starts getting jerky, like sometimes happens when you go into a scenery area where the scenery starts loading and everything hesitates for a second runs, hesitates, runs, etc. When this continues, as it did today, I will go into task manager, and performance /resource monitor and I will see an entry cm.exe using around 20-25% cpu. This adds to the cpu that P3D is using bringing the peak total up to almost 100%. I then right click on cm.exe and stop it from running by selecting "end process". It stops…

Hi all, I have an issue with "Split level" airports both commercial and native in P3D4. "Split level" airports, as I call them, is where the basic airport is level but other ground, such as that between runways and taxi/access paths are at a different (usually lower) level. I have found samples such as native P3D KDEN and commercial airports such as Dreamteam's KLAS. I have also discovered that whilst FSDT's KDFW is level all vehicles have their wheels buried into the ground surface by about 6" to 9". However, my other commercial purchased airports appear OK and I have had no problems with other inbuilt airports although I haven't visited very many I have has …

It's been a long time I notice that my preset settings of P3D v4 keeps changing out of nothing. I have a created preset to which I gave a name and applied. Moments later I come back to the screen just to find it has changed to "Custom", instead of the name/settings I applied before. OK, then I go there and change it again, but next time it's changed again! Seems like some addon or something is changing anything on the fly which reverts my settings, do you know what might this be?

So basically I want to load up p3d, configure for a flight, perform the flight, land at an airport, park at a gate, and then SAVE MY CONDITION and use the same aircraft for the next flight. This way, I will eventually need to refill the oil, and other fluids, etc. I don't want a brand new aircraft every time I start up the sim is what I'm saying. Is there a way to save it and use the exact same aircraft every time? Any addons that can do this?

Bonjour, i have bought 777-200 PMDG (Version 1.10.63.70) on Feb 11 2015 and i have installed it on P3D v2 and further on P3D v3 (Version 1.10.7025.0) and finally (Version 1.10.8886). I have buy P3D v4, and i want to know if i can install the 777-200 on P3D v4. I have desinstall it on P3D v3, but when i start install, it reinstall on P3D v3. I have not p3D v2 or P3D v3 or P3D v4 options. How i can install my product please. Thank you. EDIT: Apparently, nothing to do, i think i am obliged to buy the PMDG 777-200 for P3D v4, right ?.

Hello, Here is my problem I am using the latest version of P3d V4.3 (fresh install). I don't use FSUIPC. I have a yoke and 3 saitek Pro flight quadrants. I did all the hardware assignements (yoke, quadrant 1,2 and 3). The problem is that sometimes P3D identifies quadrant 1 as quadrant 2 (or 3) and so forth. So basically the hardware settings are mixep up. It is annoying. Is there a fix? Thank you for your help.

Isn't it kinda funny how the expansion is only $4 cheaper than the base? It's almost like a whole new addon. I guess adding people and custom jetways raise the price, but, if you think about it, FSDT's products that cost $30, are ACTUALLY worth, $30. FSDT KSDF has great buildings, SODE jetways, a working EMAS system, specular mapping, animated vehicles, fully customized ground and runways textures, 2D taxiway lighting, and the UPS cargo loading/unloading with GSX integration, GSX Level 2 has people, custom jetways you can replace, and more jetways. Hello friends. I really need your help. I've been over and over this and I can't seem to find the issue. It happens that I moved from V2.5 to the most recent P3D v3.4 since I was having a lot of stuttering issues on V2.5. It happens that now I have even worse stuttering like the unplayable type. I don't know what else to do. I really Am thinking in asking p3d for a refund because this is impossible to simulate whatever. The worst part is that I used to have P3D v2.5 running ok. Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, although potentially Prepar3D specific, but I had reason to download pmsounds (from the Project Magenta website) which I purchased from Project Magenta about 5 years ago, and found that the download links are not working. For those unaware of pmsounds, it is software which interfaces with FSUIPC to introduce cockpit, engine and radio altitude callouts into the simulator. To be quite frank with you, a useful tool for certain applications. The software which the user is entitled to (through purchasing) is listed under your username, but the download links all fail. I've been seeing people with "blurries" and I don't even know what that is! I've seen people with terrible texture resolution, and come to think of it, I was flying to KDFW when literally to the left of me, there are NO buildings whatsoever, and the texture quality has seen better days. It was usually ORBX, as back in the ol' FSX Boxed days, I had ORBX, and around KSJC there would be what I called "blank spots" where there are no buildings, and terrible texture quality. At the time, I had no other addons. Just ORBX and some freeware. Over the course of a few months, it just fixed itself. I don't even know how, but it did. I didn't touch anything, but it fixed…

I'm to the point that its hard to remember what addons I have.... what areas, geographies, type of add ons, etc etc. I'd estimate I have about 50+ addons total covering aircraft, weather, scenery, land class, airports, etc etc etc. This becomes and issue sometimes when things don't function quite right (or look correct in the scenery) but I can't remember what addon would be responsible for causing the error or issue. I.e. was taxiing at the new ORBX KSAN V2 and I've got taxiway signs in the middle of the taxiway.... now, which addon would be causing this.... can't remember!
