Hi I have just installed P3DV4.3 64 bit, and installed the great Quality Wings 787 Dreamliner. When I compile a flight plan in the FMC and Save it, the FMC shows a message saying that my flight plan has been saved, I fly the flight plan, close P3DV4. Next day I open P3DV4 and request my previously saved flight plan, but it is not in the stored Flight Plans page in the FMC. I then check the Prepare 3DV4 flight plans folder, but my flight plan is not in there. By the way I had the QW787 in my FSX-SE and I had no problems at all compiling and saving, retrieving the flight plans. I have 2 other P3DV4 users with QW787 who have the same probl…

I'm currently learning the Aerosoft Airbus Professional stuff, and loving it. It has a great copilot and I just love everything about the plane. However, in the future I may switch to the bigger Boeing's from PMDG, and I wondered what people's opinions on using FS2Crew were with those? I believe they don't have a copilot, so maybe I should think about buying FS2Crew for those? Opinions would help. Thanks, Gaz

In a move that's not surprising to anyone, Aerosoft announced a new delay of his A320/A321 Professional which has been under development for a long, long, long time. Needless to say their A330 is getting his time too, and will probably be out by next year. Anyway, that's part of Aerosoft slow product development cycle. Cheers, Ed

Anyone know if it's possible (by default or by addon) to assign key strokes to P3DV4 menu options ? For example, I'd like to be able to turn AI shadows on and off 'on the fly' at major airports without going through the normal "Options" settings. Thanks

I've only purchased one Carenado Expansion pack for the Citation S550, and I'm relatively happy with that purchase, but of course, that does not have a G1000 installed. With the release of the F1 Mustang, I bought that right away, but as noted, the G1000 does not support VNAV. I was wondering if any of you have purchased any Carenado G1000 Expansions (100/300 Phenom or PA46 Meridian) and are happy with that purchase. Thanks for the insight!

Hello everyone, first of all thank you for using the Avsim forums, this makes everything so much easier :D. The installer automatically points the airplane into the P4D addons folder. I have moved my documents folder to my 2TB HDD using the function in the right click properties win 10 offers, as this is my main scenery installation path. P3D itself runs on an SSD. I have found noticable disadvantages in performance with the FSLabs A320 and the Aerosoft CRJ when I had them installed on my HDD (Addons folder). Their installers however let me choose another path and I installed them on my P3D SSD just outside of the P3D main folder. Is there any way with the Maddo…

Hi all, I'm sure this question has been asked before, but essentially: Is there a way of exporting GPS data from P3D and feed this into my iPad, to use as it's current location? I know there are apps like Foreflight which do something similar, but would love to get the moving map functionality on the Jeppesen FD app I've got installed on the iPad. Thanks!

A word of warning. Do not go anywhere trying to install this set of Airports from this developer. Bought it ages ago from Just Flight when it was first released for FSX. Checked it was in fact updated to v4 on Just Flight, so re-downloaded and thought okay to install in latest P3D. What a disaster! Completely screwed up a perfectly working P3D v4.3.29 set-up. No amount of Repair re-installation of P3D could rectify the disaster DD Polish Airports 1 caused. Talk about a pain in........

Here I am again with yet another strange problem that not that many people have had. After installing FSLabs and going back to PMDG 737, my throttles are controlling the rudder and I have no clue as to why. I've checked everything is FSUIPC and Prepar3d and nothing is out of whack. Has anyone had this happen before? Thanks.

im using both ENVTEX and ASCA, and i know they can provide dynamic sky texture, i cant make it work. in the past i installed set of textures from the library and since then, it seem like it doesn't matter what im doing, i cant get the dynamic sky again, what i can do to make it work? and if both ASCA and ENVTEX are dynamic, who is responsible for sky ?

I have the GUIMBAL CABRI G2 and the glass creates a tint to the scenery. Is there a way to edit so it's clear? Thanks

Hey all! Thinking about getting a DC-9 to fly around, but I've been hearing that the SkySim DC-9 is a flaming pile of garbage. Now I know the Coolsky DC-9 is in the process of being updated for P3Dv4. When it comes out, what will the feasibility of a merge be? I'm interested in all of the variants, but the systems of the DC-9. I've had some success with the Aerosoft CRJ/Wilco CRJ-1000 and the CS/Default C-130. Anyone tried the DC-9 Merge in FSX? Their website is down and their Dash is broken. Anyone had an issue where basic controls suddenly - SUDDENLY - stop working ? This has become VERY irritating ! All controls for my Saitek X52 Plastic - erm, I mean Pro - are disabled in the sim )P3D v4), and FSUIPC is set to ignore them, as usual. Been working fine for ages, and recently - nada ! CPAM is calibrated and seems to be working, but in the cockpit, nothing is moving.... no yoke nothing.

Hi all I was hoping if someone could shed some light on a problem I am having. This morning whilst firing up my sim, I was greeted with the dreaded 'generating scenery files index' freeze on 88% after installing ESSA. I uninstalled and of course the problem persisted. I used an addon organiser which showed me two folders that had incorrect paths. These two folders were FTXAU38_CUSTOM and FTXAU48_CUSTOM located in the FTX_AU folder which is located in the main ORBX folder (I do not own ORBX Australia and I can't remember if this folder is part of ORBX Libraries or FTX Global). I have P3DV4.3 on my 1tb evo E: drive, I have my operating system installed on my C: drive, I know P3D installes files onto the C drive as well, unfortunately I had to reset windows 10 and now have a blank C drive. I was was wondering if its still possible to uninstall P3d thus deavtivating it without having to go through the the hole licensing process and waiting days for a new password. Paul Dhanjal

hello i just bought the Fly Tampa boston rebooted and installed it but when i load it up the scenery loads but the aircraft loads underneath the runway and im not allowed to use the taxiway or runways im stuck underground in need of a resolution Thanks guys

Installed Prepar 3D V4.3 and nothing but problems from day 1. About to request a refund 😞 Anyway this has started showing up now. I've got a brand new high powered laptop. I have just recently purchased Prepare 3DV4.3 and have copied my QW787 Flight plans from my FSX-SE to my QW 787 Flight plans folder. All is oK I can access these flight plans from the stored flight plans in the FMC. However, in Prepare3DV4 when I compile a new Flight Plan in the FMC and save it, the flight plan does not go into the stored flight plans folder. I have 2 other friends with Prepare 3DV4 who have the same problem with saving their compiled flight plans. I have searched every where in the Prepare 3DV4 folder and cannot locate my flight plans.
