Howdy: I've been enjoying Aerosoft's CRJ. But does anybody know of a way to add a speed hold cheat to the airplane? I only ask because sometimes I'm taken away from the sim by other household situations so this cheat would help the flight progress until my return to the computer. I've asked in the Aerosoft forums but I think it's a long shot. Thanks for the help!

Hello, Does this aircraft's installation method allow for the new LM addon.xml method?? Or does it use the legacy FSX method to install the aircraft? I'm trying to get my aircraft established with the new .xml method, but want to ensure there aren't any problems with the airbus in this type setup. Thanks, Mike

hi as title shows when i open task manager click on performance tag it shows only 3 cores and 6 logical processors i have 8700k cpu and i am sure with HT enabled it always showed 6 cores and 12 logical processors checked in bios and it says 6 cores/12 logical just updated bios to 1602 on an rog maximus x hero but i am getting same information in task manager i would appreciate any help on this matter as i have never seen this before hope someone out there could enlighten me please

I am experiencing an issue that I never had in V4.2. When I am near any addon airport I get a 1 to 2 second pause while the airport loads. This occurs when I am flying over an airport as well. For example, while flying from KSAN to KSFO I was near KMRY at FL210. I received the pause. I have a 4G 32" monitor. Using 29.5 FPS limiter and 1/2 refresh rate through NV Inspector. I have used many different AM settings and adjusted nearly every setting within the sim. It happens with PMDG and other quality addon planes. I even reverted back to a previous driver hoping to eliminate the problem. I get great FPS (limited as stated) and the overall flight is very smoot…

This morning I set up a flight in P3D v4.2, and then selected my 737 for the flight. As soon as I selected the aircraft, P3D crashed to desk top. I rebooted my computer and tried again, with the same result. Any ideas? Thank you

Hey guys, We all know that we go around and around trying to get the smoothest possible experience in the sim. After months of tweaking and trying different things to get the sim optimized, I think I finally solved my problems, After watching a video on process lasso, I had removed P3D from cores 0 and 1. For the longest time I couldn't figure out why I was getting high rates but horrible stutters every second or so. I decided to place P3D back on ALL cores. This did the trick. I would imagine you could do this through the task manager as well. I think from there is where you can start tweaking your settings and bringing on more detail as you see fit. …

Dear all, I have my current system specifications at my signature below, I am getting sick and tired of OOM with FSX and seriously thinking about moving to P3D. Now, Would my computer specifications run P3D even on average 15-20FPS or something? The same I am getting with FSX now? I have all the complex add-ons. I’m not sure what’s going on, but at several of my airports, I have witnessed my UTL AI traffic buzz the runway at 500ft instead of landing and then going missed approach. I have P3Dv4.3 installed. I can’t say I remember this happening in v4.2.... has anyone else seen this?

Can anyone recommend the low level and high level clouds texture sets for REX Skyforce. Still not sure which two represent the best combination of cloud textures.

I have had Drzewiecki New York airports V1 for about four years. It was installed in FSX on my old computer running Win7 and worked fine. I recently got a new computer running Win10. I installed FSX and my USA add on sceneries but when I went to KLGA runway 31 is mostly under water. I went into slew mode and raised the aircraft to about 25 ft altitude and the runway then appeared. I am running the same other add-ons including FTX Global OLC N America I had on my old computer. I have tried KLGA without FTX loaded but no difference. It only seems to be this runway that is the problem everywhere else on the airport is on dry land. Does anyone have any ideas how I …

After days of adjusting this setting and that setting and getting fairly upset with V4 stutter I thought maybe it could be a refresh rate issue so I went into the Nvidia control panel refresh section and set rate from 60 to 59. I was happy to see that most of my stutters were gone. I also set fps at 20 which also helps. So if you have stutters try different refresh rates and see how it goes. Also just changing the refresh rate for the game did not help,,it has to be universal and set in the Nvidia control panel.

Did everything as per the book, yet on climb-out out of LEPA, after reaching around 3000 ft AGL one minute the A/THR engages when pressed, then the next minute AP1 also does likewise, then the AP button of its own drops out with not a single touch of the Logic3 PRO joystick, and then the aircraft goes into a sharp stall mode and no matter what forward movement I make with the joystick, it will not snap out of the stall. I have got pretty fed-up posting about this in the FSL Forums, so thought might try seeing if anybody here who has this variant has a solution. Prepar3d Scenario has white screen on vehicle selection. I can select a plane but the block where the planes picture show, remains all white. If I select an aircraft, airport, weather all loads but ends up in a totally black screen. I just installed Prepar3d v4 today. Installed ORBX scenery, Chase Plane and A2A C-172. Uninstalled C-172 to see if that made difference, no luck.

Hi guys, I was a FS Navigator big fan for years until it wasn't anymore developed. I today see lot of posts about flight planners or chart viewers for P3D like EFB V2.0 but almost never about FS Tramp, which is FS Nav successor. Why? Is it because of the yearly pricing? I for one 100% agree to pay every year for such a fantastic program because I can't think of flying without. But I can imagine the price is discouraging lot of users. As it says in the title. I've tried both enabling and disabling the elevation correction in FTX Vector, I've reinstalled it, and still all I get is a blank defauly scenery tarmac. Anyone know what might be the case here? Here's a picture of what the KBUF scenery looked like today when I flew in from KTPA.

When I fire up AS 2016, instantly in the foreground of its interface, I get an error message about ASConnect Log does not appear to be enabled, and it then goes to an Error dialogue box, and AS2016 then closes down by itself. What is causing this? A brand new install. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Hi fellas, Have any of you been able to install the Realair Duke v2, the original one with piston engines, into Prepar3D v4? I used all the info I could find in the thread about installing the Turbine Duke in the sim. With this info I was able to install my Lancair Legacy into the sim succesfully. So I also installed the piston Duke in a Prepar3D Addons folder in My Documents and I added the appropriate info to the addon.cfg file and the add-on.xml. I replaced the original soundgauge with the 64-bit file. The aircraft appears in the sim, however, unlike with the Legacy, I cannot get my Duke gear and flap sound active. Any ideas what I'm missing?

Hello, I haven't played p3d v4 in a while and I start it up and I am getting 10-20fps in the default F-22 on the ground at a default airport. I deleted everything p3d created and reinstalled it and its nothing still the same with default settings its fine but when I go for my normal settings it just dumps my frames. Hi, I'm having this issue of screen freeze but I can still hear the sound as normal along with atc, fortunately I can still save the flight and restart the sim again. I did not add any addons before this issue starts, so I was suspecting is it more with the windows update or gpu driver updates. So far the only troubleshooting I did is uninstalling the p3d and removing the p3d folders in %appdata%, %LOCALAPPDATA%, and %PROGRAMDATA%. I did uninstall the gpu driver using the DDU and reinstall it but the issue still persists. I see some same issues on the forum but none of them worked for me. My specs P3d v3, i7-7700k 4.2, 1051ti, 8gb so far the addons I'…

Hi, This is another one of those does affinity work or not questions but I'm getting some performance gains with the following and I would like someone else out there to test this theory for me just to see if its just me. I run P3D from a batch file as I also run AS, ASCA, Projectfly, Chaseplane and Trackhat all at the same time as the sim is running, so I wrote a batch file to fire all these programs off on one click. Is anyone else experiencing this same weird issue of when using AivlaSoft's V2 EFB, it screengrabs a piece of the centre of the screen, be it an aircraft's cockpit view, or the centre of any current active screen and displays it for more than 30-40seconds? Is it a bug in AivlaSoft's latest EFB?

Hey all, Never been sure what to do when PFPX generates a flight plan warning that says (for example) "Altitude at 'FQF' (8,000 ft) is below grid MORA (12,001 ft)." I've never had an issue flying plans with these warnings, but what do they actually mean and is there a way to correct them?
