Hello guys n Girls I have just locked up my P3Dv4.3 for the third time. I have added a freeware airport (YBWW) through the Add Scenery in the Scenery Library, restarted P3D and it locks up on restart. ie I just get the initial opening screen. I cannot figure out where the Scenery Library is, in order to delete the offending item. Previously I have uninstalled and then reinstalled P3Dv4.3 including all my ORBX stuff and one Payware aircraft This basically takes me a whole day. About two days I had bought p3d I got weird patches of night textures/water textures on land/on water. At that point, the only addons I had were the two orbx demos for Iceland and South America, as well as RD’s tomatoshade preset. I uninstalled the two demo sceneries, and re-installed the game. After that, it was fixed. I had the same problem today, about 4 days after the first issue, I had it again. This time all I had was RD’s Tomatoshade preset and the PMDG 777. Only orbx thing I had is libraries. I’ve tried disabling orbx, the shader, restarting my pc each time, no difference. Can someone please help? I hope it’s not RDs preset because it’s great, I’m just clueless at…

I can’t find where to do this.....Neither is present in the Windows delete program section, in the just flight files and nothing obvious anywhere in p3dV4. Short of deleting the “aircraft “ folder itself is there something I’m missing? I simply can’t find an uninstall for either anywhere. Thanks for any help. Dave

While I'm waiting to get the ability to post in the LatinVFR forums, I was wondering if someone might be able to help me with this runway lighting issue at KMIA. I've played around with various settings buy have not figured out how to get the "spiky" lighting to go away.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just updated to 1.2 but it seems it has messed up my A/T response and the FMC spd in VNAV. No matter what you put on the VNAV CRZ page, or the CI , it keeps slowing down. This is straight and level cruise flight. Even going to SPD mode, there was no response from the throttles. Disconnecting and reconnecting throttles did not resolve it. Thrust control panel is on CRZ. Finally resolved my speed my selecting CON which is wrong. Continuous max thrust would in reality send me into an overspeed quite quickly, yet in this mode, it was responding to my VNAV or spd mode of .80 The CLB thrust control panel worked fine climbing and used FLCHG and V/S. Hello everyone, I hope you can help me, since the last security update of win 10 was installed, the boot of my sim has become interminable, Previously it took between 1 and 2 minutes and now from 25% of load it takes almost 6 minutes , I have tried to uninstall the update and it remains the same I can not reduce the load time, I appreciate año help, thank you very much

I saw a thread a while back, but can't find it now. I was wondering if anyone knew the coordinates for the MJC8's front door so that jetways can connect to it. And, if anyone knows if there is a way/or are plans for SODE jetways to connect to it?

My google search skills are not the best, but I’ve tried to find what v3 graphics settings correspond to v4 settings. I know that v4 adds a ton more detail, but would love to see an apples to apples comparison to each setting. My PC is getting long in the tooth and I ran v3 very well, and I’d like the same performance in v4, with the added benefit of no more OOM’s. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Ron

Just curious if there has been any updates on the 3 upcoming versions of ORD in terms of release dates, etc. The FSdreamteam one looks pretty polished but I can’t seem to find anything other than “2018”

I’m using P3Dv4.1. I looked for an SPAD.neXt Forum here on AVSIM, but didn’t find one. I know this isn’t the SPAD.neXt Forum, but some folks here seem to know a bit about it (and I’m awaiting and answer on the SN Forum). When I try to assign a profile to aircraft, neither the A2A C172 or Carenado C172 Floatplane show up as options to select. Anyone know how to fix that? Thanks.

Using Samsung Odyssey, whenever I switch to VR with the Majestic Q400, PMDG 737NGX, or Aerosoft 'bus I lose sound. Not with the Maddog, however. This is P3D4.3 native VR.

I never noticed this in FSX but I've noticed this at several stock airports in P3D 2.4 that the taxiways disappear into the ground mesh. They don't flicker or reappear any advice on how to fix this? Thanks.

Hi Guys Have a strange anomaly with P3D v4.3 in as much the FSLabs A320 loads fine in certain regions but fails to load in others. In Europe it loads OK but in USA and Canada no deal. I have posted at FSlabs and it was suggested the the wxstationlist.bin file in the app data roaming might be the culprit, I did delete this to no avail. Thinking this maybe a scenery problem I have re-installed the default P3D scenery, also uninstalling all Orbx scenery in FTX Central an UTX USA and Canada, still the A320 refuses to load in the USA and Canada. I recently bought ORBX KSAN for v4.3. I had LatinVFR running but thought Orbx was a little more up to date. I couldn't find LatinVFR in Add or Remove and there wasn't an uninstaller. I installed Orbx through FTX but couldn't remove LatinVFR in the sim. It was greyed out. So my question is, how do I know if Orbx or Latin is installed and if Latin, how do I remove it successfully? In the scenery library in the sim, Latin Lib (where I assume KSAN sits) is above latin SAN. I just want to make sure only Orbx is running. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

This is at cruise altitude: Running FTX Global and Vector and ENVTEX/ENVSHADE. Is it something with DX10? If so how do I fix it?

I have been using P3D v4.2 for several months now without any issues. Yesterday, I tried to plan a flight using the P3D flight planner, but when I pressed "save" nothing Happened. After a few minutes, I hit "save" again, and the program closed down on its own. This was intriguing, so instead, I just loaded a flight at the departure airport, and knowing many of the waypoints along the way, I programmed the FMC and P3D worked perfectly normal. After the flight I restarted P3D and again tried to save a flight plan, and it failed again. Dear all, I have large white squares when flying over oceanic airspace. I did not have this issue before in P3D v4.2... Any ideas what may be causing it? Hello everyone Few days ago I bought prepare3d v.4.3 Academic, all went well until I start to flight with the F-22 and other default airplanes, just to do a test. I selected the F-22 and do a test flight (even because is the "default" airplane which compares in the menu so for a question of practicality I chose it), however the simulator starts in the cockpit of F-22 with 100-120 fps, but when I switch other views camera by pressing the key "S" fps drop at 6-7,and sound goes away. Also with sound off my fps go to 100-120. The other aircraft such as king air 350, baron 58, unlike the F-22, start in the cockpit with very low fps, the only airplane that…

This really surprised me. I understood that with P3D, then nVidia Inspector was not only no longer required, but was detrimental to the sim. After watching a recent YouTube vid, I thought I'd give it another go... Although my monitor won't do 60htz, I'm now using Inspector set at 29.5fps and 1/2 refresh rate. The results are excellent and I'm well pleased. Its definitely considerably smoother that when set to either locked or 30fps in the sim.

I've recently enjoyed flying some of the complex sims from PMDG, Captain Sim, FSLabs, etc. and I was curious if most of you buy the expansions for those craft or stick with just the base package. Do the expansions add enough to justify the extra money, or would you rather buy an extra airport? Thanks for the input!

Hi Quick question; is there a way of assigning a key to increase the sim rate, and then a key to decrease it. In my P3D it says R has been assigned, but my R doesn't do anything on its own - how do I get it to work? Thanks. Gaz

Hi all, I'm flying on the SkySim DC-9, updated to P3D v4.x. Since the COolSky DC-9 is ont this way, and since I'm not satisfied with the SkySim one, would you suggest me to purchase the CoolSky package, when updated to v4.3 and let in the hangar the SkySim one? Thanks for any suggestion, Fulvio

Hi all, I am using CS 757 iii and I am not able to exceed 25 fps with this aircraft although I am able to stay with my frames locked at 30 with other complex aircraft (see in my sig). I cannot exceed 25 fps even at cruise. So after a hard a decision 😀 I decided it's time to compromise on my P3D v4.3 settings. I started a flight in LatinVFR KMIA with ORBX Global/LC/Trees, UT Live, Active Sky & FFTF Dynamic as I wanted to do my tests in a relatively heavy scenario. Hello all, I’ve recently watched a JustPlanes World Air Routes video on the EuroAtlantic 767 of a flight between Lisbon & Sao Tome. It was absolutely fantastic.
