When I pressed ok my game wouldn't load and it would say p3d has stopped working. I then restarted my PC and now my game loads up fine? What could have been the problem? Anyone else have this issue?

Are any of these known issues that cause problems(especially causing stuttering even with high fps 50fps+)with Prepar3d v4? * FSUIPC5's auto saves being re-loaded several times a gaming session *Prepar3D' sim's(from drop down menu) SIMULATION SPEED INCREASE from 2x to 8x used alot of the times with loaded FSUIPC saves and regular long flights. * Areosoft's new Airbus 318-319 Professional for PD3v4 I have made this a separate post in the hope that someone else has experience with these situations.

Hello, I know there are so many of these topics, but I am searching for a wright answer for days now, and can't find any. I am willing to make te step from FSX to P3D v4, but I am not sure if my PC is able to run P3D with all the texture add ons that I want to add to it (PMDG, REX, ORBX, airport addons etc). I do meet and exceed the minimum requirements P3D advice on their website, butnot the recommended, so that makes me a bit insecure. Hello All! I just upgraded to a GTX 1080 TI and I am still getting blurries. I've cleared my shadders and still getting blurries. Also, card is only using 60% power, why not 100% ti give me more frames? Thanks for your help!

Hi! I downloaded all the liveries and aircraft and I have them installed into my FSX folder, im seeing the add-on aircraft but not the liveries anyone have any ideas how I can see the liveries? also my operation manager only open randomly if I click and go into my windows files, usually it opens but sometimes any ideas on that fix too?

I am aware that the product information for ORBx Innsbruck states that FTX Global Base or FTX Global OpenLC Europe is required to use it. However, I also know that I can use the ORBx UK airfield packages without having FTX England installed. Bearing that in mind, do any AVSIM members use FTX Innsbruck in P3D without the FTX Global products?

Just grabbed this awhile ago. I've read the whole manual. I know the real plane will fairly violently pitch up if you overspeed in order to slow down, but mine is violently pitching up any time I disengage alt-hold in the .70 and up mach range. And it automatically selects attitude-hold, which I suspect is contributing to the problem. Anyone have this bird and know why it does this? The problem doesn't happen when, for example, I disengage the autopilot on approach, so that suggests it's not just a control problem. I am getting this warning message when I run Sode v1.6.3: [P3Dv4] Old Sode entries detected in exe.xml, dll.xml and simobjects.cfg at ProgramData location! Platform manage will now try to remove these entries How can I correct this. I have uninstalled and re-installed SODE but with no joy. P3Dv4.3 is installed on my drive designate as "E". Can anyone offer any help? I wanted to attach a screen shot image but cannot figure out how to do it Thanks Dom

I generated the following flight plan on Simbrief for KLAX to RJTT (Tokyo) SUMMR1 MCKEY LIBBO BRINY BOARS AMAKR LINUZ NATTE ZANNG 50N140W 53N150W 54N160W CURVS 53N180E CARTO G344 CUTEE G344 KALNA OTR5 PABBA Y886 DAIGO Y10 STONE CREAM I can load that flight plan into P3d4, but as soon as I go to start the flight, the system lags for about 30 seconds and then crashes to desktop with a facilites.dll error report in event viewer. I haven't had much time to really look into it, but I'm wondering if this is because the flight plan is too detailed for p3d to handle, or if it's because I generated it using AIRAC 1809 (the current one) and P3D doesn't know about so…

Hello, I have been using PFPX since it's release a few years back and never had a problem with it. I have noticed lately that when I export the plan to my P3Dv4.3 and to my AS for P3Dv4, the waypoints are totally different from the one exported. I have no idea why that is. Anyone else having this problem? I run it as Administrator. Anyone know how I can fix it? Thank you, Pablo Vazquez

Any documentation about if REX Sky Force 3D or REX Worldwide Airports HD causes any problems with PD3v4 especially in the fps or stuttering department?

Hey everyone , So I finally got my new PC for P3D , and yeah it's my first time using P3D ! But unfortunately I can't get complete my joy yet as the sim doesn't looks good at all due to flickering/shimmering all over the place due AA + poor FPS if I used SSAA with DL as well It's an hard equation I know so I thought of no place other to go than AVSIM 😄 BTW , here is quick a look at my specs = I5 8600k ( not overclocked ) Asus GTX 1060 OC edition HyperX 16 GB 2400 MHz ram my screen currently is a 1080P 60Hz TV , it's a cheap one so any suggestion to get some juice ?

I don't know if this is a compatibility issue or if it's with the P3D simulator. I'm running the latest version of the Prepar P3D version 4.3 and I'm using the Microsoft Force Feedback 2. I've always use the joystick with the Force Feedback turned off via the simulator and all boxes unchecked. When flying using FSX and with the force feedback turned off, there is no spring action and the joystick moves smoothly without any resistance as it should be. But when I fly using the P3D, there is this spring action with my joystick even though I have the force feedback turned off in the sim. Hello, I picked up FlyChrono for P3D V4.3 to keep my time live all the time, but when I load in a flight, it will re-load to the proper time, then after 10 or so seconds the loading screen will pop up again and the loading bar will get stuck at 24%. I assume this is FlyChrono initially syncing the time ( the first re-load screen is okay), but after, it immediately re loads (to re sync my sim every second to real world time.) Any reason why it's doing this and if there a way to fix it? I have found no other posts regarding this issue. Any tips would help! Thanks.

I am using Prepare 3DV4.3 Windows 10 64GB Ram NVIDIA 6GB Video card 500GB SSD card Gigabyte Gaming Motherboard 1200Watt Power I have compiled a flight plan in the QW787-9 FMC, then I went to the INDEX then to INIT/REF and clicked on SAVE FLP. Next the FMC issues a message that the Flight Plan has been saved, However, it has not been saved at all, I checked the QW787 Directory where the flight plans should have gone, but they were NOT there. When I had FSX-SE and QW 787 installed, I had no trouble at all to compile a flight plan and save it, also I could retrieve it from the REQUEST menu in the FMC. Has anyone got this pro…

A couple of days ago I purchased the Flight1 King Air product For P3Dv4.3. After doing so I opened up the aircraft for a test spin and noticed that even on my beefy system, my frames were all of the sudden notchy and frequent pauses in between frames. I thought it was understandable as this is a study level aircraft so I didn’t think anything of it. The day after I installed it, I decided to uninstall the product just to see if it was that aircraft really causing the issue but even after uninstalling my frames are still notchy. But the thing is, they were butter smooth before the product was on my computer. The king air changed something but idk what it messed with. Any h…

So it seems like, whatever airport I'm at, whatever plane I'm using, when I call a fuel truck using shift+f it comes about half way to me and stops. It very rarely comes to my plane. I noticed this in FSX:SE as well before I switched to P3D. I'm using P3D v4.3 now and I have noticed it in previous versions of P3D as well. I think boxed FSX was the only sim I remember not having this problem. Same problem on two different PCs even. Does anyone else have this issue? Anyone know if there is a fix the user can do or is it some bug that only LM can take care of? Many thanks for any input on this.

Hi guys. I have a question regarding settings in the sim with this. I have Ground Environment Prepar3D World Edition, UTX USA and UTX Europe. Are there any settings that i must pay attention to? Like overkill when the setting is too high? I read through both manuals and there is nothing mentioned about settings in P3D at all. Just trying to find a nice balance without over taxing the system 🙂 Regards Mike

Hi everyone, Recently I installed Seattle X by Drewzecki and upon doing a flight I noticed that in my P3Dv4 main folder has 3 runway files and I find this a bit odd. I am wondering if anyone has such files like I have. I know they are of 3 data type, but I am curious. Is there any other offerings other than ORBX LOWI innsbruck about? I have had a search and the only other one is only for FSX by Aerosoft. I'm after a nicely detailed rendition of the airport. Regards

I've just updated to the 4.3 client and successfully applied a Tomato Shade preset (bright) without error, But when I open the reflection maker to install reflections on either aircrafts (PMDG 737, 777 etc), it comes up with the error: "model not identical, The profile was saved for a different version of this model and might not be compatile with the local one. Do you want to continue importing the profile? It might results in a faulty rendered model. " If I press yes, the aircraft comes out all black, even on all slider settings for dynamic reflections within P3D. Any clues to what may be causing this? I have the latest version of …

Alright I need some solid expert help here. I got V4.3. Im Running -GTX1080 -Intel I7 -27" UHD Display I feel like I have a pretty good setup and the AA in my sim is killing me. Jagged/Blurry edges especially on runways. To Use NI or Not? Im hearing so many mixed things. Played with all kinds of settings and cant for the life of me see any improvement. Ill even take the help of someone who want to teamviewer in. I just need a second set of eyes on this. Also from tower view, getting flashing/shimmering textures.

Hi all, Is there any available working scenery for LEMD -Madrid P3dV4 ? If not is there any plans to have it? I used to fly the old FSX Aerosoft but that is aging now. For sure there might be something , MKStudios are working on LPPT !

Running P3dv4. Anyone using UK2000 Heathrow now its version 4 compatible? Is it worth it or should I wait for Aerosoft's update on theirs?
