Hi all and sorry for my english I'm still a FSX user but I'm thinking about switching to p3d. There are several licenses on the manufacturer's website. I am asking for a hint which version to choose for the purposes of private use analogous to that of FSX? Best regards Grzegorz

Hi. Most of my flights are with the NGX and occasionally long haul with the QW787. Since I installed the FTX Global Airport Pack, I have been wanting to explore new places. In the past, I have liked flying a couple different types of flights. I like flying in Alaska and northern Canada - particularly from larger commercial airports to smaller airports. Still, I like some of the more remote airports, and I'm particular interested in great scenery and interesting weather. In contrast, I also like flying in the Caribbean and other tropical areas, but for the same reasons - great scenery and interesting weather. I thought I remembered someone starting a sticky post for posting which FSX aircraft work in P3D v4, freeware and payware. Is that list somewhere in this site, or maybe another site? Thanks Howard

Hey guys so I just switched to ht off on my i74790k at 4.7ghz runninig pretty well thou which cores can i assign my addons such as asp4 Asca etc so it stays of the sim? sorry if it is a stupid question still confused about all this

I think my system is not too bad, but I am still suffering from black scenery/autogen textures. When I am approaching at congested areas (NY. Miamia, Bacelona ORBX/Aerosoft, ....), I see black textures for quite a while before they get completely loaded. I could not find any setting to make those black textures to disappear faster or even better not to show up at all. Is this issue more CPU or more GPU dependent? Do I need a better CPU or a better video card. Or is there perhaps a setting that I missed to adjust? Thanks.

Latest P3Dv4 with 1080 ti graphic card in use lowers textures each time I go into graphics settings and then back out. Example,,,select plane,,go into graphics select 4096x4096,,, go back out see plane,, go back into graphics settings and find the texture has lowered to 2048x2048 so go back out to plane,,,back in graphics settings again to see the texture has again lowered to 1024x1024 and so on until lowest texture is reached 256x256. It will not hold any texture setting,,what is going on? FSX does not do this..happens with any plane including stock aircraft. Tried setting in config and saving but still happens.

Hello allI was wondering if anyone knows a way to do LPV-approaches in P3D using A2A aircraft. I am aware og the GTNs from Flight1 and RXP. But the navdata of these addons cannot be updated, making them less useful for flying online. Does anyone of you have any good suggestions?ThanksChristian Lerche

I am sure this has been discussed before but after checking out flights on Flightradar24 for a while it (again) occured to me that in real life no one seems to fly SIDs or STARs. It's almost all straight out, make a turn and on you go, or all straight in, depending on where you are coming from. Not once could I find and recognize a SID or STAR on FlightRadar24. When I fly in P3D with ProATC in Norway I 'have' to fly each and every SID and STAR from A to Z, often making odd detours which take a lot of time. P3Dv4.3 on Win10 Professional - Installed version 1.9 which automatically placed the folders and the Libraries in the FlyTampa folder in the sim root directory. Inside each folders there is an addon.xml file, that covers folders such as AI ships, World, Effects, etc. Then created 2 folders one for Libraries and another for StMaarten in the Documents\Prepar3D Addon folder and moved each addon.xml to the respective folder.. After starting the sim and selecting StMaarten it loads up to 100% then the sim just disappears, with no error messages. Seeing that the scenery and Library are being read by the sim on start up when it requests permission to load, what could …

I don't understand why it is I keep getting this content error message every time I close P3D. As soon as I close the sim, I get this message: Content errors have been detected. See the log. A few seconds after I've closed the program, I get this message: Prepar 3D exe has stopped working Windows can check online for a solution to the problem 1. Hello, I've had my computer for more than two years and in my last couple of flights, texture loading has deteriorated as time progresses. I have not made any changes to my system. Everything was fine during takeoff, climb, and cruise, but the problem began around descent each time. I made this landing video of my most recent flight to demonstrate. The blurring is very evident on the terrain textures. At the bottom of the video, I pasted my p3d.cfg file, in case that helps. Also, my specs are listed under my signature. Hi Guys, I have attached a link to the screenshot, I am getting this type of strange red textures around the lights when I turn on Beacon and Strobe lights on all Aerosoft's aircrafts. They appear on all Aerosoft Airbus' aircrafts and all TDS aircrafts(here on NAV lights). But on default P3D v4.3 and PMDG aircrafts it does not appear. Hello, when launching P3D v4 GSX isin't working and I can't get up the menu by pressing Shift + F12. It also dosen't show up in the addon menu in the top. This happened after downloading the latest installer of GSX. I am not using GSX level 2. I have tried to install with anti virus off but it didn't work. Help is really greatful.

Hi everyone, I flew the F-27 with the new Brummer yoke today into KTUL. A really great flight and i love the new yoke. all went well until i took the taxiway to the terminal. Delta and Southwest were there [TrafficGlobal] but the jetways were on top of the buildings. I don't have any freeware or payware for Tulsa, and never flown there before. Any ideas how I can fix this? Ruined a perfectly good flight. Thanks

During the last few flights I notice massive blurries forming in the scenery below, I never had this before especially after upgrading to a 8700K CPU. Then I noticed that the issue probably lies on the CPU, since one and/or more cores are stuck at 100% load (which again never happened before, I always used P3D v4.3 with much lower CPU load). The process that is using this huge load of CPU is Prepar3D.exe itself, and I don't remember having changed anything except for the update of GSX (I haven't bought the new release, but had to update it anyway since it was being requested by the live update program). Ok got the new A2A plane (love it!) and went to put my Flight 1 GTN 750 in place but, of course, it did not work,,needs an update or something. So after searching for Flight 1 account info I downloaded it again and went to reinstall. It did not install telling me I must have changed P3D location and not changed the registry..I went to the registry and it showed the correct location I have for P3D and yet the install insist I do not have that correct...so no GTN 750. Flight 1 has made this process almost a chore not worth doing so now I thinking of getting the Reality XP version and wonder if anyone here has it and how do you likes it compared to the Flight 1 nightmare.…

Hi I can not drag the PFD of the pilot, from the PMDG cabin, to my screen. All the other panels were drag without any problem.I have the Prepar3D 4V and PMDG 737-800 Any idea on how can I fixe this issue. Rgds Daniel Gamboa

My Prepar3D doesn´t work since I installed the PMDG 737-800 The first time I started (pmdg) it wokrs but with no instruments, all switches,etc, were not working. Then when I marked as my default airplane the P3D stoped working. What could be the problem? Thanks

I've been running my system now for over 2 years. only upgrade I have done is the HDD which is now an m.2 960 pro. i7 6700k 4.5 Ghz OC GTX 1080 Asus Z170 Deluxe 64GB 3200 mhz P3D is what I base by builds on..... not sure if any of the new processors have given any major advantage.

Hi all, As I am involved into the discussion about "autogen loading late and in patches" in the official LM Forums, I really wondered if this is something limited to some systems only (due to whatever reason) or if this is really an intrinsic bug of P3Dv4.x that simply not everybody is aware of (which I can hardly believe...). That's why I created this poll, I am simply interested in the current situation. So, plz. participate in the poll :-) If you do not observe this autogen loading in patches, it would be nice if you post your autogen settings and whether or not you use limited FPS, HT, AF, FFTF.
