I have now got my new Thrustmaster T 16000M joystick set up and working. (I installed the driver that came with it). However, it has had some unforeseen and unwanted consequences. Firstly, the Mouse scroll wheel didn't work anymore. I resolved that by enabling advanced mouse controls in the Other Controls box. The other problem is that I now have a selection to choose from in the boxes where you set buttons and axes. Whereas it used only to show my old Logitech 3d Pro as the only controller, it now shows: 0 -Mouse yoke, 1-Mouse look, 0- Mouse drag pan and 1 -T.16000M. I can't see a way to set a default joystick. This morning I posted about it at the MFS forum: Resizable BAR ... - Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) - The AVSIM Community Apparently it's not of much use in MFS, which is inherently optimised, and some of the users commented that it's only meant to be used in some programs which are ready to profit from it, and otherwise may even cause disruption, but, I wonder if any of you have tried to use it with P3D, specially starting v5 with DX12...

Since I updated to 5.3 months ago, and now 5.4, I noticed all my AI suddenly park in random locations. I opened up traffic explorer and noticed Al aircraft including my own don't show anything for parking codes, like P3D isn't reading it from any aircraft.cfg. Has anyone ever seen this before? I use AIGFP + some BGL, but realized this probably isn't the issue, in the aircraft.cfg every livery has a parking codes entry, so that's not the issue.

I have the Xtreme Prototypes Lear 25 which I use in P3D v5.3HF2. For planning my flights I have used PFPX for years. It gives me everything I want. Now to the problem which I have to post here as the official forum is now read-only. I planned a flight from Helsinki to Frankfurt. PFPX calculates the distance as 1025nm. I have selected the Fuel Option as No Reserve but have added 750lbs. The fuel calculation comes out at 6,658lbs - 603lbs more than the capacity. But the distance of 1,025nm is a fraction of the max range of 2,000nm in the documentation. Given I have only 2 pax I'm struggling to understand why PFPX thinks the fuel burn is so wrong. To twea…

Happy New Year to all... I have read all of the posts on both P3d forum and Avsim concerning this problem that is plaguing me and a lot of others. None of the sugestions (that have worked for some) are working for me. I get the start-up scenario screen and can do everything on it..i.e. change airport;open options;etc. After hitting the ENTER key,I get the progress bar....then to the BSOD !! I'm having an issue. For some reason after a week on holiday, this just started to happen on my P3D. I've reinstalled the whole client and ran through the hotfix repair option, and it still is doing this. I'm not really sure what to do here, please help, I really do not want to uninstall, reinstall, and reinstall all the add-ons for P3D, because of this. Thanks! Also specs: 3700X, 3070, 32GB RAM

As per thread title, P3D v5.4 starts with the splash screen, automatically loads chaseplane and AIGTC, splash screen disappears and sim minimises to task manager, unable to fly 😞 The only thing I've changed in the past month or so is updated GSX, updated AIG, and uninstalled FSRealtime (yes, it worked with v5), until I got a random runtime error that I could not fix. Anyone else with experience with this issue?

I got AIG for a long time and started having traffic files as *.bgl files. One day AIG introduced the traffic controller and these new *.aigfp files. Since then I had a mix of the two sort of traffic files. Recently I even thought about going back to *.bgl, select this option in the AI Manager and a lot more *.bgl files were added to the folder. But all *.aigfp files remained in the directory. AI Manager did not delete them and i wasn't unsure what to do. Can they be deleted or do I need them for traffic not in *.bgl files? Happy Holidays everyone! I have a question. My ORBX LIBRARY is installed on my Drive C and takes up about 262GB of space. I know that you can have your library on a separate drive than where your P3d resides, and this library has been functioning perfectly on Drive C. However, I'd like to move it to a much larger drive...my Drive X. Drive X is a HDD, not a SSD. Where ORBX is now is on a SSD. Would moving it cause a loss in performance? Is that possible, and how exactly should I do that without causing any scenery or ORBX issues? I'd like this process to be seamless, if possible. Thanks, Stan

I'm confused about this, on Orbx Central it says "for Prepar3D v4" when I look at al Orbx TE scenery. I asked about P3Dv5 compatibility regarding Orbx Regional scenery in the past and the Admin there told me when buying anything on Central, only buy things that actually say they are for P3Dv5 but while browsing Orbx forums after that, I noticed some people mention having Orbx TE working in P3Dv5 just fine. I own a lot of Orbx Regional scenery (the U.K. is all I'm missing) and that all works fine. So is Orbx TE scenery P3Dv5 compatible or isn't it? I'm trying to decide whether to get just all the U.K. Regions or to get TE for all of Great Britain plus the Ireland &…

Hello All. I have just done a complete install of AIG,(don't know why I didn't do it before, it's very good)! Now I have a problem since the installation. I use default atc, and now some of the audio is very slow and robotic but not all. I also use Edit Voice Pack with audio speed up to 75% which sounds good to me. I tried a reinstall of EVP and re ran my preferences,(75%) but no joy. Does anyone have any experience of this and could help resolve the issue. Many thanks in advance. Best regards

Season greetings, folks! My new scenery since two days is Madeira FSX/p3d, and I thought it is a nice idea to walk around the p3d avatar (Shift-Ctrl-E). However, after returning to my cockpit I noticed that the aspect ratio is screwed up: Pressing backspace, not only the view zoomed out to 0.299999, but on top the view is squeezed horizontally. I am pretty sure that using the avatar triggered this. In setting before an after the wide screen tick box is set. It's screwed up independent of bird I am flying: I left an FSLabs A320, but now, loading the Maule at LPMA the same applies. How to fix this? Thanks in advance. …

I have just spent two days figuring out why my P3D5.3 does not launch anymore. I launch the game via SimstarterNG. After numerous trails and tests I nailed the problem to FSLabs control center which tries to give graphic settings advice during the P3D/Simstarter start up process. The interference causes the launch to loop forever. I had their Concorde installed but as it is I had to uninstall 90 euros software. I hope that this company should leave the hardware setting instructions to their manuals and let the user decide what to do.

I have been using Super Traffic Board for several years. Recently, it has been giving false information and I wanted to contact a forum or the suppliers. It seems as if they no longer exist as all the links I found are dead ends. Have they gone out of business, does anyone know? Thanks

Updated today to the latest version of SODE and my ai planes will not connect to sode jetways. i double checked the configuration tool in settings and ai docking is set to true. Any help? p3dv4 thx

Hi all, I am missing streets. Cars appears to drive off road. Attached is a scene from approaching EDDF: Screenshot missing highways (don't be irritated by the shadows at the edges - this comes from my 180 degree warping software) My system: P3D v5, OrbX Global Base, LC, Vector, Germany North, Germany South i9-13900k / RTX4080 My P3D settings: P3D Settings I am sure, I have seen streets before with these settings. I've also resynched ORBX already. I was playing around with Nvidia and AA settings. But I can't imagine, this has something to do with AA or texture filtering. Or does it? Thanks, Michael

HI all, This request is directed at owners of P3D v4 only. Can you locate to two default airports and advise the number of parking positions available please? This is easily done if you have GSX by displaying the menu. CTRL+Shift+F12. Otherwise count the number in the Scenario Airport option. They are KFAT - Fresno, CA and LPPR Porto, Portugal. KFAT has only 5 parking positions in v5 but in v3.4 there are 13 gates and 15 parking positions. LPPR has 5 gates, 5 parking positions and 1 fuel ramp in v5. In v3.4 there are 6 gates and 23 parking positions. Can you advise how many are listed in v4 please? I want to use this info to point out to LM t…

Navigraph 2023 Survey Results P3D is less than 5%; barely above Infinite Flight (never heard of it TBH) and half that of X-Plane. Still using P3D for "legacy" 3d Party (nearly everything for P3D now), but spend more time in X-Plane myself, with MSFS for occasional fun. Each has its purpose for me.

I really do love the FSLabs A320 products….when they work. The depiction of the Airbus aircraft is brilliant, but nevertheless the overall user experience is almost untenable. Constant crashes and myriad bugs in the software makes it so unpleasant to work with. It generally takes an hour or two of repeated trial to get a scenario to load properly. If the scenario does load up correctly, then from that point on it seems very stable and reliable. And it’s not just one issue. It can crash in so many different ways and as the result of so many seemingly innocuous factors. It’s just very difficult to get it to a usable starting state. I don’t know how many others have…

I had to reinstall Jetstream design's Orly scenery tonight and when I did it didn't add the scenery to the library automatically, so I had to add it myself. My question is what is the order of the scenery in the library? Does the airport go above or below the terrain?
