Glad to see there are still developers still bothering to update the P3D decorations. Here's Milan Linate's update from Jetstream.

Like many of you I'm waiting on Detroit (KDTW) by SunSkyJet. The last preview someone did of the airport was several months ago during a live stream during a Vatsim FNO. Their Facebook page hasn't posted anything new in almost a year and all inquires go unanswered. Last word was it was almost complete a year ago. Now its dead silence. So my question is, is this scenery even still coming out? I know Dave was testing it for them at one time. I sure wish a PayWare developer would make it as we defiantly need Detroit scenery.

I got the iFly 737NG and the expansion pack. Installed both successfully with a lot of help from Flight1. Installed the latest service pack, no issues. Load up P3D which asks do I want to use the new addon, to be placed in the cockpit in which all the crts are frozen. At load up the speed is 45 knots. I take off, retract gear & flaps still at 45 knots? Nav, all are frozen. Any ideas?

I close v6.1.19 and get the 'you have an error' close. Open the error to find, [error.0] error=Aircraft was null at the time of calculator request. This is repeated 20 times and ends with two instances of, [error.22] error=Texture "DAMAGE_METALLIC.DDS" failed to load (FE_REQUEST_STATUS==13) Any idea which addon?

Hi dear fellow simmers I've been flying a lot in Brasil recently – there are some really good freeware airports over there, along some very good payware sceneries. Paulo Ricardo's Rio de Janeiro, for example, is a real gem. What I do miss, though, is a good rendition of Sao Paulo Conghonas (SBSP). There is a halfway decent freeware scenery of it, but it has static jetways that I'am unable to remove to add GSX-jetways. Thus, I'm thinking about getting Paulo Ricardo's Mega Sao Paulo pack. That would give SBSP plus the city of Sao Paulo. Before I buy, I have some questions about it: The pack is for FSX. Has anyone of you running it in P3Dv4.5? Does it work? …

Hi all, Im civilian staff at an air cadet sqn, we have two simulators, full fighter jet cockpits with three projectors for each forming the external view. They also have screen in the cockpit for instruments, arranged behind three mfd's which have functioning buttons. We used to run fsx and the f18 super bug, undocking the mfd instruments and placing them behind the displays on the screen. I've just finished upgrading the pc's and installing p3d v5 as an upgrade. Would anyone be able to suggest suitable aircraft to use, which have mfd's or other glass instruments ( presumably 2d?) Which cam be undocked in the same way? Ideally we would want a prop…

Greetings! I recently upgraded to 5.4, no problems. EXCEPT: Pre-loaded flight plans do not "follow the magenta line". The loaded aircraft does not respond to the GPS assignment. For example, I tried tonight to fly from KTTD (Portland Troutdale) to KORS (Orcas Island). I input the pre-defined flight plan at startup and found that it was "visible" in both GPS 1.6 (a great freeware utility, by the way) and in the Navigation drop-down menu in P3D. However, try as I might the aircraft (I tried the Carenado Saratoga, the A2A Bonanza, and the RealAir Duke) failed to recognize and engage the GPS autopilot function. Hi, I would like to use 3 x screens for P3D Cockpit. A 43.4 inch display and 2 x 24 inch displays on the left and right There are a few options that I have tried and am not entirely satisfied with. First, I created a new window using New View and dragged it to the left monitor. But as soon as I create a new window the fps drops by half. Then I did so by dragging Cockpit onto all monitors. FPS is very good here, but everything is stretched. I would like to have a cockpit view that I can see left and right windows. It works quite well in MSFS and without an FPS drop. Hello everyone! Just wanted to see if our developers have come out with any great private jets recently? I love the Xtreme Prototypes LJ25D and the FlySimware FA50EX. Hi, Also posted over at LM forum............... I have tried many times to apply the latest patch V6.1.11 to my V6.1.9 installation but with no success. It goes through all the motions and says it has been succcessful but it is'nt. I am still left with V6.1.9. My installation is in D:/Prepar3d V6/ and the patch installer "sees" it there, says it's going to update it, takes about 15mins or so, reports that it was successful but I'm still left with the old version. I have tried both auto update and manual installation. I have tried "repair" also after successful reporting of patch installation. I am using Admin mode. Complete P3D dir. excluded…

A friend made a nice scenery (KPLN) for P3D and he and I are not sure why the lamp posts at the air do not show in P3D V5.4, they do for me in P3D 4.5 and some other 4.5 users claim they don't see the poles either, just the lamps at the top and look like they are floating in the air. am wondering is there a way to make KJAX airport by cielosim work on V4+ i have installed it but there default scenery bleeding in the terminal is there a way to fix that ? thanks

Hello I am having a major problem with Aerosoft today. After loading up a flight, as soon as I get into the sim I get a CTD. This only happens with Aerosoft aircraft and I have gone to extreme measures to try to solve this. I uninstalled and reinstalled Aerosoft Airbus Professional, P3D, and I even went as extreme as restarting windows from scratch- all with the same result. Please help? Hi Guys, I'm dealing with a terrain elevation issue in P3D and I've got no idea how to solve it, it's for FSimstutio's CYYC. Prior to my reinstall of P3D (switched computers) I had no issues, but now whenever I try to load into the airport it's displaying completely incorrectly. It almost seems like they're multiple layers and the terrain underneath is way off. The Addon CYYC elevation is 3556.995 ft and the default P3D layer is 3605.997. Changing the addon YYC's elevation to the P3D default did not work, or doing vice-versa. It looks odd as the scenery for the airport itself looks to be at the correct altitude and level, but the physical terrain itself suppo…

My ORBX account keeps installing SODE v1.8 which is causing me real problems. Perhaps it’s linked to the GoFlight hardware I use and the Pollypot GIT which relies on SimConnect. With v1.8 if I test the SODE connection via the add-on menu I don’t see any confirmation message banner. With v1.7.1 it’s fine. I don’t know how involved these programs are with SimConnect but I’m struggling to understand how a version update of a reliable program like SODE can cause these issues. If I close P3D it hangs and I have to end task it. No such problems with SODE v1.7.1. I’ve been told to disable “check for updates” in SODE so that hopefully will be the end of things…

Hi to all, strange issue during my latest flights: As soon as I get some 100 nm off the coast for the ocean crossing, the clouds are suddenly deleted and then no more clouds until they reappear again some 100 nm off the coast before reaching land again. Over water clear skies all the time although Active Sky reports differently and when clouds get injected by Active Sky, they appear for a second and then disappear. Have been using Rex Sky Force cloud sync to Active Sky for years and never had a problem, used to have thick clouds and TS all over the globe if reported, didn't change any settings as far as I know.
