A few years back I bought the RXP GTN 750 for both P3D as well as for X-Plane 11 and long story short, my drive that had the sims installed as well as all my add-on installers and documentation got accidentally wiped. This includes the original RXP installers for both sims. At first I figured, ok I can just look up my email receipts and there's probably links in them to download the installers and activation codes, etc.. The problem is I cannot find these receipts anywhere in my emails. I tried searching "RXP" and "Reality XP" in my email service to look it up but found nothing. I honestly can't recall though if I was even given email receipts or how the purchase…

I have Flylogic's Locarno scenery (for P3D v5.4) and I had to reinstall it. The scenery has static aircraft in it and my AI that I have are parking on top of the static aircraft. Does anyone know how to remove the static aircraft? I had the static aircraft removed once before but I forgot how I did it. I did email Flylogic a few days ago asking about removing the static planes, but I haven't heard back from them.

Does anyone have the Black Box A340 and is able to update the AIRAC? Not sure how to update it. My most recent AIRAC is from 2017.

Hi, I noticed a small problem yesterday. My Airport LEMD from Simwings is not displayed in P3D but standard scenery. I also noticed the error in EGLL (also from Sim Wings). I installed both airports as normal and updated them using Aerosoft Updater. Still it doesn't work. Thought maybe a problem with simwings, but EDDM from Simwings is without any problems. In any case, I find it strange why that is the case. Everything is installed and the airports are shown to me in Lorby, but not in Sim. Do you have an idea ? Thanks

When MSFS came out, I thought I was done with P3D. I never ended up loving MSFS. Almost 4 years end and the aircraft choices are just not good. Still no PMDG 777, etc. With space running out on my PC, I had to drop P3D. Santa brought me an additional 4TB for xmas, so I just purchased V6. My previous installs included pretty much every significant add on..... ORBX, PMDG, FSDT, chase plane, Active sky, etc etc etc. So, what are the must have these days? Has anything changed?

On final, I'd like to move up my head to view more of the approaching runway. Shift-Enter works when the throttle is at idle but apparently does not work when the throttle is not on idle. I'm not sure why it doesn't work in P3D v4.5. I'm looking for suggestions or alternative methods.

How does one make the screen full, without the lower task bar? I know that Alt key hides the P3D upper icons, but I would like to get a full screen with flying without the lower task bar.

P3D v5.3HF2. I have GoFlight hardware so use Pollypot GIT to use it with P3D. I also have SimStarterNG to launch several executables to make life easier. One is GIT. GIT doesn't launch until P3D is running and stable. When it does the program connects via SimConnect and all is well. But then something odd happens. A second P3D window opens but is blank and in the title bar says "Not Responding". Even after closing P3D and then SimStarterNG closes those executables including GIT this window remains open. The program is named ConsoleWindowHost and is 1 of 6 applications linked to P3D. The others are ActiveSkyUTils, Couatl, P3D to module data bridge, SODE…

My P3D 5.4 has a chronic problem that I just discovered today. As I have my take off roll set and I am rolling down the runway when I reach a 100kts, simulator froze. I have to use task manager to end it so I can use my computer. This happens with my PMDG 747-400, Drzewiecki Design Tokyo Narita add on, OBRX global base vector, envshade, REX skyforce 3d weather engine on, FS2 crew on at the same time. I have saved my flight at runway entry point and when I load it up for take off and then take off, the problem happens.

I installed a fresh new copy of P3D v5 today followed by a new install of the FSLabs A320. The mouse does not work to control ANY instruments inside the cockpit, tested in particular with simple toggle switches. I am trying to do this from the default views. I have not made any adjustments to eyepoint or seat position. There are no add-ons installed. Everything is about as simple and clean as it gets, “right out of the box”. And no, I don’t have the simulator paused. My mouse is nothing special, just a basic Logitech with a scroll-wheel. With my previous PC i was not able to use multiple screens due to low specs.. but now i upgraded to i9 with RTX4090. I do not want to overact, i just want to use 2 wide screens, one above each other: one high and the second low. Is it possible to obtain settings so the upper screen just shows the (fixed) frontal outside view (airbus) and the low screen i would like to show (mouse-moveable) cockpit of instruments , pedestal etc...

Just installed KJFK V2 from FSDT, after installation, at the gate with FSlabs airbus; beautiful buildings, nice scenery... i do a flight and back to JFK and when landing on RWY, all of the buildings are gone ! Just vanished...only a grey runway, some other acft taxiing, but the airport is gone... any help ?

I'm having a multimonitor setup which every now and then gets obstructed when I go into fullscreen mode, which will result in 1 out of 2 monitors go black and leave me with only the main monitor effective. I then will have to shut P3Dv5.4 down and go into the Prepare3D.cfg file and delete a whole bunch of nonsense in there, that somehow have been created without my approval. However usually happens after I have changed some settings inside one of the P3D dialog boxes. Exactly what happens to the Prepare3D.cfg is, that this particular section will automatically duplicated into the cfg so it now will show up in 2 places which then will screw up my fullscreen view over…

Hi, I'm using P3Dv5.3 on windows 10 and I've noticed a strange issue with my PMDG 737 and 747s when taxiing on the ground before take-off. I get something like a micro-stutter (maybe a long-frame? Heard that expression before) every 2-3 seconds or so. I have my v-sync set in the nVidia control panel to Adaptive (half-refresh rate) on my 60 Mhz monitor to achieve a stable 30 fps in P3D, with v-sync off in P3d and frames set to unlimited. This gives me a stable 30 fps in every other plane (FSlabs, iFly, PMDG 777, CaptainSim, etc.) Weirdest thing about it is that it seems to resolve on landing. Hello, Can anyone suggest the steps i should take to make my P3Dv4 setup aware that i want to be able to make changes to cfg files for example. Currently when trying to save i am unable to do so. I have already made the amendment of running program as administrator but that still doesnt seem to allow me to edit files within P3D. Its installed in program files not program files x86. I think i need to edit the security permissions (if i recall from years and years ago) i just cant recall how to do so. BTW this PC is used by myself only.

I am new to FSET but find making photo scenery interesting option to ORBX Global. Have only one question - when i mark bigger area ( 'area snap' is set to LOD13 ) which consist of more than 1 square, then FSET creates separate BGL files for each square, so for example for bigger piece of land i have 6 BGL's, but P3D5 seems to read only one, ignoring the rest. Any advice from experienced FSET users? - thanks

Hello ….I need your suggestions I switched graphics cards from 1070 GTX 8Gb to 2070 super mini 8gb, for this I uninstalled all the old drivers and installed the new one to support the new card, I have exactly the same settings on P3D v5 and Nvidia and I can tell that I have lower frames with this newer card than my old one on the heavy airports, and I’ve had 2 crash to desktop (this never happened with the old 1070), is the 2070 really bad? Someone gave me their not used 2070 so that was the reason for changing the graphics card. Any suggestions ? Thank you .

Two weeks ago, I installed three Orbx sceneries. The install went fine, and the airports show nicely in the sim but every time I start the sim it asks me to enable the sceneries. Why is this happening? This was 2 weeks ago and P3D is STILL asking me to enable the scenery. I have a lot of other Orbx sceneries to install and because of this I don't really want to install them. I will go crazy if I have to enable all my Orbx sceneries every time I start the sim.

I'm using SLC 1.6.2 in P3D5.4 and the program works quite nicely, but I can't trigger in-flight movies to start. If I hover with the mouse over the movie button it does not react, nor can I press it while all other inflight services can be started anytime (if sufficiently made have been planned before). Can anybody confirm that this is a bug or is it a mistake or wrong setting on my side? Unfortunately I get hardly any support from the developer even after contacting him at least 5 times by email my support requests are ignored.

Hi all, I have a 13900K - recent rebuild. Don't even need to overclock on these new cores as it's already 5.5ghz out the box! Question, in the old days we always used to set affinity masks - I was never certain if it actually did anything or was mere placebo as I tried with and without and rarely saw a difference. What is the recommendation? And what AM should there be for a 13900k? I looked at the affinity mask calculator but it just seems to refer to physical and logical cores but doesn't seem to cater for the scores? Help required! Thanks, James

I'm trying out some RNAV approaches. Last one was: KBFL > RNAV 34 gps LPV > KRDD As I understand it, LPV provides vertical guidance. At the iaf at 3000ft. Iget the "vertical track" audio from my GTN750, buy no descent takes place? I tried the APPR button but that resulted in no descent either. Any help appreciated. Mark

Hello members, I have an issue with the Orbx Base Pack. This is Ganderkesee (EDWQ) and in my there are houses, while in real life there shouldn't be any. I already verified the files via the Orbx Central also posted my Scenery priorities, as I fly a lot of VFR this is a really big problem for me. The solution would really make my day.
