When I start P3Dv5, the progress bar shows the scenery loading, then it minimizes and drops to the system tray. That's it. I can't figure out a way to resume loading and start to to fly. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Setting up new Win11 PC with my old Win 10 PC on network for support programmes. in the past I have always installed the correct files on both pc and then used the sample AI Traffic.exe to confirm that all was working. However with the latest 5.4 sim connect, there is no AI Traffic sample so I cannot see a simple check that the installation on both pc is correct. Grateful for advice on any other easy way to confirm simconnect is set up correctly, Many thanks

Hello, I wanted to buy this very nice looking scenery for the entire country of Bolivia here: https://secure.simmarket.com/flytoproject-flyto-bolivia.phtml I was using LIttleNavmap to take a look at the airports in Bolivia that come with P3Dv5 and I notice that there are not very many. Does anyone know of any 3rd party Bolivian airports and airstrips for P3Dv5 I can add to this beautiful scenery? I'm most interested in airports & airstrips that are not already in the sim, both freeware and payware. Thanks

What happened to MKStudios Dublin? It's no longer available to buy, although ORBX even has a black friday price on it. Did they announce something apart from, we have now the new version for the other sim? Does somebody use the Aerosoft Dublin in P3D5? How is it? Are there other, not very known alternatives for Dublin?

To help performance, I have tried to limit AI planes (AIG) by using FSUIPC. It works but I then have the annoying spectacle at airports of planes appearing and dis-appearing at random, often in the same position: hardly realistic. Is there a solution?

After reinstailed P3Dv5, some Key Assigment in Honeycam mixed with others: !- Throttle increase key controling Ruders left/right motions 2- Throttle key assigment not activate Throttels in the plane 3-Second engine throttle turns ruder to right I know this is basic issue, but I forgetted. Good Day All, So this program has finally released as of yesterday which is more or less a direct replacement to FSPassengers. It is a little more immersive in the fact that you need to set contracts for ground handling and catering along with purchasing aircraft, advertising, set crew rates etc.....It is already being updated to fix minor bugs with more aircraft being added as they go. Hi, Just stumbled across this scenery of Sofia (LBSF) from a relatively unknown FS developer (AflOSim), but it looks to be of decent quality so I think I will go ahead and buy it and support another P3D developer. What surprised me is the number of continual updates (at least 4 this year with the latest released late last month!) to this airport that have been made by this developer to improve the quality and feature set. One thing I did notice is the default CRTL+J jetways which I know some of you will appreciate. I will investigate to see if they can be easily swapped out with SODE jetways. I've been enjoying my new computer immensely but one issue was bugging me. Approaching several 3rd party airports it was obvious the airport and runway textures were not being drawn when a few miles out. How is this possible with a 24Gb graphics card? I had the same problem on my previous PC with a 1080Ti and put it down to either a driver issue or something wrong with the design of the airport scenery. But I decided there was no way this should be happening with a state-of-the-art system. A bit of googling the problem revealed the issue and solution. Adjust the value in MAX_TEXTURE_REQUEST_DISTANCE. I looked in my prepar3d.cfg and it was set at 1000.000000…

Even this thread is a bit old, I'm trying to ask a few questions here. Purchased this product a few days ago. 1.) According to this video: (6) Isg1 VirtualCol A220 retrofit - YouTube it is possible to enter the flightplan through the ISG FMC which would make it a lot easyer, as the SID and Star Database can be updated frequently. However, in my case, the entered FP is not getting transferred to the aircraft as shown in the video. Does anyone here use it and can explain what could be missing. 2.) Hello, I noticed that the Aerosoft A330 has less fuel capability than the real, it has 76.56 Tons while the real A330-300 has a fuel capacity of 109 Tons. Someone has any of information about, or if it can be fixed? As loading fuel trough the FMC it says maximum 76T even changing the aircraft.cfg with more fuel quantity thanks

I bought scenery for Aasiaat (BGAA) a small airport in Greenland. The instructions say you need to lower the mesh resolution slider to 76m in order for the scenery to display correctly. But when I set the slider to 76m and go back into the sim the slider will be set to 19m by P3D. Why can't I set the mesh resolution slider lower than 19m? The scenery is not usable with the mesh set at 19m or higher.

Hello, I've been seriously considering purchasing FS Global Ultimate 2024 global mesh. The footage and screenshots I've seen look absolutely stunning and on a whole new level compared to any other meshes I've seen out there and I want to take it to the next level. I have some questions about the product and I would greatly appreciate if anyone can help inform me. I have been experiencing quite the gremlin lately in my P3Dv5.3 setup with all addon jetliners. In my PMDG 737-800 ngxu, while taxiing to runway, all of a sudden, the engine generators are tripped and go offline. Fortunately, the 737 's systems aren't as power hungry so they stay alive long enough for me to reset the engine generator switches and full power is restored. I only then have to reset autobrake, yaw damper, and efb, and continue taxi. The remainder of my flight has been uneventful. This does not happen every time, but at least 90% of the time. With my other liners (PMDG777, QW787, CS757/767) everything shuts down and I can't restart the aircraft an…

Hi all, Not sure how many of you still use PFPX, but I still find it the most robust dispatching system available. I noticed today that the weather information (METARs/TAFs, not to be confused with winds aloft data) is almost a week old, from 16-Oct. NOTAMs and winds aloft are updating correctly, and everything shows current (green) at the bottom right, however, weather reports/forecasts are old. I deleted the data in the TEMP folder and it still pulls WX info from 16-Oct. Anyone else seeing this? I would seek support from Aerosoft but they have abandoned PFPX and the forum there is read-only. Thanks, Ben

Hi All. My topic title says it all. I am very happy overall with my setup, but at night I seem to get muti coloured layers in the sky and green shimmering clouds which reflect a bit into the cockpit of which ever aircraft I'm flying. I have a RTX3090ti card and I use Envdir, Envtex and Envshade, also Active sky and Cloud art all in P3d v5.4. I'm sorry, but being an old duffer I don't know how to do screenshots for you. I'm guessing I've gone wrong in my settings somewhere , but don't know where. Any thoughts on recommended/correct settings to solve this problem would be so appreciated. Hey guys, I tried out an ai player dll from the library and it looks like it's buggered up my ai. I am using V5.4. Anyone have their default file they can send me? I made a dumb move by not backing up the default file. It looks like it's in the client installer...nevermind!! haha. I'll get back to drinking my Malbec.. Thank you, Sean
