Greetings Avsim team, im having some issues with the Vertx DA62. While I’m at the VC, the all of the textures just spikes and it’s impossible for me to make anything. It only happens on the interior views, I change to exterior and top views and they are fine. I have emailed the Vertx support team and Seam, but they haven’t replied any email... Hello there, my biggest problem with P3dV5 at the moment is the broken lighting at addon airports. Of course, some of them have been properly fixed, but others cause problems because PBR aircraft don't reflect light (even though the airport was ported to v5 by the developer) and in some cases, airports just won't be provided in the short term (for example Imaginesim refusing to fix ZSPD for P3dv5 at the moment...). I've read about the new parameters and frickled around a little bit with effect files but no success up to now. Has anyone accomplished this yet? Or could somebody explain to me, what exactly the difference between P3dv4 und v5 is in regard to …

I bought KEN and KSFO from FSDT and now I cannot see them in FSDT site anymore. What do I need to do to download from Flightbeam? Any ideas? BTW I am not seeing a forum for flightbeam Thanks Manny

Hi, The only purchase that I have made in the past that works in V5 with an upgrade so far is the Majestic Q400, is there a list somewhere for aircrafts that have free upgrades or discounted upgrades to make them compatible? Thanks

HOWDY folks im having an issue. Latley my P3d v5 with hotfix 2 installed has been crashing. Figured it would be useful for people to list what they have got working okay in P3D V5. So feel free to add your contributions... I've reinstalled p3d on a m2 drive and it seems to take ages like 15 minutes to load. Sticks at 6% for at least 10 minutes. Any ideas about this. Thanks Steve

I had to re-install Navigraph charts and Manager. However now I don't have Navigraph Downloader? Is it anywhere I can download that again? Hi everyone, Has anyone considered the impact of MSFS on the P3D ecosystem ? I fear that MSFS2020 arrival on the sim market draws out new customers from P3D significantly. This will result for addon dev who are not clearly on MSFS boat (FlightsimLabs for ex) a huge drop of sales, causing money shortage and possibly their death. Remember that as customers we are not anymore physical owner of the product: we just purchased a license ownership (a license that must be activated by the addon provider). Hello All I know that this is late to the party, but I'm about to upgrade my P4D4.5 machine from Windows 7 to Windows 10 using the standard upgrade from Microsoft. I've just upgraded a non-sim machine from 7 to 10 without a hiccup, so I have no issues with the upgrade per se. My question relates to any specific P3D4.5 issues / heads up that I should be aware of before or / after performing the upgrade that could potentially come back and bite me in the proverbial ? Hi folks, My sun in P3Dv4 has turned into a Minecraft block! The only new addon I've installed is the Alabeo Mooney, yet as of today, my sun now looks like this. (It wasn't like this yesterday - odd). I'm not using PTA right now and HDR is turned off. Now I'm all for a bit of "Black Hole Sun" but not keen on "Pink Square Sun" Lol! Anyone know what might be causing this, or how to resolve? Thanks in advance.

The my specs are as follows: --- CPU: i9 9900K @5.0 GHZ Hyperthreading Enabled (Happens when disabled too, just not as much). Hello everyone, yesterday i downloaded the quality wings 787 for the first time but have had a really bad problem when starting it up. Whenever i start a new flight with it i get a 'startup error' on the PFD and FMC, meaning i can't use the plane. Everything else works and i can fly it perfectly fine but this problem is really getting the better of me. I have tried to reinstall it several times but nothing changed. I am using P3D V4. Help really appreciated!

Can someone please confirm when installing this bird. they have a P3dv5 folder with gauges folder inside it? With real light and true glass? And also it creates another of the same in a P3d v4 folder is this normal? do I have to extract that and install it into my P3d v5 gauges? isnt this done automatically ? thanks Mike

I installed p3d v5 and it never worked . So I asked for a refund or get the v4 instead. No response after they just said refunds available for first 14 days just send a email.. so sent several emails and just what no response. Also no support

Last night I purchased MK Studios Tenerife North, thinking that I had MK’s Tenerife South which is required to run the scenery. When I went to install it I realized that I screwed up, and actually had the Digital Design Tenerife South. My error of course, since I didn’t do my due diligence. I sent a ticket last night about the situation, and within a few hours they had responded with a refund credit. I used the credit shortly after to buy Justsim EDDV. I will appreciate any advice on G-Sync and its impact on P3Dv5. I recently purchased an "LG UltraGear 38GL950G-B 38" 21:9 Curved 144 Hz G-SYNC IPS" Gaming Monitor and have "overclocked" the refresh rate to the maximum 175Hz. Besides being aware of G-Sync's apparent ability to reduce screen "tearing," I really don't know much else about how it all comes together. One thing that I am noticing is that even when I have the maximum refresh rate set of 175Hz, the refresh rate syncs with whatever FPS P3D puts out, i.e., 30 to 90 FPS, depending on scenery and aircraft. Is this how it's supposed to work? Can you not set it up to always run at 175Hz? Also, is it beneficial to enabl…

Is it just my perception or have many 3rd party developers halted/abandoned planned updates and/or releases for P3d v5 and moved directly to MSFS 2020? Some developers have been excellent (yes there are glitches here and there, but not of any consequence). However I keep on seeing scenery that was to be released for p3d, now conspicuously absent, in favour of screen shots on how it looks in MSFS2020.
