Could be any moment now? Really curious what the new Atmosphere will look like when it is out of Beta! Would be great if it is more Active Sky compatibel so that we don't have sudden weather changes anymore and a lot more cloud layers!

Hey, guys, I'm new in this forum 🙂 I have a problem with the autopilot of my Alabeo M20R when the GTN 750 is integrated. At ILS final approach, the approach mode turns off automatically and I can not activate it anymore when the plane has to sink (but does not :D). Anybody knows a solution for that? By the way, I didn't try it yet without the GTN 750.

When I start v5 the aircraft preview window is black. If I fly everything is normal and nothing goes wrong. Also if I select another aircraft the preview window will show the selected aircraft. Is this happening with anyone else?

Hello there! I've looked all over the forums for help on this but I couldn't find anything similar. I am using P3Dv5 version 5.0.31.35253, which is the most recent to the best of my knowledge. My issue is that when I switch from Advanced Atmospherics (TrueSky) to default clouds, I have a tremendous performance hit. I thought I may have encountered some error with addons, so I did a clean uninstall of the sim, and the issue continued. hi there, Is it possible to manually create faults just to practice upon? For example there are limited faults like engine fire at take off etc. However, i was wondering if there is a software or something like that we could use to create local faults or system faults on minor things?

Hi, after moving from my rusty 4770K to a completely new build based on the 10700K (and hopefully a 3080 with 20Gb soon), I'm back into flight simming after a long break. Of course I bought MFS but since I'm a tubeliner guy, it cannot replace a Prepar3d install yet. So my big question is whether I should make the upgrade from v4.5 to v5, knowing that probably in a year or so, it will be all MFS when PDMG and the likes release decent tubeliners for MFS. In that regard I have one specific question: Does Prepar3d v5 require scenery updates or do the v4 sceneries still work? Recently using Carenado C210 in Landing config 82 kts, the A/C dove and turned sharp to right. Unable to recover. Later using the AC11 the same thing happened. Now cold and dark start C210, D-18, F22 and AC 11 when brakes released and power applied the A/C turns sharp to right. Difficult to control with full left controls.

Morning, Since my reinstall, when using trackir I get a black triangle on the top left of the screen approx 4" across by 6" down the lhs. Anyone else got this and how can it be resolved. Thanks.

I'm thinking of trying out PILOT'S FS Global Real Weather (FSGRW). Does anyone know if M.A. RealTurb works alongside FSGRW? I asked the developer of RealTurb, and his reply was that if FSGRW allows weather-related simconnect calls from other programs and doesn't suppress them, RealTurb should have no issues with basic features. I'm pretty sure that FSGRW uses FSUIPC rather than simconnect, but I don't know whether FSGRW suppresses simconnect calls from other programs. Anyway,…

My P3Dv4 installation suffers a severe FPS loss after minimizing it for a while. This happens with more than one airplane. Does anybody knows why and if there's a cure? I can begin the flight with very smooth screen pans and overall FPS. Sometimes, If I'm on a long flight, I minimize P3D to focus on other things: social media, internet, etc. If P3D stays minimized for what appears to be more than an hour, when I restore it, the panning and FPS becomes almost like a slide show. This with no other program running that wasn't running when I minimized it. Appreciate any help.

Can someone briefly tell me the differences between V4 and V5? I have seen videos of V5 and to me it looks very much the same is in V4. Is there a convincing reason to upgrade that I am not seeing. I generally fly jetliners, specifically FSlabs and PMDG.

The new v5 will be running on DX12 vs the old v4. With that being said, do you think that we will see a noticeable performance gain? With X-Plane 11 recently overhauling its graphics engine to support vulkan, I can surely say that it's a big noticeable difference and I am hoping we will see noticeable gains in performance as well going from v4 to v5. That will determine whether or not I'll make the switch.

V5 Palermo has been released on SimMarket free if you own the V4 version.

If so I covet you're appraisal since this is likely the only 767 we will ever see in P3D. Could anyone say if systems are on par with the old LevelD. Is it full operating systems and FMC or a simplified toy version? And now the loaded question. What about bugs? It's an expensive purchase so I appreciate any honest responses. I would love to have a 767 for some short freight hops. Thanks in advance.

I've been searching for a way to make handwritten notes in P3D (any version). This project for DCS is the inspiration. It would be especially useful for VR, but being able to see what notes you took and what was going on at the time in a replay of a scenario would be a good training tool in general. Has anyone come across something like this, or have there been any other inquiries about such a tool?

I've had P3d on the shelf for a month or 2 and just fired it up. It looks as though Chaseplane goes through Orbx now. However, Orbx doesn't recognize that I own Chaseplane, even though I have used it for years. How do I overcome this? Something must have recently change and I am not sure where to start. Thanks!

Anybody using Pilot's FS Global real Weather (FSGRW) in P3DV5? If so how does it work with the Enhanced Atmospherics Beta enabled and not enabled? Like to know before I take the plunge and purchase the new V5 version. Used FSGRW in FSX for a number of years and really liked the simple user interface. John Cottreau

HELP Since the Windows 10 2004 update and the NVIDIA Driver update 451.60. My scenery will not load automatically. As I approach an area with a add-on scenery (Like KATL 2016 which is at Number 5 in priority) it will not load without opening and closing the scenery library which takes almost a minute or more to come back. I've tried multiple graphic and world setting changes but with no Joy. Thanks Ron PS if anyone has similar specs like me, I'd appreciate knowing your graphics settings.
