Hey guys just curious to know what your Asp3d settings are in v5 as oppose to v4? are you guys using more cloud layers? more draw distance? multi layer thunderstorm clouds? Etc etc Thanks mike

Looks like most of the helos are not compatible with v5. Is the MP Bell the best one out there? I was really hoping for a nice Sikorsky Sea King (Marine 1).

Hi all, I just wanted to reinstall v5. Unfortunately I am unable to install the scenery part. I always get invalid digital siganture error message on several files. I already downloaded several files which several browsers and download managgers. The error message seems to come randomly. Sometimes it is the cab file 5, sometimes 2, sometimes 8. I tried already all the steps from the pinned topics in the forum. Antivirus off, updated system, USB plugged off, etc. The MD5 checksum is correct and also before the installation I checked under properties of the file the digital signatures. They look all good but after the error message it says the digital signature is invali…

I've purchased my laptop almost a year ago, with only FSX in mind. Specs are in signature. However, I'm seeing lots of posts about both P3D4 and P3D5, and now I got the itch to upgrade to this (since I know my laptop can't run MSFS2020 well). Hello.I have suddenly problem with GSX In P3D v.5. When I request loading and boarding, there is no bus with pilots and hostesses, only any bus without passengers. Only trucks with luggage arrive to the aircraft and loads luggage on board.The problem applies to all aircraft as Majestic Dash 8-400 and PMDG Boeing 737-800 NGXu. I have the latest upgrade of GSX. I have contacted the fsdreamteam forum without answer. What is wrong?Kjelle

My approach of this topic is a positive one! I would like to keep it this way please. I will try to stay objective as much as possible and I would like to ask you to do also so. 😉 Since a few weeks I do observate that a lot of simmers are "coming back" to P3D. Can someone kindly recommend a good chopper (payware or freeware) that works properly in P3Dv5? I have the Cerasim Dauphin and i was able to install it, but rudder control is almost non-existant, and the cockpit lighting at night leaves a lot to be desired. Which p3d cfg tweaks in particular would help most with getting sharper distant textures and mesh? I hate seeing blurry mountains in the distance and watching them "pop" into shape.

Hi Guys, i have p3d v5 and the ngxu, when undock 2 windows all is fine when I try to undock the third (engine screen) it freezes or turns black. ive checked my resolutions are correct in windows and match those in p3d. not sure what else I can try. Have posted in pmdg forum but so far no takers. Any ideas here?

Hello,I am at my wits end. I do not know what I did to muck up my P3D,but here it goes. . I did something and seem to have lost my autopiloy digital characters from my Ken Willigton 737 panel. I also re-downloaded and installed a 767 panel for FSX. It to does not have digital characters for the radio. I first tried a repair ,then I uninstalled P3D . Any idea what happened and how to fix it. ?

This seemed to happen out of the blue but I when I start P3Dv5 it has its opening screen for about 10 seconds then disappears. So I did a fresh re-install of P3Dv5 HF2 (full version, not an update). Same thing. I have no add-ons installed. Have disabled virus protection and firewall during install and when starting program. Have uninstalled and re-installed twice now... same issue. I know my d/l from Lockheed works as I have been using it before. Have gone through the list LM provides... still no go. Baffled... starting to search internet on ideas but maybe someone out there has had this experience and got it working. Ideas appreciated. Clutch

I have updated my sim to v5, and I am still installing aircrafts and scenery. Today I tried to install some freeware scenery from Onfinal.dk. Everything seem to be ok, but when I press the ok button I get the following message; "Unable to open C:\Programdata\ Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d v5\Scenery.cfg for writing". Can anyone tell me what has happened or what I am doing wrong? The sceneries work fine in v4, and they are updated to v5. Tor Arild Danielsen

Hi everybody, I have recently added the QW 787 to my P3D v4 software and i have encountered two frustrating problems that i couldnt find the answer to yet: 1. the flaps cant be moved when i click on them, and when i move them via keyboard (f7 in p3d) the green line doesnt signal it on the mfd. 2. although ive enabled both FD's, autothrottles, VNAV, LNAV and autopilot buttons (and they all remain on), when i take off the aircraft doesnt act like the autopilot is activated and i end maneuvering the plane manually as best as i can before i crash. So installed the Orbx terra flora trees with all the seasons etc... Except for the sun being i think to bright causing them to look kinda like a "Glow" effect. I keep thinking they just didnt look right. Then I came across this picture and except for the brightness i have in P3d, They are normal looking. I stand corrected for my faulty observation. I need to get out more.... LOL The problem now is, I dont live in Vermont....... To bad the trees are not region specific? So. Cal.

Hi, Last week I downloaded my P3D Pro 4.5.14.34698 from LM's website and installed it. In my understanding it is the last version of the 4 series. So I do not need to apply any hotfix or patch. Correct?

Hello everybody About two weeks ago, I bought South World Scene's FMMI Ivato Airport (available here: https://secure.simmarket.com/south-world-scene-fmmi-p3dv4.phtml). While the airport itself is quite nicely done, I have some terrain issues in the vicinity of the airport. Several lakes in the neighborhood are too elevated. Hi guys, Have been playing around with pfpx, simbrief, aivlasoft, skyvector etc.. What is the best way to create and import a flighplan directly into fms in majestic dash 8? I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the possible options there are available. Watched a video where someone uses fs commander, aivlasoft, simbrief, aurasim all together to create just 1 flight plan.... Isn't that a little too much Thanks for your input guys!
