I have two airports where I have to disable Dynamic Lighting because it kills performance. There could be more. The first is ORBX Bilbao but only at UHD resolution. At 1920*1080 it’s fine and explains why ORBX support couldn’t replicate the problem. In fairness to them they did offer a refund but I declined as I like the airport and as I fly in daytime it’s not really a problem. It was widespread at the airport. The second is FlyTampa Sydney but it only becomes a problem when taxiing onto a runway. I was able to taxi around the airport without a problem. Hi there, a few weeks ago I got my p3dv5 license and started flying with FSLABS A320 and see the same problem. I thought it was a problem with fslabs so I tried now with PMDG NGXu 737 and same problem, on external views mostly, there are black blurry textures around the aircraft, I've tried changing the settings to higher and lower specs but nothing happens.. everything is updated has anyone has the same problem? Good day friends. I have spent the last 2,5 years building my full size B738 simulator and have succeeded very well so far. Have been flying around the globe and visited 135 countries so far and no problem. I use P3d v4.5, Asus 6gb dual OC GPU (not overclocked to my knowledge), 16gb ram and a few ssd hdd. Pmdg as aircraft, the one and only. Aktive sky in use for real weather and all ORBX softwares worldwide. As outside windows I use two TV monitors and one small projectors. Will however go to four TV monitors due to lack of space later. Have tested how well the gpu works on a flight today Phnom Penh to Brunei. A two hour flight with no problems as …

Quality by name but not by nature it appears. There are a number of issues with their v5 of the 787, yet they are incredibly slow to address these problems and in some cases just ignore support requests. Other developers are so quick to get back to you, it's so disappointing that a company whose name is synonymous with quality is in reality the complete opposite.

I just booted my P3Dv4 setup up while trying to test an ongoing stuttering/Freeze issue which i hoped i might be moments away from solving BUT on the P3D startup screen i was prompted to unload multiple sceneries that i have installed on my D drive. It would appear for whatever reason it disconnected itself so P3D (based on the C drive) couldnt find those sceneries while loading up, i pressed no for each prompt and then exited the sim. Rebooted my PC and hey presto the D drive was connected again back but once i booted up P3D it shows a vast number of my sceneries are missing off the library list but they all still show as installed in their folders on the drive.... …

Hello I was flying from LPPT to LEPA using P3Dv5 and using Prosim737. About 20 minutes into the flight I noticed that the sound of the engines was still going on,but the image was frozen. It did not continue. Afyter a while I stop the simulation. Now if I restart P3D I get the first screen with the F22 and the default airport, I just kit Ok. it starts loading and about 75% later it crashed to the desktop. I looked at Windows event viewer, and it shows a crash of P3dV5 due to fault with the file Kernel.dll. I don't think is an issue with the system, as I have a pretty decent machine I9-10850K not overclocked, ASUS Maximus X!!, 32 GB of DDR4-4000 RAM, GTX 1…

I bought and downloaded Dubai from FlyTampa knowing they create very realistic airports. Started exploring only to discover the airport is nothing like it is at the moment. Turns out the forum is "locked" as the add on is "discontinued" even though nothing of the sort is made obvious before purchase. What a con. FlyTampa should be held to account for this. A fraudulent description of a product with no way to rectify it. Outrageous.

Finally including v5 compatibility, GlaCS rain effect and numerous other fixes. Looking for feedback before updating... Thanks!

Im going to try and be as detailed as i can be with this.... In the last week my setup suddenly started stuttering on flight startup with any aircraft, it usually takes about 2mins or so for it to kick in initially but it stutters and continues running, then stutters and continues, these stutters turn to 4-6 second pauses/freezes almost with the threat of a CTD sometimes but if left it resumes rolling and then happens again and again. I first thought maybe my AI which is highly maintained anyway was the cause possibly or maybe even ActiveSky so both were turned off and then stuttering continued. Hi. I've never had a problem using ActiveSky until I upgraded to P3Dv5, then the producers said I would have to wait for an upgrade on their software. It's taking them ages! Does anyone know of something that would work in v5 that produces the weather properly.? I want it to go off and get the weather for the time on my aircraft accurately.

Hi all, We lately see a huge stream of MSFS scenery being released by P3D developers. At the same time I fail to remember a recent P3D high quality scenery/aircraft being developed or announced by the top aircraft/scenery developers. This makes me wonder. Do you think the presence of MSFS will stop development for P3D? And my view on this is: I really hope not! Why? Because if scenery developers think that the majority of their customers are people flying default aircraft I bet they are wrong. Even at compelling prices I don't have any need to buy a quality airport hub if there are no top quality airliners like we have for P3D. So, except their conversion p…

Just as the title says. Im looking for a light jet for v5. I had the Mustang for a while from Flight1 in 4.5 but its not compatible with V5 and i dont think they are going to update it. Thanks...

This is also mentioned in the lengthy HF2 topic, but deserves its own thread.. With Beta Atmospherics enabled, something new has appeared, namely distant objects distinctly visible in the haze. Here an example: St Barts (Flytampa) Notice how the town/airport sticks out when it used to be (pre HF2) hidden in the haze, like the surrounding area.
