Flightsimlabs has released the long-awaited update to bring the A319 into P3Dv5, in conjunction with updates for the A320 and A321. This completes P3Dv5 compatibility upgrades for their entire Scarebus lineup.

I'm flying in VR with Flyinside for HTC Vive. It's the best thing there is in my opinion, and I just love it However, the PAPI lights are giving me a little problem, because they are so increadibly big in the Vive. Is there a way to modify the size of them?

Hi guys, Anyone know if another KDCA is being made. The DD one does put very low res textures of the ground all around the DC area and that just sucks plain and simple (even the colors are not in sync with orbx global+openlc). I have even tried to disable some of the files but I can never get stand alone KDCA. I am just surprised that no one is really complained about this. Thanks

Hello, I recently noticed an issue when flying in V4.5. I run UT Live with ProATC/X for my traffic and ATC needs. Whenever I am flying at cruising altitude, and a AI aircraft is passing me at another altitude going in the other direction, sometimes that AI aircraft will start to ascend very rapidly until it stalls, and then it nose dives back down. I have seen this happen at least 10 times now just randomly. Sometimes it doesn’t happen at all. Sometimes it happens 2-3 times in a single flight. Has anyone else seen this? With the programs I mentioned, I thought that maybe one of them had some type of coding to where AI traffic tries to “avoid a collision” and will take “ev…

The SODE-based VDGS SimObject pack has been released and is available at fine stores everywhere. This screenshot is from SimMarket: For the VDGS to work, the 3rd-party airport developer must provide a configuration file containing placement data for the VDGS (for example, the Drzewiecki Design version of UUEE Moscow Sheremetyevo X V2). The VDGS pack comes with a demo airport for testing purposes (Cebu Mactan International Airport, RPVM, Philippines).

Afternoon all ! Could someone give me a quick resume of where we are with V5 ? I did purchase when released but went for the refund option and dropped back to v4.5. Do we have decent cloud shadows yet in advanced atmospherics etc ?

At least I can't find any setting to load and use real time weather like I can in FSX (although that don't work now for reason I don't understand) and in XP11. I have Active Sky Next for P3D but that version is not compatible with P3D V5. So for now live weather not possible unlike the other sims, or ?

Hi, It's me, again... I have been enjoying P3D for days, and slowly getting the required add-ons to have a better experience. I am loving the simulator and the airliners available for it. However, I have a few issues, with the first one being night lighting. In my case light orbs, especially for VASI/PAPI and runway lights etc. seem to be extremely large. Is there a way to get a similar look to X-Plane in that sense? Secondly, when I change camera views it takes 1-2 seconds for model to fully load, but after watching some Prepar3D streams, I noticed that other people don't experience this. Is there a fix for it I don't know of? Thank you.

FS Labs have finally announced that the “unpaused” 64-bit Concorde will be developed for LM P3D v4 and v5. It is extremely welcome news that v4 will have a version as that is still used by many of us. No release dates but this announcement will be welcomed by all those who have been waiting patiently. Does anyone have Ultimate Traffic Live ai addon working in P3DV5? If so how?

I mean that as the highest compliment!! It took me YEARS to convert from FS9 to a newer platform, I actually skipped FSX and early P3D versions because FS9.xxxx was my sim nirvana. Butter smooth with all my add-ons, scenery, PMDG and even I think it was the PSS777? Could that be right? I was able to run everything with 100%AI and it was awesome... One of my favorite flights was KEWR-LLBG leaving NYC at night (remember Aerosoft NYC LOL) and approaching the Tel Aviv coastline 10 hours later. Who knows how many years later and I just took off from DD KEWR at night with all my add-ons in the QW787 using my OpenCockpits Modules in the pouring rain using AIG-OCI and …

Hello, I have recently bought the 757 v3 for P3Dv4. I installed some liveries via the ACE but I can't get the Winglets going in the sim.

I posted this on the Orbx Limited Users 16 days ago without a response. I've been a bad boy over there for several years. But I have a big problem with P3Dv5 in an area I fly frequently. Orcas Island (KORS) - Runway elevation problem and missing structures. Friday Harbor (KFHR) - Runway elevation problem and missing structures. Victoria IAP (CYYJ) Missing structures, taxiways and runways. Whibey Island and Anacortes are OK. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Orcas Island and KFHR. I have plenty of room on my HD and If no solution is found I will go back to P3Dv4 or perhaps even FSX. Noel

Hi Wondered if anyone can help. I am using P3D v4.5 On a number of my military aircraft when I load PBR textures the texture has a shiny, chrome like finish even for what are definitely intended to be matt camouflage or low observable finishes. Examples being the Indiafoxtecho F-35 and the SimSkunkworks F-104/G-91. Grateful for any ideas

Does anyone know where I can download the FSX2WarPack1 . I manage to get the Main download of FSX@war via the recommended thread But I cant find the FSW@WarPack1 which has all the objects etc. Do Hope someone can help Thanks

Hi, Looking for feedback/reviews on the current state of this aircraft as I'm looking to add an airliner to the hangar... I own the top complex airliners (FSlabs, PMDG, Maddog) and the less complex ones (CS, feelthere etc...) but avoid carenado due to lacking systems. Where does this aircraft stand in the above? Is it already in a polished state? Thank you

Apologies, I know this has been covered and I have actually seen this before in the past. Usually it is shutting down my system before the P3D process ends so when I restart P3D starts automatically. This one however is different. I shut down P3D, let the system sit, once my MS security or "focus" box with everything it hid while I was gamin pops up I usually know P3D is shut down. Then I go into task manager to verify no processes still running tied to P3D. Only then do I shut the system down and sure enough when I reboot P3D loads automatically. I have to go through the entire "shut down" process again, then reboot and only then will the system usually start norma…

Hi! I have being away for some time but now I´m back in my sim again. I Have just converted in to P3Dv5. Can I use RAAS and REX SF - EF in v5? I have abdomen MS2020 until the sim works. For now it looks like something I can not accept. I, sadly, own a De Lux Version.

I got a fancy new computer, thinking to get back into flight simming. It was not long ago, I was the master of all I surveyed, a staff reviewer for AVSIM, confident in a variety of complex airliners, up-to-date on the latest tweaks to wring another 2 FPS from FSX. I am using P3Dv5 HF2 with Chaseplane and FSL A321. My views have started to randomly change. It will go from an internal cockpit camera to an external camera and to another camera. This while at the gate, configuring a flight and is not related to the Chaseplane cinematic feature that occurs above 18,000 feet. It seems to have just spontaneously started. Any thoughts? I am looking for guidance. I am a pilot not a computer programmer, thus all I know how to do is copy and paste folders. My issue is that I have an original file of the Classic Wings Ercoupe. Its modeling is still very good although the graphics lack a bit. I have successfully copied and pasted all of my other older aircraft into Prepar3dv4 but this file, which worked fine with v3 causes P3d to crash whether from the start screen or when selecting it in the sim.
