I have the "Cessna U206G Soloy Mark 1 V3.0" by flightport installed in P3D v4 Does anyone here who has this aircraft know if there is a trick to starting the engine? Fuel is on, power switch is set to ground, I turn on the battery and the starter, I hear the starter sound, the oil pressure comes up and the N1 comes up to about 11, but the engine doesn't start. the starter sound just keeps looping. I did run the installer for XML tools per the link in the readme also to no avail. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? It doesn't even start with ctrl+e. There is a L VAC R light on if that means anything. Also I got a "flying tip" pop up saying fuel is critical…

Hi All, I was interested to see that Just Flight continue to send development updates along for their new A300B4 that is expected to be v4 and v5 compatible. Hello, I dusted off P3D this weekend after a lengthy absence using MSFS as I wanted to fly some of my airliners. I did two flights and encountered something on both I’ve never seen before. While using regular weather (ie not enhanced atmospherics) I get a FPS drop to 8-10 when looking at the horizon. This is both in the cockpit and in spot view. When I scroll the view up or down in spot view so that I’m looking up at the sky or down at the ground the FPS return to my locked 30fps. If I turn on enhanced atmospherics the issue goes away altogether. I’m using active sky with ASCA. First flight was in the Majestic Q400, second was in the Captainsim 757. …

Good day all, This might seem a bit strange to ask but I am honestly confused. I have Orbx Open LC North America and the Base Pack will adding a Global Mesh add on do anything more for me scenery wise? or is it redundant with these two add-on? I am mostly happy with the scenery in P3D but if adding a mesh package would improve things I am will to do so. On the other hand I am not about wasting money on something that will not help at all. In FSX the Baytower RV-7 and Vertigo RV-8 have been my favorite GA aircraft. I never did get the RV-7 to transition to P3Dv3 despite all the supposed fixed, but the RV-8 worked fine. I'm re-building with P3Dv4.1 now and looking to install *only* addons that are certified and supported by the vendors. Neither of these two craft are. So any suggestions on a replacement? Single engine, normally aspirated; simple cockpit; bubble cockpit (no roof; I want to see stuff!); low wing, cruise of 150kts+; fixed or retract u/c ok. I fly low/slow when sightseeing or 'fast' when traveling so the Vans craft were perfect for that. Freeware or payware is …

One issue I have is when I use my rudder pedal toe brakes,the airlerons go wacky and so do the ground spoilers. If I move the yoke,they go back down. Secondly,does anyone know where I can find a good 727 panel for FSX and up that has GPS ? Thanks

In most flights that I make with P3D V5, I can always count on THIS happening. THIS is the complete elimination of plane textures during a flight. I like to frequently move from VC to SPOT view and on to as many views as I choose. When I move to SPOT view, often there are totally missing plane textures. Instead, the plane is shiny silver and devoid of paint. If I leave it there, it will often come back to life and all is OK. However, sometimes this paint removal is a portent of things to come. What comes sometimes is an avalanche of performance deterioration. The stutters start and it becomes impossible to switch views. Everything is in slow motion, and either I …

I am really not so impressed how ORBX products perform in P3DV5 HF1 and also now after HF2. I have several issues wich still in there and that with the "Tag" Compatible to V5. I know that ORBX is having a list with known issues. But then their products should not be tagged with this V5 compatibillity. V5 is out for weeks now. How do others see this? What are your opinions? Hello, does anyone have an idea what this (strange building) could be? It's when I approach Lisbon Rwy 03 on the left side a few miles before touchdown. I use MK Studios LPPT airport and I allready contacted them but they assure me that it has nothing to do with their scenery. I searched everywhere but I can not find anything that could explane this problem. I use Prepar 3D v5 with ORBX global base and vector and open LC Europe but I can not find anything there . I am trying to download the GSN 530W and 430W from "Reality XP" and use the coupons from the Reality XP web page. Does anyone understand how to download and then select the *cpn files downloaded from that website? I downloaded the *cpn files numerous times today, but when I select "Coupon?", they just won't come up. Not sure if those coupon are even real, at this point. I have tried everything, including moving them to different folders on my drive, and still nothing. Does anyone have the same issue? This is bizarre... Hello, I am surviving trying to solve my only one issue with P3D. Don't have any problems like VAS or low FPS. What makes me really annoyed and just step from getting refund for P3D is my FPS suddenly drops down. It looks like this: The problem exist on any aircraft and scenery, same on A320 and DD Polish Ariports as default aircraft and default scenery. I have tried to move ALL my sliders to the left in P3D. My FPS goes up to 70-80 or even over 100 but still goes down for a while. I've tried to lock my FPS to 20,30,60, even used Nvidia Inspector to lock my FPS, doesn't help at all. I discovered that GPU Load goes down exactly at the same time for some reason. It o…

Hi, I am an existing X-Plane 11 user, and a fan of airliners. Sadly, I started to regret getting X-Plane, as it lacks for the aircraft I love, when compared to their Prepar3D counterparts. PMDG 747, 777, FSLabs A320, QualityWings 787, Majestic Q400, TFDi 717, Leonardo's MD-80, ... I was planning to wait for PMDG, FSLabs, ... to come to the new Microsoft Flight Simulator, however, the recent delay announced by PMDG made me lean towards Prepar3D. I am also an undergraduate student and won't have much time flying after 1-2 years, so I am not sure if I can wait like more than 1 year for these aircraft. Hey Guys. Wondering if I could get some input here. I've noticed lately when there is an orbx update for any of my products it will also rearrange the scenery order after applying the update. In the past, this wasn't an issue. But since picking up true earth florida, I need to keep my various florida payware airports above TE FL. So now I'm forced to use lorby's and move each one up after. Is there a better way? Thanks so much.

Just installed and both during landing and take off it crashes sim forcing P3D to reload. I have found some reports, discussion and 'possible remedies' already in 2017. It looks like this problem is not fixed from 2017... Old fixes do not work, and haven't found any proper ones. Anyone having LOWI can guide me how to make this airport usable ? My sim is P3D4.5 HF1

Hello all, I'm really hoping someone can help me out. I upgraded to P3D v5 recently and all is going swimmingly - except the default sounds. Either they're not there or are so quiet I still hear nothing when all volumes are up full. I've been into every sound setting menu I can find, Realtek; Win10; P3D; etc. No joy. All other sounds work fine. Addon sounds are good. Only default sounds like that annoying fuel truck noise (which I sort of miss now!) switch sounds (where aircraft use default ones), fans, general environment sounds inside or outside the cockpit, etc. They're all in the sounds folder and the config points to the right place. Not a complaint, but really a heads-up to those concerned about low frame rates in P3DV4, who may be baffled at times, as I was. Running a 1070 GTX video card, attached to a 4K TV (main screen, set to 30Hz refresh), and a second 21", 60 hz (fixed) Acer 1K monitor. The second, smaller screen I use for monitoring hardware and tasks during tests (MSI Afterburner, ProcExplorer) and for ATC (PF3 or Pilot2ATC) when routine flying. PD3V4 is set internally to VSYNC ON, Triple Buffering ON, Frames Unlimited, and gives me a steady 30FPS with only slight occasional stutter. I run the 4K screen in Full Screen mode.
