My sim is P3dv4.5 ....and just recently have I encountered this strange behaviour. Doesn't matter what plane I'm flying,when I reach the altitude I need,I turn on the A/P....but when releasing the ALT.button in order to descend the aircraft suddenly flares up and climbs into a stall. Is there some procedure I'm missing. I've searched in vain to find an answer !! Thanks for any help... Skip d

I'm stumped on this one. Have any of you had this issue? I have tried deleting my CFG file with no success. This happened after I installed the Milviz F-4 last night. I have noticed that it only happens when I change my AA from default. I'll attach my P3d CFG, along with my Scenery CFG. I have also already verified all of my ORBX files. Thanks for any help! Hi Does anyone know of a good interior soundset for the likes of wingviews? Specifically for the 737NG series. I'd like to capture some fotoage etc using the wingview of the PMDG but the sound is external not the interior. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Let me explain my question a little further. Currently, when I start in my P3D Project Airbus Airbus 318/319/320 I will see a solid yellow Master Caution light on and a Master Warning light flashing. I click on them and they go off. I am trying to recreate the lights with my Saitek BIP panel so my question is more related to what system failure (or combination) causes these to illuminate? I am not a systems guy - just trying to recreate. These are not "study level" aircraft so I know not all systems are even close to being modeled. But something is triggering these on/off. If anyone who knows about this, appreciate any input. Clutch

After having moved to V5 HF2 I have been trying to get the sim to display a crisp and clear sunny day that would be close to real life. I've tried the default textures with no shaders, with Envshade and with the Nvidia panel, but always get a sort of a washout look and it never looks sharp as it would be in a clear sunny day. Didn't have issues in 4.5 and was wondering if anyone has any settings they would recommend to at least get close to reality. Otherwise performance is good and looking forward to the next version release. regards

It seems to install OK. Everything is there and the engines start. But about 4 or 5 minutes into a flight the panels go dark and the engines start winding down as if the generators haven't been turned on. Bu there is no way to turn the generators on. The overhead panel is for looks only. Is this a known condition and if it is, is there a fix for it? Noel

If anyone from LM's Prepar3d is listening, here it is. The community has been abuzz surrounding the release of MSFS2020 this past week. There’s an interesting business read entitled “The innovator’s dilemma” by Clayton Christenson that came out some years ago. Only thing keeping me from upgrading to V5 (DX12) is the fact that I have a 2080 Super with only 8GB of VRAM. Plan on doing most flying with my PMDG heavies over ORBX TE Regions with add-on Airports with heavy AI traffic and Activesky live weather... Will I get CTD's due to lack of VRAM in these settings when playing? Thanks!

Hello, In v4 we had Tomatoshade for nightlighting but in v5 the nightlight is too bright again. Is there a chance to fix it?

Hi, I installed the version of Vector for P3Dv5. The only parameter checked is Beaches. All other options are unchecked. On EGHI as soon as I look south, fps drop to 2 or 3! After disabling Vector, the problem disappears. Am I alone with this issue? Is there a possible solution (e.g. some files to put Off?)? Thank you, Richard.

Hey guys so I am getting this error still after I thought I had fixed it by disabling full screen optimization. p3d v5 hf2 its only happening when I fire up the qw 787 default aircrafts it’s fine. driver 416.14 should I run a sfc/scannow?? thanks mike

just thought it was important to note Traffic Global Early Access for P3D has been updated, i really like this addon - saved me a lot of time - sorta like not making GBs of ortho - when MFS is here with streaming data, & you can add your very own flight plans into your AI flight database, one of my favourite addons - with AILRP.

Ide post this in the qw forums. but ide never get a response as usual. so I’m asking here. ive tried everything uninstall/ reinstalling and ticking the HD panels check box. and it does not seem be set to HD panels in the sim. Thanks mike

Since FSDT's support interest seems to be waning, I would like to know how many users of GSX have had the following issue and if so, how, if at all did you resolve it; When activating a jetway, either to the aircraft or before departure, there is a red light, some times 2 lights, one in each corner of the jetway, above the door, which would flash (in FSX) to indicate the jetway is in motion. In P3d v5 (my install anyways), they remain off. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

And it was fabulous! I will not be getting rid of P3dv5 any time soon. As I am a tubeliner guy, nothing beats P3dv5 as of now (my opinion of course). It was even better than I remembered with my short flight in the PMDG 737. Cheers, Pete

I have been trying for weeks now to try to get ANY type callout program to work on my P3Dv4.5. I really miss the guy/gal telling me how close I am to CRASHING....I don't like the "Pull-up....Pull-up" or the "Terrain...Terrain"... messages constantly ...I would just like to hear a soothing voice telling me 100...50....25...10....touchdown.... !!! Hello, I have P3D version 4.5 installed, specifically version 4.5.12.30293. I have seen that on the P3D website I have the option to download an updated version, specifically version 4.5.14.34698. I would like to know if: a) Is it worth installing this new update? b) Can P3D be updated without having to uninstall the old version together with all installed addons? Thanks in advance a greeting
