VATSIM seems awfuly quiet this week... dunno if it has anything to do with MSFS, but it seems the P3D guys are still flying... maybe the MSFS guys don't know how to VATSIM VFR... I love my P3D addon aircraft... Faisal

Hi This is regarding the Aerosoft P3D A320. When I'm coming in to land, if there is a problem with the weather and the "baro reference" is not remaining still, then the copilot doesn't seem to move on - and it therefore useless - it just repeats itself. Is there somewhere I can set the barometric's, then I can get the copilot to move on on the checklist. Having said that, it's not on a checklist, it's just like it's saying that it's not to do it's job any more. Thanks, Gaz

Maybe remedy is well known and i am just slow, but found out that setting shadows quality to LOW eliminate any kind of ground/cockpit flickering when changing camera angle. I always had shadows settings set to ULTRA and always experienced that annoying flickering when moving my virtual head. My sim is set to generate shadows for plane, ground and clouds only. Hello. I installed MSFS2020 few days ago and looks like it broke something in P3D5. There is known simconnect issue with MSFS but I wonder how it would affect P3D? I cannot start Ezdok (message saying "trying to connect" forever), JetMax module does not work either. Any suggestion how to fix it is appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Hi everyone ! As said in the title i've got a lot of stutters in P3D v5, never happened in v4.5, it's only in the air like passing 10.000ft then it starts and it's very annoying. I tried to tweak the nvidia inspector, the p3d.cfg, uninstall the software but nothing works.. This is my specs: i7 9550H 2.6/3.4; Nvidia Geforce 1660ti and 8Go ram. I use Active sky, chase plane, altitude software for IVAO, PMDG 737ngxu, vRyr software, GSX and ORBX global, vector, openlc

Hey everyone, New here and I'm having a issue with my P3D v4.5 where the ai and default aircraft are showing all green lights even the beacon. I have UTL/FLAI installed, not sure what is causing this. My friend sent me his halo.bmp to try and fix it but that didn't work either. Not sure what to do here and would appreciate any help you can give me. Many thanks.

Hello all, So the other day I was doing a Jetva flight on VATSIM from EGKK - EGJJ with the Aerosoft A320 Pro, Active Sky on, OBS recorder on, Blue Sky tracking on, Chaseplane and TrackIR on, all normal and running perfect as it does. The next day I decide to fly back from EGJJ - EGKK. Now I have touched nothing in the sim at all, no settings alterations nothing, just quit as normal, PC off overnight and most the next day, loaded up normally with the previously mentioned addons, and when I move my head around or change view (I have shortcut keys set on chaseplane) it stutters like mad, and then eventually my ORBX scenery is flat, no 3d buildings or trees apart fr…

Hi, Just tried some rusty flights with the mighty Dash8 and besides my always 125mhz controller issues (i have the brilliant software) from ORBX LDDU to T2G EDDM i notice wheel sunctions to the ground and also major stutters in flight liked it followed me. Hi all, with full enthusiasm I jumped from P3dV4 to P3DV5 last weekend and was very happy to see my frames doubling up from 15 to 30 fps. So far so good, unfortunately I noted directly after a vanilla installation that there were kind of stutters and cloud flickerings. I did install all addons, which i previously used in P3V4 (ORBX, Flsabs, Airport Sceneries) to go for a first test flight and it is almost unflyable despite the good fps. My settings are more less medium (no EA, texture max 1024, Radius settings all medium etc). as my hardware is not the best (see below) and my VRAM is just about 3 GB of 5,5GB available. Hi guys, for some time now, I am tempted to buy an mcp for my flight sim to get a more immersive experience. The cp flight unit resembling the Collins mcp is on the top of my list. It’s plug and play and with a driver it should work in the sim, if I have read correctly. Recently I switched to P3Dv5 and I cannot find anywhere whether the cp flight mcp will work in that simm. I used to be able to switch my P3D Maule M7 Garmin 500 to advance to any other leg in my flight plan, but no more. Steps I used are: FPL>activate cursor>Scroll down to a fix for leg after current leg>menu>activate leg using enter button. The Garmin 500 would then leave current leg and go to selected fix to start desired leg. This worked great until recently when I tried to set up a flight plan on my Electronic Flight Bag. Now I cannot activate the selected leg i want to jump to, even with EFB not running. After selecting Enter to fly the desired leg, G500 ignores my request and continues flying the fight plan. Hi all, I have recently upgraded from the 7700K to the 10900K and I would like to share this observation. For years we have been complaining that FSX/P3D do not utilize all CPU threads. This image below proves that P3Dv5 is using all cores a very positive sign that of how much P3D has evolved since its first iteration.

Hello guys, I've got a question. Why are many aircrafts in EGKK on vatsim parked in buildings when they are on parking positions. Other taxi left or right of the taxiways. I use UK2000 EGKK but are the other sceneries so different that the parking spots are on different places? And which scenery is the best and the real one for Gatwick?

Hopefully, this is the right forum for this question. I am operating a new installation of P3D (v4,5), with four ORBX products installed (inside P3D: - NA Pacific Northwest; - Global open LC North America; - Global BASE Pack. And; - Global Vector. All report to being engaged in the Scenery section, and they are prioritized at the top of the list scenery elements (in the above order). The problem is that operating the sim, none of the ORBX scenery are operating. I confirmed this by "unchecking" them in Scenery and running the sim without them -- no change versus when they are "checked". Does anyone have an idea on what I'm doing w…

Tried to fly in P3d v4.5 today, and when I loaded it, it said the following: "There are multiple objects with the same title name. They must have unique title names." NOW, I've had this before on individual plane liveries, and I've been able to find it, and correct it. However, this is DIFFERENT! When I click on the message, it goes through EVERY SINGLE PLANE AND LIVERY in my sim (over 300 total). Even the default LM planes, drones, etc. are mentioned. It doesn't miss a single one. It refers to SimObjects and Airplanes, but I've checked that folder and there are no multiple title names. Everything looks normal...and I certainly didn't change anything. Th…

I bought EU England the day it came out but not used it for years because of the RAM and FPS hit. Since v5 is a good performance boost, I was wondering. 1) Is EU England that much better than OLC EURO? 2) Is it a bad VRAM hit? 3) How big is its FPS hit is it these days? Just did an easyjet flight from EHAM (FT) to EGGP (DD) what a fantastic flight it was, but go me thinking about EU England. Thank you.

I just added a evo 970 plus 1TB NvMe M.2 to my rig and did a clean install of P3D V5 today. Does that download from today at LM incorporate the HF2? or do i need to still down load that and install? Thanks......

Good day! I have recently bought Active Sky for P3D V4, and cannot seem to get my weather radar to work in any aircraft. I have updated my sim (i.e P3DV4.5 HF3) along with all of my aircraft with no luck. In addition, I installed the XGauges for all my aircraft with again no luck. Further more I made sure where I went, the ActiveSky map was showing Red on the map, though nothing on any of my weather radars. I tried to click test in my PMDG 747, with no audible sounds, just the WINDSHEAR warning in the EICAS. Any ideas? Thanks in Advance

I am running Prepar3d v4,5 on a three 1080p monitor setup. While my computer is setup to operate the three monitors (as one wide Nvidia surround display), using a 1080ti card, every time I load/run Prepar3d, the two side monitor power off. They otherwise work as expected in other applications. As such, the View Group Management function only recognizes a single monitor, not allowing me to see the various multi-monitor options (eg., triple screen display). Can anyone advise what I should be doing such that the monitors don't shut-down on loading/starting Prepar3d? Any advise is appreciated, Brian
