Hi I have a strange problem. All my precipitation is gone. No rain or snow even if it raining/snowing heavily. This happens with True Sky enabled or disabled and also independent from the weather add on I am using (I tried AS, FSGRW and default). I also tried already to reinstall Client and Content and it is still the same. Anybody had a similar problem before?

I had accidentally installed P3D v4.5 in the Program Files menu when I first bought the program and had been using REX SkyForce 3D. After I recently re-installed into a dedicated C:\Lockheed Martin\ directory, and after re-installing REX Sky Force 3d (most recent edition) also in its own C:\ directory, REX keeps loading as if I never changed the settings. Simulator directory still points to the previous Program Files directory and any other changes I made have to be re-entered each time I start Sky Force as if I had never made them in the first place - despite manually and automatically backing up settings. Hi everyone, Can an owner of this scenery send me the EGKK_img_spring.bgl (.off) file from the scenery folder? Somehow I thought my script xml had become corrupted as the scenery manager would not “hold” summer (and the airport had no ground poly). A look in the scenery folder showed summer as “off” and no “spring” file at all so selecting the new season seems to have deleted the spring file (and I know it was there as I have used the airport in spring mode) and selecting summer would not delete the .off from the .bgl to activate it. Strangely a full reinstall did not fix the issue. After faffing about for about an hour I discovered that v115 ships with an …

Having used SF3D for cloud textures and models, and the ASCA for dynamic sky colours for almost a year, I feel that Envtex clouds combined with ASCA better suit my personal flavour. I have read the tutorial for combining all of these programs for sim, but I am just thinking of whether I can make good use the REX cloud MODELS but using ENVTEX clouds with ASCA integration. I can’t see this combination in the tutorial therefore I am curious about its practicability. Hello - Finally got the 2004 Windows update yesterday, but now every time I start up my computer I get a window error: Windows cannot find Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.GamingApp_2007.........XboxAppServices.exe. I would attached the screenshot but I don't see an option to attach a file. Any idea how to get rid of this? On the good side my 8 GB graphics now shows 7.1 GB of free space where before it only showed 6.6 GB. Cheers, Pete

Good morning, I'm trying to do some ferry flights with the Twin Otter to Antarctica. The twotter has 4 fuel tanks - Center1, Center2, RightTip, and LeftTip. The two center tanks are the default tanks. No switch is needed to use those. The two tip tanks do, however, need to be turned on to work - found that one out the hard way. I have added to ferry tanks - LeftAux and RightAux - to the aircraft config file. Do I need to add a switch to turn on the auxiliary tanks or will they activate automatically? Thank you. colin

I decided to reinstall P3D and bought V5, i have 40-60FPS in SoCal with Orbx add ons which is great but looks like Fs9 default to me.. And all my sliders in settings are full.. What would be you suggestion after a clean install of P3D V5 i mean from tweaks in .cfg to add-ons.. Im using REX Direct.. My Laptop Specs (I know Laptops sucks, but its the only choice i have right now): CPU: i7 9750H RAM: 16GB DDR4 GPU: RTX 2070 MAX Q DESIGN 256GB SSD where the sim is installed.. I'm looking for a P3d v5 (hot fix 2) compatible E-195. Based on some reviews I purchased and installed Virtualcol's version, but it's functionality is, well, adequate, but after flying Wilco publishing's e-195 in fsx, I was hoping there was a comparable version compatible with P3d v5. I know Feel There has one that WAS compatible, but the latest hot fix has rendered many of it's features in operative. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Land at an airport and AI traffic is just randomly parked on taxiways and a few aircraft parked incorrectly at terminals. If I reload the scenery or traffic they all position correctly so its not an afcad issue. I have seen this happen at different developers airports FSDT JFK and Flightbeam MSP and even Flytampa BOS for example so I cannot say its a certain developers issue. I do limit AI traffic to 150 with FSUIPC and thats about the only thing thats changed in the last few weeks. I used to fly with no limit but I struggle to see how that could be causing this. The workaround is to just keep reloading my scenery when Im on final but I was wondering if anyone else has se…

At certain airports like FB's KSFO, Flytampa's Dubai, and a few others. Whenever I set the time to night, my aircraft is like almost completely black with on details at all. This wasn't the case before. It really breaks the immersion when trying to set up a night time flight because of this. Is this an issue on LM's part of with the 3PD? I have tried with the PMDG 747, 737, and FSLabs A320. So it's not that. The cause is coming from either P3D v5 itself or the airport needs to be updated? I've read several threads about this lately. I've seen it a coupe of times in the past, but then I had a long period of not seeing them at all. The other day, I decided to tweak the shadow settings. I'm pretty sure I didn't change anything else, but I may have fat fingered something. I tried to start a flight out of KMIA and ended up with the DXGI hung error. I thought it was a fluke, so I tried it again. Same thing within about 4 minutes of starting the flight while still C&D at the gate. I threw in the towel. I tried the same flight tonight, and got the same thing. I checked Windows Update, and found that I had just received 2 updates in prep for 2004. I uninstalled…

Hi, I am playing P3D v5 and I suddenly get 18fps. I did removed P3D.CFG and all other stuff that I can find on internet. Specs

Just curious if you think P3d will UPDATE the program in any way within the next month. The "impending" new sim will debut in a month and many simmers are pretty excited about it. I, for one, am slowing down all P3d addon purchases now...and still trying to find the right combination of settings and tweaks to make V5 run without crashing, excessive stuttering (at some point in the flight), or excessive pauses (at some point in the flight). What would be welcome from P3d would be another update or hotfix that addresses these performance concerns so that we can have 2 active sims on our systems. Since I mentioned this worked and it was suggested I put together a brief tutorial... this is a method you can use to relocate your Prepar3d v4 Add-ons directory away from your system drive to keep it from, for example, eating up space on a small SSD. I've tried this and it works just fine. The first step is just to relocate the directory to its new location. (I use MultiCommander for things like this because it's easier to see what's going on, but you can totally do this with Explorer). I don't think I'm finding anything in my searches, but wanted to ask and be sure. I have Misty Fjords Tongass Fjords X installed in P3D v4.5 (likely to be v5 soonish once some addon installers catch up). It's very nice despite its age, but the tedious install for P3D and fact that I don't use this for anything other than PASI (I fly the Dash 8 and 737 almost exlusively) has made we wish/wonder if there are other alternatives. Oh what I'd give for integration of Tongass Fjords X just being integrated in to some simple installer for P3D v5...and even better of Orbx Central or similar! So with that said, are there any other options for Sitka at this time?

I have an issue with GSX level 2: in many default airports (for example Paris CDG, Prague, Manchester, Lisbon, Budapest, Denver) jetways and parking positions are placed 50 feets above the ground, as you can see in the picture. Follow me car works well instead. How can I fix this issue? Thank you.

Hi, just got a new system with a RTX 2080ti, I9-10900k, z490 from Asus. I installed the FSL 320, PMDG NGXu and 747 as well as the a2a Bonanza. The problem have now is that P3 is not starting, nothing happens after I double click on the P3 icon. Do you have any ideas what I can try? Thanks Bernd

Hi guys, i have seen today,that the Rift S is now available again here in Germany for 450,-€. Can you recommend it for P3D v4 and v5? I wear glasses,is there enough distance to the lenses,so that they will not be scratched? Is it easy to set up the Rift S in both Sims? Hi, Looking for some input from you all on ATC programs, now I am not looking to start a who is best war, so let me say what I am looking for the program to do and maybe something exists like this, that can be recommended. So, I honestly am not looking to have my own flights controller by ATC every time I fly, I fly mostly GA in and out of smaller airport, but what i want is a program that will do a better job of controlling AI AC in the air.
