Hi , I am wondering is there a way to increase the viewing of traffic on the ND on P3d V5. In FSX and FSX-Steam, you can set-up the maximum distance of AI traffic being generate by FSX or from UtLive, for example 100 nm. This will allow you to see the traffic on your ND TF radar. Does anyone here have this airport installed via the add-on.xml method? Could you please show me how it's done. There are still certain devs who insist install into the sim's root folder. I wish FlyTampa, Taxi2gate, Drzewiecki, etc. would conform to the add-on.xml method which Flightbeam, FSDT and Imaginesim follows! They make it extremely easy.

Could someone give me an explanation on how I can limit the amount of AI I have for better performance?

I am curious to know what you guys think the maximum out VRAM P3D v5 can take with maxed settings at 4k resolution, including editing the Prepar3D.cfg file and using TEXT_EXP_MAX=10, and other hidden tweaks? I want to gauge this and take the max VRAM amount into consideration when purchasing my next graphics card. I'm considering 24GB as it seems like 12GB won't be sufficient enough.

If anyone is willing to try; I got CTD twice in a row on the same flight around same area, 5 mins before descent. The route is from LDDU AMUG2E AMUGO L611 LASDU/N0468F360 DCT BAXON DCT SRN DCT PUNSA UL153 SOSAL DCT UNKIR UM729 DJL DJL8E LFPO. First flight was last night in real time, and this morning real time, and the CTD happened around 5 mins before TOD. Same as last night. Addons that are used are: P3D v5 (latest), PMDG 737NGXU, FS2CREW 737ngxu, active sky+asca, orbx eu, vector, navigraph, airports in the area aerosoft LIMC, jetstream design LIML. I don't get CTD that often, so I am wondering if anyone could help. Thanks in advance.

Hi! When I take a look at the rex sky force weather menu (your favorite airport) it says that in London there will be clear sky, no clouds. But when I start the game, there are plenty of heavy clouds. It also says that the weather have been updated. And i also wait for a few minutes. And when i reach an 8000 meters, it´s NEVER blue sky. It is always hazy and you can´t see the ground. Even up on 10000m this is a problem. Can someone help me whit this problems? Sincerely Axel

As title I have saitek/Logitech radio panel and used it every flight in v4 having spent 99 pounds on it gutted there’s no drivers yet for v5 so I hold my hands up I modified it to work in v5 its not perfect and not working great sometimes its on sometimes not so my question is will or could this of caused the vcruntime140 problems I’m facing? any Feedback welcome 🙂 Matt

just wondering @Kaiii3 at a few airports I would like more AI flights, & with Super Traffic Board I am continuously using Depart Now or Approach Now with ATC on - very cool in heli! can I link in my TG aircraft with your flight plans? & for best experience - I would also be happy to $purchase payware AI aircraft to fill the gaps. cheers

I have looked at all the possible prepar3d v5 locations and cannot figure out where this add-ons list saves to. My A2A c182 is installed, but there's no folder for it inside of Prepar3D v5 Add-ons folder at all. So how is it picking it up if its not in there? share images free

Anyone managed to "port" T2G EDDM to v5?

I know, ambitious request, but its frankly needed for me. I have friends that have the exact same specs I do and they run P3Dv5 with 0 problems. I match their settings, and I run out of vram immediately with the default scenario. I just reinstalled v5 after a clean windows install, and would like it to work. My Specs: (ASUS GL753VE LAPTOP) i7-7700HQ 16GB DDR4-2400MHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti I don't know why others can run it fine with the same specs I have but I can't. Even unmodified P3Dv5 runs out of VRAM with the default scenario. Some help would be appreciated. Bonus points if you manage to get TrueSky/EA to work on a 4GB GPU! Thanks.

I just built a new computer and copied over my old AIG-OCI folder to my p3d addon location. Is there a file I need to edit to get my AI to show up in the sim?

Hi all, I have currently all global ORBX products but I'm debating on if I should get openLC Africa as its the last day of the 20% discount. What is your opinion about it? I got kind of worried after I watched the trailer, because the trailer was for 95% showing the photoreal areas, which are only a small part of this huge area. This makes me fear that the developer or video producer is not as proud to show the non photoreal areas. For those of you who have got it, is it on par with openLC South America? Greetings, I have the latest version of ProjectFly 4.0 installed and it is pretty nice. However, I'm having a problem booking custom flights. Once in a great while I can book one, but most times I can't. When I click on the Dispatch button I just get a little red circle with a line through it. Same thing when trying to book a scheduled flight. I placed a support ticket on July 6th and have followed up with it a couple of times. Have yet to get an answer. Have also placed a couple of posts on their Facebook page asking someone to look at my support ticket. No luck with that, either. Regards, Scott

I'm impressed enough with P3D V5 that I thought I'd share this. My personal standard benchmark in P3D is to takeoff from London Heathrow in an airliner (e.g., QualityWings 787) and fly around London and southern England at 3,000 to 5,000 feet. I use ORBX True Earth Great Britain, and my experience is that this is one of the most stressful scenarios I can find in P3D. In P3D V4, with the sliders at moderate settings, I usually get something in the range of 15 - 23 FPS. In P3D V5, with all sliders set to max (i.e., full right), except "Autogen and scenery draw distance" which is set to very high (one step less than max), I get a rock solid 30 FPS when VSYNC i…

Hi, I'd like to have a separate tab for livestreaming that looks like oldschool IFE maps. I'd just like to have the P3D default map with a plane on top to show position, undock the gauge and boom. Hi guys, is there anyone Having very Good knowledge on VR settings for P3DV4 ? I need some help to use my setup properly in VR with Oculus Tray Tool. Setup: RTX 2080 Ti 11Gb/I7 9700K/ 32GB Ram at 3000mhz/ Oculus Rift How can I use my GPU and CPU with the optimal capacity And how can I make the blurry sight disappear in order to have a clear sight in the headset.
