I just bought my first RFscenerybuilding for P3D v5 from Simmarket (Oklahoma and Turin) and when I went to download the scenery my virus protection blocked the download and saying it may harm my computer. Does anyone else have this when downloading RFscenerybuilding scenery? Is this one of those false positive things? Should I tell Simmarket about it? I also get a message from Microsoft Defender saying that the app is not signed by it's publisher.

After updating to HF2 I noticed there is at least a 20 FPS difference between these two planes. Pmdg leads by 20 FPS in spot view. I’m guessing it’s because they released a micro update specifically for HF2. before the 2nd hotfix both the planes were about the same in FPS. Can someone confirm this? also on an unrelated note the AIG penalty is too much. I’m using WAMA to make them as static objects for peripheral immersion.

Does any one have it working in V5? I haven't seen anything on the FS2Crew site at all as far as an update.Or do I just reinstall it and point to my P3DV5 folder.

I recently REMEMBERED a possible performance tweak that I read about years ago...that just might apply to P3d...probably all versions! I'm running V5 and last week I applied this so-called "tweak" and since then it seems my sim has run without a crash, or a pause that made me shut the sim down. What is it? It's Anti-Virus "specific EXCLUSIONS". I'm running ESET NOD 32 Anti-Virus, and since I don't know exactly when it scans or affects CPU performance, I applied "exclusions" to My entire P3dv5 folder (It's on its own SSD). I am having issues with CYYZ, namely texture morphing in the vicinity of the airport. I've read previous topic posts concerning this issue, and have attempted the following to revolve it. I disabled "LandClass" via the FlyTampa Configurator to no avail. I also ran a repair on v5 via the add/remove function on Windows. I also reinstalled my client for v5. Hi All, Since I started learning and playing with the FSLabs A320 I've come to realise how much I love being able to hear the cabin crew announcements (specific to each airlines) and it's inbuilt interactions with GSX. Whilst I realise that GSX interaction is probably unlikely to ever happen, I started looking at options for software that might bring the cabins of my PMDG birds to life in the same manner here on V5. I've done a search but it didn't turn up much, not relevant to the last couple of years (and certainly not V5). I am familiar with FSCaptain but does anybody know of any other packages or ways of getting cabin announcements into PMDG ai…

Active Sky has been updated today. I tried two flights afterwards and at least, in my opinion, it's a little harder on the FPS than the last version. I could be wrong, so see if you feel the same. Haven't noticed much difference in clouds or the way weather is depicted. Stan

Hi I have bought a headset for use with P3D. This is Bluetooth. I use my P3D with some addons and I find that if there is any sound from the addon (for example GSX), it ignores the Bluetooth headset and goes for the ordinary sound laptop speakers. The P3D sound remains in the headset - it's only the addon that has a problem here. Is there another Headset I can buy that overtakes my laptop completely when attached via Bluetooth?. Thanks, Gaz

I am experiencing issues with my KTNP scenery in V5. The airport is compatible with the new sim per 29Palms, and I did select P3Dv5 when downloading this product but in the sim, the main runway 8/26 is really blurry and has a green texture to it. I do not have any ORBX scenery installed yet, and this is the only add-on I have in V5 so far. So I was wondering if maybe someone on here has KTNP downloaded and it’s working fine? Because I’m having issues with it. I did shoot 29Palms a message but no response as of yet so I’m just trying to see if I can figure this out on my own. Thanks

So I just found out that when it rains it really pours! Whenever it rains it just goes straight through the whole airplane lol. That’s a interesting bug but funny! I’m sure someone has reported that to Lockheed already 😆

I was just wondering if you fly to or from an airport that has a "special attachment" to your life! I just love flying to and from Liverpool, UK, because I've always loved the Beatles. I mean I really loved almost all of their wonderfully creative music since I saw them on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964! I remember it so well. I love flying to Europe....Poland (EPWA), Krakow, Berlin, Frankfort, Bucharest (LROP) and Prague. All places that have very special meaning to me because I've loved visiting every one of those places. Hello - Can anyone confirm that these are the only aircraft listed under the P3dv5 menu in NavDataPro: Aerosoft A318/A319/A320/A321/A330 PMDG 737 Aerosoft CRJ Professional I was surprised not to see the MaddogX or QW 787 listed for v5. These are listed for P3d v4 and FSX respectively. Cheers, Pete

For those who have problems of not closing P3Dv5 HF2, after a flight with Flight 1 GTN 750/650 installed in the aircraft before shutdown P3Dv5, this problem has been resolved with the just released update to version 2.21. Thanks to Flight 1 support employee Tiberiu, who found and resolved the problem quickly and adequately after various test. Great support! Jac

HI All Couple of days in with my new P3D v5. Extensive testing and slowly adding Orbx scnery. P3D was very unstable when I first installed it - nt.dll crashes I think at that point. Then I took advice from and let P3D regenerate the p3d config file. This seems to have settled it down a lot. I am now running mostly high or max settings with truesky on ultra. I have an oldish 4690K PC with a GTX1080 graphics card and 32Gb RAM. My frame rates run between 30 and 70fps even in fairly complex areas (like S England in Orbx England and EGHI and EGKA scenery). VRAM useage (not in big cities and add on airports though) is around 4Gb So all good there - may was 6…

Hi- I've manually added this to [TERRAIN] in my .cfg file. I have High Res Textures checked in P3D and am using ORBX Oregon. VRAM does not change (using Shift + Z) when using this edit which leads me to believe that it's no longer valid? Thanks, Mark

HI all.. Back with another wonderful problem...and going crazy over it. I have Simsounds installed on my MAIN P3D PC, playing cockpitsounds as gear, spoilerwind etc. Problem is that when I run P3D, windows suddently reduces the sound for this APP, as well as PROSIM Audio. Pressing Q, and thereby muting P3D, the sounds comes up again. It is also visible on the soundvolume tabs, where I will see a outgreyed tab at the volume point I have set, and a normal tab at 0% sound. Pressing Q, the normal tabs moves to the point of "normal" volume, where there were a greyed out tab. I have searched and found some solutions, but non of them works. I have tried setting the co…

So I've always wanted a good payware quality F-117 or B-2 bomber for P3D. I figure that it would probably be too hard to get the data for them since they are classified and that may be part of the reason why it hasn't been done before, but I am curious if something like this could be released how popular do you think it would be? I don't know what the percentage of people are who only fly civilian aircraft and aren't interested in military stuff.

Hello everyone. I've got my SODE 1.7.1 suddenly to not being active, and when I click the button Activate! it doesn't fix it, just keeps SODE NOT ACTIVE within a red box. How can I troubleshoot this? Have already fully UNinstalled and then installed again, doesn't change. Thanks.

I've just found imaginesims' WSSS (although can't seem to purchase it via my usual place on SimMarket) however asside from that, are there any other offerings out there? Japan? Bangkok? So I have found there are only two of my programs that do not work with V5. Active Sky for P3Dv5, and 29Palms KTNP Airport for P3Dv5. Other than that, everything else including UTL seems to be working. Just gotta iron out some bugs and I’ll be in business! I do notice if I power up the sim after my computer has been shut down, I initially get a CTD. But after that it doesn’t crash so that’s something else I gotta figure out. Overall it’s a nice looking sim. I can tell right off the bat that my performance will be so much better. Also, it looks less game-ey if that makes any sense. I like it so far

Anyone tried both sceneries in P3DV5 and can compare performance. I have all the orbx regions including NC & SC however with the “want” to keep performance high when in VR I’m reluctant to pull the trigger on any of the TE sceneries. With P3DV5 H2 the performance is now good enough for VR to fly around SC & NC whereas with 4.5 my FPS got too low. There’s a nice bit of TE coastline coverage now which is beginning to temp me for VR. thx in advance. IM

I was about to take a flight to SEQM in the Pmdg NGXu and when I enter SEQM into the FMC I get an error that the airport is not found. How is it that an Airport that has been open for 8 years is not in the FMC for an aircraft that has been around for a year? Anyway, is there a free way to update this? I am not about to pay to subscribe to a service to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Pete
