Taking off and landing the view is jerky like missing frames or other...looking for some ideas.

Both of these scenery worked fine in P3d v5 (and still work in v4.5) but since doing a clean install with the v5 hotfix my sim stops loading at 5% trying to load a default a/c at CYQQ (even flying towards it, at about 10 miles the sim freezes), and at CYYJ it will take 3+ minutes to get past 5% but then at 74% (creating world-wide weather) the sim also crashes. I have no problems with any other add-on scenery in my collection! Has anyone else come across this problem with these scenery or had a similar problem and if so what is the cure?...I have tried numerous approaches to try and fix this but all I have concluded is that the problem lies with P3d v5 hf1. Hi - Today I did a complete reinstall of P3dv5 and I am having some crazy issues. The first airport I went to was CYVR default. I am getting massive flashes of all different colors. I have a picture but I can't see how to post something from my desktop. I went to KORD and didn't notice this issue, but I have no idea what is causing this. Any ideas would be great. Also, if someone can tell me how to attach the photo that would be great. Cheers, Pete

Last night saw the end of Flybe in my virtual airspace. It was a difficult decision, but the time had come to say goodbye. All of those Dash 8s and ERJs gone in the blink of an eye. Southampton is now a ghost town, and deep purple has vanished from aprons across the UK. On the plus side, at least there are now enough parking spots at Edinburgh for all of the other AI visitors early in the morning I still have a few gems that are no longer flying in the real world. A couple of VLM Fokker 50s operating for Cityjet. The WOW Air Airbus planes. That majestic Avro Vulcan XH558. One day they too will probably be gone, but for now they continue to grace the virtual skies in P3Dv…

Anyone tried Mega for V5? I am looking to get it but it doesn't appear that is compatible with V5 as per Aerosoft site.....I see MK studio is.....Any difference, experience....?

Hi- I've installed the V5 version of EnvTex/EnvShade and that all went fine. My question is, when you make adjustments to EnvTex, I presume you have to install that change and then restart V5? I see no 'on the fly' facility in this app. Any way around this? Thanks, Mark

HI All, I'm having an issue where sometimes changing the view causes a sudden drop of FPS to around 10. I leave it for a few minutes or pause and unpause and SOMETIMES the FPS are back to normal 40/50. I've read similar issues with other users but no fixes, does anyone have any advice? Cleared shaders / P3D.CFG etc. If I pause the SIM the FPS then shoot back up again but soon as I unpause the drop happens again? Cheers, Alex

Hello, a few days ago I bought the milviz king air 350i, but when choosing it in the simulator it comes out incomplete, at the moment they have not been able to solve anything in the milviz forum, so I ask here how I could solve it, I have other A2a products installed , Aerosoft, Fslabs and PMDG and they look good to me, they are only with the products that I have recently installed. I have P3D V4.5 latest version installed. a greeting

Hi Everyone. I wonder if you could clear up a little confusion on my part? I have my sim texture res at at 2048, does that set the cockpit textures to 2048 as well? Or is there a seperate config setting to maintain 4096 cockpit textures with sim textures at 2048? Thanks Stu

Against my better judgment, I'm still considering adding this to my hangar, but have the following questions (one of which I asked months ago and only got a partial answer). 1. Has the final final SP1 been released? 2. Have they upgraded the manual? 3. What is the format of the flight plan? This last one is crucial to me, as I make all my flight plans with Simbrief. How to add avionics sound in such way that after switching batteries sound will be played continuously ?

The Leonardo team has released a new open beta for HF2. In addition they announced the new EFB launching soon that will now be a freeware addition, including performance calculator and charts. 👍

Installed HF2 into P3Dv5 and have everything working well except, I now see airports with black runways. As I cruise along at tube liner flight levels most airports below have black runways and on arrival the runway textures load in on short short final. I’m thinking this is a computer memory problem but if I quickly flip views from inside to outside then back inside in the VC cockpit of an aircraft like the PMDG 747-400 or the Maddog I notice. all textures are loading without delay. Didn’t notice this before when using P3DV5 & HF1 My setup is: 5.1 CPU With 32g of 3600 DDR3 thx ICMan

It's been approximately two months since the release of v5, and "Ultimate Traffic Live" has yet to come out with an official installer. Therefore, I'm considering purchasing "Traffic Global," since it's compatible with v5. Any advice or recommendations? If you do own TG, how does it run? FPS friendly? When was the last update?

Hi, Asked this on the ORBX Support forum but wanted to try get more help from here also. Firstly, this issue has been reported by several users, and the fact it happens just with this software and no where else in P3D beleives me to think its an issue with the scenery itself. Orbx EGNM runs with fantastic frame rates, but every now and then for a period of around 1 minute the frames drop to 2/3 FPS and renders the scenery unuseable. This only happens at this airport, yet when running EGLL Aerosoft with the PMDG 747 online on VATSIM with no performance issues, clearly highlights a problem with the scenery. So all my aircraft have loaded for example PMDG and the 787 that are in the base folder, however after searching, re installing everything the correct way(I have to use my D drive as my C drive is full) I am having issues with any aircraft including the Aerosoft Airbuses not loading in P3D V4.5 and im about to pull my hair out.. Deleted the folders, did a complete reinstall according to each Developer and Lockheed's posts. I am still stuck with only aircraft in the P3D SimObjects folder. I would really appreciate if someone could help. I would greatly Appreciate it. Steve
