I know they haven't release a patch yet but are they usable in their current state ?

I was very curious as to what type of DISPLAY you use for P3d, and if you definitely see an advantage of one over the other. I've tried both and I'm still trying to decide if one is superior in clarity, FPS strength, stability. Thanks, Stan

OK, I am pretty sure there is a way to change this but I cant find it. ATC is referring to my C210 by flight number (Keeps calling me zero) ( kind of hurts my feelings being called a zero. 😞 )Anyway I have looked at the Aircraft.cfg file which is where I thought you put the tail number in and did install it there under ATC ID. But still I am called Zero not by my tail number. I am not sure if this is common to other AC in my fleet or not. Anyone got any ideas on how to have ATC call me by my tail number not zero? Hi, I am wondering if its possible to set up and maintain different Nvidia game profiles if I have P3Dv4.5 and P3Dv5 installed on the same PC? I believe in the NCP Program Settings tab of NCP, the same P3D.exe will be used for the P3D profile How have you gone about maintaining different profiles given the suggested advice is to start again on creating a v5 profile and not to use your existing v4.x profile? Based on some quick research it looks like Nvidia Profile Inspector could do the job but havent tried this yet. Any experience with this? thanks

Hmm , i must admit it might be coincident but my pagefile was set to manually 3072MB in windows 10 and after a "system control all drive change ) i am now in P3dv5 testing TE Netherlands with FT EHAM on max shadows setting in 4K with 2048 textures and the Maddog X with Dynamic lights and VRAM around 7.4GB with NO CTD using Chaseplane cameras and switching and moving all over netherlands with it. Same applies for KORD FSDT with DD Chicago X and ORBX KCGX. It looks stunning with all this engaged. Not a single CTD so far Shadows and water reflections all on moving at high speed on dawn and dusk with Chaseplane world camera (GPU set -150mhz in NVI and 77C …

There is a question which has been in my mind for a very long time ... When I save a flight, I choose a name and type it into "File Name". So far so good. But what the heck is the purpose of "Title". I see that it reads automatically the input of "File Name" but I could also give it another "Title". For what is this good for? Please, anybody enlightens me?

Hello - I have been to the Maddog forums and saw a post about this, but so far have not found a fix. Literally every time I land the maddog the plane skids off of the runway once I begin braking. This has happened in V4 and V5 and I don't understand why this happens. One post said to change the rudder axis to 90, which i did but same result. The plane literally skids out of control. I have no other airplane that does this and in all the hours I have flown in real life this has never happened (that would be bad) even on some of my not so great landings over the years. Any ideas? So, I uninstalled Global Base, Vector, Landclass, Regions, Trees, Flora, Buildings, ORBX airports, city scenes, and any third party sceneries, taking P3dv4.5 scenery back to default. Then I installed on a separate SSD TE Great Britain North, Central and South, together with every single ORBX Great Britain airport. All of this went flawlessly. I can honestly say that I like TE+airports way better than all the Global, etc. and airports. Performance has been the same with identical addons (AS4, ASCA, A2A, and Ultimate Traffic) and identical settings. Al in all I really like ORBX this way.

This problem just started today. I know about the EZDoc thing with turning off the fuselage shake, it's not that. I have tried 3 different aircraft all do the same thing. I don't think it's my stick because I have 3 of them and the problems is there no matter which one I use. The rudder works fine in the air and You can see it move if viewing from the outside. Also with the A2A Comanche I can see the nose wheel steering but the plane goes straight. I have re-calibrated the joysticks, it didn't help. I don't know what else to check.

I was doing some testing AA settings, So I from 8xmsaa to 4xssaa, and noticed That I went from 7.2gb vram using 8xmsaa down to 6.5gb of vram using 4xssaa don’t know if this has been mentioned before but this is great. mike

Can anyone kindly advise how to get rid of a duplicate scenery bgl layer that is floating on top of one another at Thai Creations VABB for FSX which I am using Lorby's P4AO to generate this airport for P3Dv4.5? First screenshot, one side of the aircraft the stairway vehicle is submerged, on the other side the refuelling truck appears normal. Ok guys, this is my fresh "post crash" flight story in P3D(v4.5HF3), while there are some technique issue I would love if someone could explain, that's not the main point for me to post this topic. Like all story, it starts as a routine flight, I plan a small hop from RJFF to RJKA with feelthere E170, after my previous 2 uneventful legs from RJCH-RJBE-RJFF in FSL319 and P3D restarted. My DP from RJFF is MORIO3, 2 rectangle right turn after taking off from RW34 to heading south. I have been dealing with lots of FPS fluctuation lately in p3dv4.5 so I decided to make some adjustments in the Nvidia Control Panel to lock my FPS at 30. That worked great, but the only problem is panning the camera is not smooth anymore and I am getting some screen tearing now. I'll attach some screen shots to show the settings I changed. Whether I turn Vsync on or off in the sim makes no difference in screen tearing. I installed P3D on a separate drive, not on C drive where my Win10 OS resides.. and yet my C drive bloated up.. when i click on storage settings, it shows P3D content, client and scenery have occupied 100 GB.. no place to breathe for my other apps.. but when i check program files, roaming, local and other LM folders, the foot print is very small.. just a few GB.. why does it still show as 100 GB on C drive?

I read so many nice comments about upgrading to Win 10 Pro v2004 and it's effect on P3D v4.5 that I did the upgrade. I am so disappointed and absolutely frustrated. When I loaded up P3Dv4.5 to test So far not so good. My FPS dropped down to 4.2 . I haven't been able to get them back up. It is impossible to fly at 4 FPS. My computer is not a slouch, check my signature. So I reverted back to v1909. The frame rates are still at 4.X. So then I tried reinstalling P3D v4.5. That didn't do any good either. Based off of the overwhelming number of "buy it!"s I read on the TFDi 717, and the otherwise lack of recent reviews (2+ years ago), I decided to cave and buy it. I bought it somewhat naively assuming that the CTD issue must be relegated only to the most degenerate of pilots, but found myself landing more frequently on the desktop than the runway not long after my first flight.
