Hi-I have looked high and low on the ORBX forums (and elsewhere) for the answers to my questions as applicable to P3Dv4.5. I couldn't find a straight answer anywhere. I only use ORBX scenery products. I have all the global products always installed, and then add the land class, region and individual airport products for the hemisphere where I'm flying. Basically I install the whole ORBX shebang that can be used underneath a single airport, except for True Earth. I am looking at purchasing the True Earth series, but for the life of me can't determine where, how or even whether True Earth integrates with the rest of ORBX. Just tried beta 4 at a default airport with default aircraft at a airport v5 with severe thunderstorms.In cockpit it’s all fine But when I pan outside looking up to Severe stuttering and fps drop.Then pan towards the ground and fps is high again.Locked at 30fpsI shutdown asp3d and fps are solid smooth at 30 also.Anyone else having this issue?

I'm curious those who fly long haul flights like 10+ hours. Do you actually sit there the entire time to monitor everything? I love flying, but I can't imagine just sitting in front of the computer for that many hours, especially during the cruise phase (after ToC and before ToD). If so, what do you do during those long hours?

The last 4 to 6 weeks i cannot reset LAAP to work with my P3D V4, they also do not answer at my questions, website seems still active, but maybe they intend to stop ? anybody knows ?

Hi All, Im using the free FSWX software (VATSIM WXR Sync) with REX Sky Force. On the ground the clouds look fantastic and quite full and puffy. I know you've probably heard this before, and I've actually had this problem a few times before, but this time nothing at all is working. I've tried everything under the sun: every forum thread online (including all the related black screen ones), reinstalled p3d 3 times, removed all addons, updated all drivers, updated windows, deleted generated files, deleted cfg files, deleted shader files, disabled all antivirus, and disabled windows real-time protection. It happens in any scenario, even default. I can hear the aircraft noise. If I right-click I can not access the pop up menu thing. I can only hit escape to end the scenario etc. I reinstalled the NVIDIA driver and it …

Recently I am keep getting this message from P3D: "P3D has detected non-sequential layer ordering within the Scenery Library list. Would you like P3D to attempt to repair this issue? YES or NO I usually click YES. Then every time when I start P3D, it starts all over again. How shall I correct this issue?🤔 Thanks

Does anyone know if these French developers are planning to update their P3D v4 version of Courchevel to v5? I know Orbx have an Xplane 11 version, are Orbx planning a P3D v5 version? Seeing as I already own LLH Creations version an upgrade would be cheaper. Thanks

Hi All Eric has added a change to his models for Prepar3D V4 where the logo, nav and cabin lights can be always on by making a change to the fuel section in the aircraft config file. Has anyone made these changes to the aircraft config file and if so, what figures did you use for the tank positions etc for the additional tanks? Cheers Craig

Thankfully one of my favorite aircraft in real life and flight sim, the RealAir Citabria/Decathlon/Scout, transferred quite well into P3D V4.5. Everything seems to work well with the exception of the Config Panel utility. It is located in my Lockheed Martin/P3D V4/RealAir/scout07 folder. My MVAMS works fine and also my Config Panel for the RealAir Legacy. I'm missing something here both literally and figuratively. I did some more research and came across ctb's post here relative to my problem. I tried to implement it, but I'm still missing something as nothing changed on my Citabria panel. I posted this on the ORBX forum, but I get no responses concerning it. Someone may eventually respond, but in the meantime, I thought I'd run it past members of this great forum. Recently, I've been getting this error when I start P3dV5.....FTXZZ_OLC_FixedAPT and it reference Global LC North America. I've uninstalled and reinstalled LC North America several times, and put it in both a separate library outside the sim and also within the sim. I can't get rid of it. What happened to that file? I would like to delete LC North America completely and reinstall it from scratch if that were possible (like a brand new purchase from Orbx without having to pay for it twic…

I have both p3dv4 and 5 on my system right now and I am wondering if it is possible to copy p3dv5's scenery folder into v4? I would like to have the updated default airports in v4. I am assuming v4 will read the scenery the same way regardless.

Hi! Can someone help me to find a good weather addon for p3d? I want an addon where I can from the begining of the flight see which runway I will take off from and landning on so I can prepare my flightplan after the weather. (I fly whit the project airbus so i don't have the opportunity to make a flightplan in the aircraft) I also fly VRF. Hi, Not sure at all how and why but after i made a texture change to 1024 , updated ORBX Objectflows , edit registry with tdrlevel=0 and tdrdelay=10 i have had Zero CTD in V5 even with all maxed out in FT KLAS City and airports options day and night. I am currently using P3Dv4.5 HF2 and planning to begin a gradual migration to v5 as developers release compatible versions. I went to P3D to get away from OOM's. In the past, if I have tweaked its been to get image quality and smoothness and not fps. I haven't bought V5 yet. In following the posts about v5, I am seeing references to having to adjust P3D settings to manage Graphics card RAM to avoid, "out of" conditions, Windows 10 2004 graphics card RAM management changes, Nvidia drivers optimized for DX12, etc. Even without intentionally overclocking my CPU and GPU, there are issues about with/without Hyperthreading, using available CPU turbo mode, Core affinity as…

I'm about to download P3D v5 for the first time...I'm a returning MSFS user. Does it have ATC? Or are there addons to enhance it? Many thanks, Ben

Does anyone here extensively use VR in P3D v5? I am interested in purchasing my first VR headset but not sure if the technology is ready yet. I'm concerned about resolution and framerates. I run the sim now currently on a 4K TV. Would playing through a VR headset give me the same level of detail? What are some good brands and model to look at that you guys can recommend?

Is there available anywhere a military ai program for P3Dv5? My Traffic works well for commercial airports but military traffic is sadly lacking. So far the Capt Sim C-130s and the Aerosoft F-16s and the Virtavia C-17s work well in v5. But taking off from bare military bases is a bummer. It would be nice to have some parked military aircraft ad traffic to encounter at those airfields. Noel

Hi folks, I’ve just been reusing the Realair Duke again after a long time in P3Dv4 and it’s still great. I know Realair is no more and no longer supported, but when I do the feathering check during the run-up checks, this almost always shuts one of the engines down - usually the starboard one. It also causes a massive RPM drop which shouldn’t happen according to the manuals. Has anyone else had this problem and is there any way of getting rid? Didnt know where else to post this so hope it’s the right place, cheers chaps

Hi everyone! As my title says, I have been having some severe problems using PRO-ATC/X. I love the difference it makes to the original ATC but every flight I do I get issues. I paste my flightplan in pro-atc ( get them from simbrief ), put them in my fmc, my route looks good and start my flight. People gave me the advice when the programs wants you to turn to another direction to use direct to waypoint. I do this but at some point there are no more waypoints in the pro atc other options. At that point it just gives me headings to make me go in to circles. One flight I finally got to my last waypoint and had to fly my star. Nope, Pro-ATC starts giving me headin…
