Is anyone else having this issue? All of my flights over, maybe 3 hrs seem to have this issue, where suddenly all AI just dissappers. And that's it, I'm alone in the skies. Unless I reload the AI by changing the time slightly. At first I thought it was the AI tools in another thread. But it has now happened twice, even without using them. I haven't found anything about this during a search. I use the AIG traffic program, and AI lights reborn, and most of my flights so far have been in the QW787. If any of that makes a difference. Hi. I'm trying to set up ChasePlane on a out-of-the-box Mooney Bravo. I have the A switch working, which is for sitting in the cockpit (see picture), but I'm having trouble setting up the outside viewing (S-key). I would want put the camera press an S key to see it from the side of the aircraft, for example, and move it, not just always looking at the aircraft (I might be looking forwards from a wing-view for example) Note that I have already moved the A-key and got it working, and the S key, by default takes me to the back of the aircraft and lets me change my view (left/right, outside), but the movement is that the camera to stay where it is, I can't move it. …

Hi all. I need to know where to save my Simconnect.xml file that I've created for my P3Dv4? I have my simulator on a separate SSD drive and my OS on its own SSD drive. Where do I save the Simconnect.xml i've created in word? Can the reply show the path to point it to? regards Jean-Paul

I have my own assignments, which include deleting almost all and reassigning my own for my throttles, side stick, and rudders. They are deleted sometimes when I install new software, and it is a headache to say the least, so I was hoping someone would guide me as to how to save the assignments for the next time I install something that deletes them. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Does anyone know if there is any updated scenery available for KPHX for p3dv4? Terminal 2 is no longer in use and Terminal 3 has been remodeled to include existing airlines from both of those prior terminals. I am considering purchasing Flightbeam's KPHX as well, although I am not sure if it is in there plans to update their scenery or not.

Hello All, When flying at altitude in P3DV4 I get numerous vertical thin lines showing. They look like aerials or masts except they are too numerous at times and are present in the desert and out of the ocean. I have screenshots but don't seem to be able to attach them. Hello to all, I really hope that anyone of you have knowings about the VRinsight CDU. I already know that VRinsight don't support their hardware anymore ... sad. But does maybe anyone of you know how to "config" the CDU? It works, my FCU works fine as well but I want/need more aircrafts. At the moment does only the PMDG 737/777 works. In installing the Real Air Beech Duke Turbo 2 into P3d V5, I get an a couple of errors when I try to save the configuration file. - "The Config Panel has encountered and error while trying to modify your RadioLayout.xml file with your chosen settings" and, the same error for the RealView.xml file, the "Options.xml" file, and the "Panel.cfg". This last error states the problem is with the chosen GPS setting - "Could not set the specified value"; same happens for the config.ini file. The product has been installed in the PD5 directory under simobjects. The Configuration has been run under Admin Privileges. Does anyone know of a fix for …

Hi. I have a problem with Prepar3dv4. When I have a CTD, on a long flight, I use to save the flight every 30 minutes. (just in case). The strange thing is that when reloading prepar3d and choosing the recorded flight, I cannot load it and the simulator turns shutsdown. That is, I have to fly and cross my fingers so that the simulator does not turn off. I used FSUIPC autosave but even though I made the recordings, it never let me reload them. I fly with a PMDG 7373 ngxu. so, i cant save my flights because i cant load them after. Can somebody help me? thanks in advance!

I haven't had a single CTD with V5 until today. Now, I can't even get beyond pushback without a CTD. Got a message that graphics memory is out... running a 2080ti.... tried multiple aircraft. Just updated to Beta 4 of ASP3D.... thought that was it so shut it down. Still, same issue. I have made no other changes. Very strange.

Anyone having AivlaSoft's EFB v2 know why instead of showing the Distance to Go as reducing, it instead increases it. Makes no sense to me and I have looked through all the various Settings but cannot find a way for it to decrease rather than increment. And it's always stuck at the first waypoint. Ant ideas, please?

I know I have put this subject on here before, but I still have the problem and could with it being fixed. I bought v4 in 2018 and it has been fine. In April this year, I have bought v5. It's true to say that I have probably run out of v4 licenses because I've had to format my machine without uninstall the license that the machine is taking up. That's why I've run out of v4 licenses, and I have made this clear to Prepar3D, and the install on the new PC tells you to and they will fix it. Because P3Dv5 has been released, and that license allows you to install v4.5 software, I bought v5 Academic licenses for v5. So, since I have paid for Academic licenses twice (v4…

I have resisted the temptation to get any GA glass, but lately I have been considering the idea. AIRAC navdata updating via Navigraph is important to me, as well as easy integration into various panels. Hi All. So by default my start up airport is KSEA in P3D V5 hf1. No matter what I try, I cannot go to any other airport in the world, not by "go to airport" or by making a flight plan. When I try to do this the loading always locks up at 77%. I have left it for up to 45 minutes to load, but it stays stuck. For this reason I can't go anywhere other than departing from KSEA or circuits. Any thoughts and help would be much appreciated. Thanks and best regards. Malcolm Hancock

I really did NOT want to do this...however, I got pretty frustrated with V5 today. There are days it runs pretty well, and other days where it really tries my patience. There are still too many tweaks I keep hearing about and so many simmers are still trying to make it run smoothly. There are airports (default) that at least for me, are unfinished to the point that runways are not complete and are interspaced with grass. I have brightness problems and I've tinkered with ADAPTATION_RATE_SCALAR too many times to make it right. It still isn't. Some days I get so many stutters and pauses that I just quit. I've played with Nvidia inside frames and P3d's frame settings in…

Over the last couple of weeks I used an EncShade profile and it worked perfectly on both of my pc’s. Yesterday my left view pc looked like it had returned to the default Shaders. The ShadersHLSL folder existed of the modified shader files which were exactly the same as the one on my server. So I deleted the Shaders cache and un-reinstalled the P3D Client. Started up P3D on both pc’s and there were the default Shaders. So, this was my starting point. I installed EnvDir + EnvShade on my left view pc too. Then I installed the same profile on both pc’s Again the client looked like default shaders. I deleted the Shaders cache on the cli…

What do y’all think v5 is going to bring as far as new features? Sloped runways? Better utilization of GPU’s? Maybe SLI utilization? Or maybe an updated ATC system. What are some features you want LM to tackle?

I am finding dynamic lighting too heavy for use in VR even on my 1080TI for example Just flights DR400 . So turning off gives great results. Only problem is so many aircraft seem to use it for taxi lights . Is there any way to get taxi lights still to shine without Dynamic lighting , helps to see where I am going at night. This may improve in HF2 but not currently in HF1 . Can use dynamic lighting on my 1080p monitor no issue.

Not sure if this question is in the correct place. I have recently moved from fsx to p3d v4.5 and is now working great. Had been trying to use a vr insight cdu2 with no end of problems in fsx (crashes and freezes and more) so have now put it up for sale. I would like a new fmc to use with p3d v4.5 that is easy to set up with pmdg 737 NGXu preferably simple plug and play that does not involve typing lots of scripts etc that does not cause crashes and take lots of system resources. Would like to just plug in and go . I do use the latest version of linda for overhead panel and mobiflight of annunciators. What would be the best and simplest fmc to buy…

Hi, Recently I reinstalled P3D v4.5HF3 and the addons i have such as, Activesky, GSX, Rex 5, ORBX, Ezdok, tomatoshade and Reshade. But now i have an issue i never had before, i can't see any menu in p3d such as the menu bar at the top of the screen (even with ALT it won't open), right click doesn't show me anything, when i'm in pause i don't see the pause display in the bottom left corner or the parking brake one. Shift+z doesn't show me anything and i don't see the view name and the zoom on the top right corner. So i tried to uninstall reshade, because i had problems with it but it did nothing, then i deleted my p3d.cfg but it also did nothing, i have also deleted the…

Hi all, I'm just wondering if anyone else has a long pause / stutters when approaching WSSS. It happens when i fly the PMDG into this airport. Around 10-20 nm from final approach i get a long lag spike and it can last anywhere from 5 to 20 seconds. It alsmost feels like its about to CTD but it continues.
