Someone else has this error, when opening p3dv5 at lemd airport it only shows heavy gates

Hello everybody! As I fly in Prepar3D v5 I have noticed that the main component of my pc that s working the hardest is the CPU and not the graphics card, does that make sense? When I fly I get around 50% on the CPU, 10GB/16GB on the RAM and only 10% on the GPU. Is there a problem? Intel i7-4770 16 GB RAM GTX 1070 8GB P3D v5 on 250 GB SSD Thank you very much. Yuval.

Hello guys, anyone with patience please to explain me how to proper setup my pedals and tiller for the pmdg ngxu, I have tons of addons and unfortunately this is the aircraft with worst steering, i know this is a new method from pmdg but looks like I havent been able to setup correctly, quick here u go; I have pedals, a yoke and a joystick, the pedals work ok but since real 737 pilots wont taxi with Pedals I use my joystick rudder axis as tiller in fsuipc but is very bad, I tried the mcdu options inside the aircraft and looks like I havent found the right combination, not even sure what to set in the cdu and fsuipc, turns are extremely sensitive or drastic, I dont have th…

P3D v4.5 I would appreciate some help with a couple of Scenario Settings matters: (1) Options/Display/Display Global Settings/Display: I have many named Display options listed in the drop down menu from experimenting with various settings. Is there any way to remove the ones I don't want, won't use again? (2) Realism/Crashes & Damage: For the sake of expediency i tick the "No Crashes & Damage", (C&D), box & include it in the named Display combo I am trying at that time. Is anyone experiencing blacked out airport textures on approach, after a relatively long flight? As soon as I land, perhaps 5 seconds later, all the textures with the runway markings show up. Any tips, i.e., tweaks, will be appreciated.

Hi there, After 3 days of tuning, it's exhausting but finally I'm able to find the culprit of black death screen to P3D V5 If you have entered a black screen (but with engine sounds audible and menu clickable after loading a scenario), your shader and cfg files are corrupted by one of your add-ons. If you have Add-on manger installed. Hi everyone, 1) Autobrake system not found on the lower pedestal, the Autobrake system has been turned on the Load Manager. 2) Cannot arm spoilers on the ground. I have calibrated the Spoilers axes with my Thustmaster Warthog Throttle via FSUIPC for Prepar3dv5. 3) I am using ActiveSky P3D for v5, but everytime I turn on the Power for the WX radar it says WX fail on the PFD. i vaguely remember having this issue along time ago, but now in v5, while taxing PMDG 747 and Maddog, the aircraft is banking 2 to 3 degrees while making turns on the ground. very annoying. autorudder is off. any ideas why this would be happening on 2 different payware aircraft?

I had to check my calendar, but yes, I've had V5 for one month (only).. seems longer, somehow.. So here is one man's journey.. I bought the Professional edition, counting on the LM 14 day refund policy if it did not outperform my highly tuned V4.5. HF2 configuration. Need some help. I am experiencing frequent crashes with my Flight1 GTN 750. Right before it crashes or freezes, I usually get a “TAWS Not Available” Audible warning then it just freezes up usually making my sim very slow as well. Sometimes the Garmin system just freezes and I’m able to recycle my avionics and it’ll come back to life like normal. Sometimes I can fly all day and no freezes or crashes occur it’s totally random. But the issue is, it’s happening more frequently now. Almost every flight I try and make. What’s odd is, it’s only the 750. My 650 which sits right beside it never acts up. Hello friends, really stuck with the above problem which continues: could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect, Version=10.0.61259.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The System cannot find the file specified. Using Windows 10, P3D v. 2.5, 12 GB Ram, Asus PT6D Motherboard. This worked fine until I deleted some old FSX files about a month ago. Not sure if the "redist" file is corrupt in P3Dv2. Is this an Addon problem? I don't have the computer background to figure it out...please help if you are able. Thanks, J. Preston

I started tinkering with V5 to get a better idea of the simulator. I have been slowly adding apps being careful to test my system parameters following vram usage, core temps and cores utilization. I have the following additions to the original V5 download from LM. I'm not adding any more as I assume sometime in the future an update will require a complete re-install. First of all a confession: My installation is huge. 650GB. Lot of stuff. But, I have special scenery.cfg files AND addon.xml files where I just load the things for a region. Nevertheless, the loading takes ages. Not so much from the startup screen to the actual flight, that is as expected. But from starting P3D to the screen where you actually start the flight. What makes this take so long? It's not dependent on how much stuff I load. It seems to be dependent on how much stuff there IS. It's up to four or five minutes now, from a SSD. With a bafre installation of P3D it always was like 30 seconds or so. What happens here in the background?

V5 has a right click and hold, to view around function, similar to X-Plane 11. However, I'm using Chaseplane and prefer to use the click and hold the middle mouse button, to view around. Now, when I'm flying the Maddog MD-80, some buttons and switches require right clicks which sometimes, and annoyingly, center the mouse to a crosshairs native to V5. Is there a way to disable the right click function in V5 and go back to the V4 norm? Thanks in advance.

Hello! I would like to let you all know that a freeware sloped runway airport was released (updated by me) a few days ago. It is from developer called ILUMIUM Simulations who made a payware addon for the whole Slovenia. Divača airport has already existed as a freeware addon. The real airport has two slightly sloped runways which was not possible in the v4 version. I fly at LJDI in RL as a flight student and I always wanted a sloped runway in P3D. When P3D v5 came out I decided to edit this airport with the new V5 SDK. Now it has two sloped runways and sloped grass taxiways. Once I finished it I contacted ILUMIUM and told them that they can publish my V5 up…

I've been using FSC for years as the combination of a flight planner and a moving map along with other features have made it very useful. But, with the release of the newest version, (V10), support for P3D has been dropped. The developer, Volker, has said that he will "think about" P3D support. But, while that is taking place, I'm not aware of another addon that combines the features of FSC - does anyone else know of one?

Everyone's system is different so by no means do I think this is a cure for everyone, but hopefully it can help at least someone. Long story short, on my system v5 doesn't like Intel's/Window's power saving features. I have an older system (6600k - 980ti) and I've had the same stable overclock for years. My overclock has never given me issues with any games and I'll run Cinebench/OCCT/etc. from time to time to verify everything is still stable. And then came v5. With v5 I was getting fairly frequent freezes to where I couldn't do anything and would have to restart. Assuming CTD was usually software based but these freezes seemed hardware based. Hi Can anyone tell me how to fix the elevation problems in P3D when using the Greenland Qeqqata X scenery? In particular BGSF is un even ground with dips everywhere, even on the runway. Thanks Jason
