Hello recently, I switched for Ultimate Traffic Live in v4. Mostly happy with this add-on, but it seem that often the cargos zones are empty on great airports. Think too, that I never seen a aicargo landing. Perhaps missing a operation of a configuration ? suggest are welcome, thx. Mark

Hello all, Here's something I've been wondering about. P3Dv5 reportedly includes all new world-wide data, to the point that OrbX have said that they do not intend to convert Vector to v5, because v5 includes data that is often newer than what vector includes. I was wondering what the situation is with respect to mesh addons? I've been happily using FreemeshX, but if somebody tells me that this is unnecessary because v5 icludes the same or similar quality mesh, I will not hesitate to get rid of Freemesh. Anybody have any idea? My suspicion is that Freemesh still includes higher resolution mesh data, given that it's 46GB of mesh data alone, whereas I've heard that…

Hello. I seem to be unable to interact with 2D-Panels in VR ( P3D v4.5 / Oculus Rift S ). When using the PMDG 747 and opening the FS2Crew Window, I cannot interact with the FS2Crew 2D-Panel. I can display the panel, but there‘s obviously no way to interact with it ( e.g. to click on the SEC Button to open the SEC-Panel ). The FS2Crew 2D-Panel is displayed in the Windshield and I cannot move or resize it from this position. No interaction at all possible... So, to alter settings for FS2Crew ( e.g. the Approach-Setup ), I have to exit VR to setup FS2Crew, which is a bit of a showstopper for me. Any help would be appreciated. Best regards, Toto

Hi, I have just taken delivery of the above,and must say it's a well engineered product on the face of it,however I'm really struggling with the programming side as I don't find the information tells me all that I need to know. I've been exploring some new FPS-intensive times of day after some new-found performance through the anti-aliasing settings, and I noticed something quite strange. I always fly with Active Sky, and I've been flying in some fully overcast skies at sunset. However, I've noticed that all buildings (custom scenery and autogen) still light up pink/orange as if it's sunset on a clear day. This happens with or without TomatoShade. I do have cloud shadows enabled and draw distance on "high". Is this a known limitation of P3D still? (I know it was back in the V2/V3 days.) Or am I just messing something up in my settings?

The problem is that I have a license login for their website. I use it and it allows me to download the new version of v4.5. When the .zip is downloaded and installed, I reboot the machine (it says the Install is Complete). After that it asks for the license login again on the first open of the application. Hi everyone, one thing I've noticed is that my ground textures are very blurry. This isn't the usual textures not loading due to high speed flying (I don't think), it seems to happen all the time even with the aircraft stationary. This happens both at ORBX fields, regions, and outside regions (I do use ORBX Global textures). I didn't have this issue in v4. I tried to take a screenshot of my settings but it didn't seem to work. However I have high resolution ground textures enabled, and am running at 4096x4096 texture resolution. I don't want to paste my entire Prepar3d.cfg here and take up a bunch of space, but here are a few of the sections …

Is there a way to speed them up? I'm talking about the panel lighting knobs. Turning them takes forever.

Hi is there any way to increase the clouds drawing distance with active sky + true sky? I remember using FSGRW and having some amazing clouds covering more than 120nm radius. So much clouds that I was very impress. So far in active sky I haven't seen this reproduce like in FSGRW.

P3D v5 HF1 installed. I get a CTD with no error window or something else overflying the region of CYMM Ft. McMurray far up in Canada! ORBX, PMDG 747, FS Global Ultimate NG2020 all installed with v5 installers. Is this reproducible on other systems? Any ideas? Best regards Bruno

I tried to add my entry from V4 but got massive elevation and other weirdness. Trying to figure out if I just have it layered wrong or if it is truly incompatible with V5 seeing that these are the only two orbx ones I own that they didn't port over to V5. Anybody have them working?

Hi Not sure where I should go first with this issue, so I thought I'd try here for suggestions. I'm using P3D 4.5 w/HF3 and have recently reinstalled my entire OS, P3D and add-ons (I performed a complete drive wipe first). I'm using headphone through my monitor, which is being fed by a HDMI cable coming out of my GTX970. I'm using nVidia driver version 26.21.14.3200. Looks like it's making me use nVidia sound drivers - there are no other options in Sound Settings (NS-40D510NA15 Monitor is my only playback option, using NVIDIA HD Audio as a controller). Hello to anyone reading this, Before I Start I Am A P3D V4.5 User I Use Orbx True Earth For The Whole UK When installing Digital Design Liverpool It was a easy experience to do. When I loaded up the simulator i was greeted with the whole of my simulator being black and white and some of the airport was in the air floating. I have installed it properly above that Orbx Products Like Orbx Say to do with you insertion points. When I uninstalled the product And re launched the simulator the revived colour back to my sim but the terrain for at least the UK was patchy some had true earth and some had default mesh and not all buildings and trees where displaying proper…

Hi All, Anyone had any luck getting this bird to work in P3D V5? I feel like i'm getting close but it's just not quite there..... I posted this on Simforums but was shut down rather abruptly..... 🤔 If the KA is installed via the normal install method. It does install. You can load into the the plane, but there are no Virtual Cockpit textures. However other than that it does seem to work, you can ctrl-E start and take off. Just no VC textures. I tried installing via the add-on.xml method. Install to dummy folder F:\P3D Addons\Flight1 I setup all the components in add-on.xml. SimObject/Airplanes - Effects - Etc. Not sure what …

Hi Gents, For sure you're all aware of Lorby flashlight available for v5, since (afaik) is not possible to tweak MOON_PHASE_LIGHTING=False in [GRAPHICS] of Prepar3D.cfg anymore. Hi Guys, After 2 days of trying and searching I can't figure out why ActiveSky doesn't work over the network. I've tried everything written in the manual i have tripple checked all of the shared folders and checked all the user rights. i have uninstalled it and installed it several times with the same result everytime. i can start op ASP3D and i see there is a addon entry in the add on manager from P3D but ASP3D wont load up in P3D and there is no ActiveSky present in the Addon menu at the top ribbon of P3D also at the starting menu it wont let me choose a ActiveSky wheater theme and ASP3D says: Waiting for the simula…
