I used to fly into airport CYHE Hope when I used FSX many years ago and it was always a pleasure. Today I wanted to have a look at it in my P3D v4.5 for the first time. This is a default airport within P3D and to my surprise it needs flattening as the aircraft is in a deep cavern at parking 1 or 2. It is not an addon airport scenery but I did a few things to try to resolve it. First I did a repair of P3D Client, Content and Scenery, then I ran the AEC in ORBX VECTOR even though CYHE is not listed in the AEC as it is not an addon. None of this fixed the issue. I realised that since installation several months ago I haven't had any AI ships (cars and planes work though). Now I've decided that it's really hurting the immersion of flying into coastal airports like VHHH and KSFO and I've tried (to no avail) to solve this problem. -trafficBoats.bgl is in the scenery folder -I tried to install a ship AI addon to fix the problem but there are still no ships -all sliders at 100% I have had a look at other posts around the forums but they were mostly centered on the AI aircraft. Any one manage to record P3D V5 footage with FRAPS? I tried but FRAPS doesn't seem to recognize it. Start FRAPS first then V5 and no frame counter shows. Then when I start TrackIR the frame counter shows It worked fine with V4.

So Flight 2 and Flight 3 for me with the maddog in V5 have both CTD. First CTD was when calling for pushback with GSX. This one was when using the mechanics panel to disconnect ground power. Has anybody else had problems like this? Hi there, I saw there is a thread discussing this issue with a NVIDIA card, I check that thread and many suggestions provided are NVIDIA based. I wonder if any AMD user is also suffering from this issue because I am. I'm not able to load into the sim. You can see there is a glitch at a first look, nothing is showing in the aircraft profile. This issue on an AMD card is even more severe than a NVIDIA. When the error dialog appears. It disabled the HDMI inputs so your screen will go death black then showing "HDMI NO SIGNAL". I've used Hardy Heinlin PSX for years. Am I going to be dissapointed in the PMDG 747? For instance, how accurately does the Autopilot manage to follow the predicted route - the pink line through tighter turns etc. How good is the autothrust control? Do you get overspeeds, and overshoots of target speeds? I love the look of the PMDG stuff, but I don't want to buy one and then find the avionics are a bit 'loose' compared with what I'm used to.

Hello everyone! I am currently experiencing very large FPS variations. It's going from 30FPS, jumping to 100FPS, coming back down to 60FPS, etc. Constantly happens. Limiting FPS doesn't work for me, since I still experience jumps and it's laggy. Is there any way I can stabilize the frame rate? I have a very high end system: i9 9900K @5 1080Ti 32GB Memory 1TB SSD which P3D is on. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I have P3D4.5, using ActiveSky, REX Sky Force3D for clouds and texturing, additionally i use TomatoShade with latest RD1.8. As in the title, my sky is always milky and foggy, i understand that AS creates fogginess to set and limit visibility ( in my case visibility is set to 70nm ), but milk is all around and despite weather conditions. Is there any specific option in AS or TomatoShade which create or can eliminate milkiness ?

Anyone know what’s causing the slow loading PBR textures in V5 in the cockpit and outside when changing views? I got a [email protected],32 GB of ram, 1080ti and Crucial M.2 SSD

Is the Sheffield City NDB (SMF) in the UK still operational? I checked on Google, and it is included on the active NDB list, but there is no sign of it in my PMDG navigational database. I am not using the latest data (only the one that is included in the PMDG 747 package), but there are plenty of other NDBs in there.....

I'm in the process of installing AIG AI aircraft via their OCI. Seems to be going ok (every now and then I'm opening up P3D ans going to an airport where i know my installed AI should be and alls good so far). I've just installed Brussels Airlines and want to look for a particular livery - the Tomorrowland one. I went to EBBR but couldn't see it there so went to Liege instead. Couldn't find it there either but i was very surprised to see AI aircraft i haven't yet installed - one of the AI at Liege was Air Force One !. Hey there every one, I have a question, when I flight with my e.g Aerosoft A330 or PMDG 777-300ER, would I make some videos to my freinds and family. But after I have make some cockpit videos, could it be nice to make a wing veiw video like when you are passenger on the aircrafts, but I can't make this videos because I don't know how I can see the cockpit and my Geforce Experience just can see the wing??? The Aerosoft a330 for P3d v5 is out.

For all of my ProATC users, I cannot figure out how to give my AI traffic proper call signs with this ATC program. Almost every other AI transmission, ProATC refers to the traffic as just “one”. An example would be: “One requesting engine start up” “One engine start approved”. Even though it’s a Southwest 73W. I have UTL installed for my traffic but even before when I was using the default ATC with P3D my airline traffic has real call signs. So I know it has nothing to do with UTL. This only happened once I made the switch to this third party ATC program. So is this just happening to me or is this just normal for ProATC?

Hey Guys, Call me old school but I refuse to upgrade to P3Dv5 and the NGXu purely because of the lack of a 2D panel. VC is not something I enjoy, but either way this thread isn't about that debate! I'm looking for a new aircraft to fly preferably long haul 747/777 that has a 2D panel, but the complexity of a PMDG aircraft etc. Can anyone recommend anything? Cheers, Alex

I keep getting a message from P3D v5 - "P3D had detected a non sequential layering order in the Scenery library, do you want P3D to attempt to fix? I say Yes and then on next start the message is back again. Any idea how to permanently fix it?

Hello. I‘ having troubles with uninstalling P5D. I have a parallel installation of P3D v4.5 and P5D. P3D v4.5 is installed on „C:“ P5D is installed on „F:“ There‘s no uninstaller listed in Windows 10 „uninstall a Programm“ ( only v4.5 is listed ). The P5D installer itself does not have an option for uninstall, and there‘s furthermore no uninstall link in the Startmenu. Any help is highly appreciated. Best, Toto

Is the MK Studios Dublin scenery package supposed to have apron lighting? I have installed it on my new PC and enabled dynamic lighting in P3Dv4, but the apron looks dark. Is there something else that I am supposed to do?

They don't make planes today like they used to.....just kidding, but..... The Real Air Duke V2 (normally aspirated) and the Real Air Duke Turbine are incredible airplanes. Just installed both today and they are best installed IMHO in the P3dv5 Addons folder where they were intended to go under Version 4. They work beautifully and I love the "shake" on the tarmac when they start running. I love the sound of the flaps and gear. They fly so well and look sooooo good! Very enjoyable aircraft that I've always loved. I particularly enjoy the normally aspirated V2 of the Duke over the Turbine, but that's just me. I hope that if you haven't installed these yet…

Hi guys Just did a fresh install of V5 on my new hard drive (so i dont have to install on C) In the proccess of my first flight now and all my green sim messages such as GSX, Door messages etc are flashing like crazy Never seen this before and not sure what is causing it. I thought maybe GSX but the same thing happens when it gives me messages about opening and closing doors Any ideas? I have the latest versions of everything
