Hi, Good afternoon in here.... I have problem with no atc sound and pilot voices but all the sound like engines, FS2crew, GSX all normal but its no atc sound. The atc text box is available but if i select the ground or tower or Atis it is not sound. I've try to setting output sound on the setting but it's not resolved. I've try to change output from speaker to headset but it's not resolved. I've tried to uninstall and install again the simulator but it's not resolved. Thank you if you wanna help me in these problem.

I have problem with my Prepar3D V4.5, I have pc with specification: Processor i5 9600K VGA GTX 1660 super Ram 16Gb Fan Cooler master hyper 212 SSD Samsung Evo 970 plus 1tb But i have problem with Approaching in any airports always lag. I installed my prepar3D in my system with the SSD samsung, Right am i installed in my system? Or i'm wrong with the installation?

Aside from purchasing shares of Boeing this week :), I got the QualityWings 787 today and will test it out tomorrow. However, I am curious about the frame rates... Does it run well in v4 and v5? Kind regards and stay safe everyone.

I'm hoping someone can help diagnose an issue I've been having lately in P3Dv4. Out of the blue my weather theme will change, usually to either the "heavy snow" or "gray and rainy" themes. I've tried all kinds of testing before posting here and it happens all the time. Whether I'm running Active Sky or not, whether I'm in a default weather theme (clear skies) or in the User Defined theme, or the ActiveSky weather theme. It has happened while flying, and while paused, and it happens no matter where I am as I've landed at Honolulu with winter textures. Sometimes this is even accompanied by a complete scenario reset to the default "helicopter basics" scenario …

Hi Guys, Has anyone had this issue with the latest dynamic reflection maker, v31, on P3D v4.5 HF3. I have tried reinstalling TS, Reinstalling the sim, windows, flushing shaders but nothing seems to clear it. I am running the latest nvidia 445.37 driver and the 1909 windows update. My flight sim equipment includes an i7 8700K processor @ 4.8 OC, an RTX 2060 Super 8GB graphics card, 32GB RAM memory and 3 24" monitors in surround. Everything runs on SSDs. I still get blurries occasionally and when I have my frame rate limited to 30 it stays between 28 and 30. I do most of my flying in A2A aircraft including the war birds. My favorite for just flying around is the Piper Comanche 250 and I like to fly low. This could be a blurries producer. Anyway, how much of all this stuff does P3Dv4.5 utilize. How much of the CPU is actually used by the sim. What about the resources of the graphics card. Now, I do have my settings quite high, but not maxed out. The b…

Hello, with V5 I've got the issue that there is no runway Lights at Add-on Airports. Taxi Lights etc. are working. Does anybody else having this issue?

Seriously, what happened to all the parking positions in v5?? How do I get them all back like they were in v4? Any setting I overlooked? I have Orbx on both v4 and v5 and no additional AFCADs on v4 but somehow v4 has a lot more parking positions than v5

I just downloaded the P3 v5 Maddog and am getting a CTD because of a DXGI error. I have a I7 4790K, 4Ghz, 32 GB ram, GTX 980TI. All other planes work, however when I change the view it crashed. Can you help? Thanks Bernd

Hello. I‘ve got the PMDG 747 installed on v4.5 an would like to install it again on the same PC ( but on a different SSD ) parallel under v5 for testing purposes. Am I right that this is not possible, as the installer gives me only the options to modify / repair / or remove the 747? There‘s no option for installation only... Best regards, Toto

Hi all,I have noticed a loss of FPS in my system under certain circumstances. I have a dual-screen set up: P3DV5 in "full-screen" mode on the main screen, and FSTramp on the second screen.When I initiate FSTramp at the beginning of my flying sessions, FPS are pretty constant (between 60-150 or depending on scenery etc). After 5 hours or so, FPS start varying quite wildly, sometimes going as low as 15. This only happens when the FSTramp window is open. If I close FS Tramp, FPS go back up and remain constant. As per the attachment, the GPU load spikes up when FS Tramp is open after a few hours. VRAM sits at 4 GB (out of 7.1) with or without FSTramp. I have pretty dece…

Hello everybody! I bought P3D v5 a week ago, and I am interested in buying the PMDG777, which is not yet compatible. As I am waiting for it I was thinking about buying the QualityWings Avro, which is not officially compatible, but I saw on the FSElite v5 compatibility page that it can be transferred to v5. How do you do that and is it a good idea? Thanks Yuval

Hey all! I have read many a thread about Carenados biz jets which even if they have an FMS is usually awful. The Falcon 50 looks great, but of course you have to have the GTN750. Does anyone know of a good business jet that has a good working FMS that can be updated with navigraph much like our beloved commercial aircraft? Thanks

Is there a way to disable ASCA from auto starting every time I start up Active Sky P3D?

For some reason I’ve never really gotten into flying into the Canary Islands much. I’ve done a few flights into Tenerife Sur and one into Fuerteventura and that’s it. I’m currently wondering which of the islands and which of the many sceneries to get. And I just can’t decide. The quality of the scenery is obviously important but what really matters a lot is whether the approach is challenging/interesting. So I’d rather not get anything with a simple straight-in ILS for example unless there’s a fantastic vista or crazy wind due to terrain. Any suggestions?

I've always thought that Little Navmap was a better flight planning tool when it came to GA VFR flying and PFPX For IFR. But I'm curious if it can replace PFPX for both? I am trying to limit the amount of add-ons that I need to have on my computer.

When I used Central version 3 in ORBX with P3dv4+, there used to be a tab that could correct elevation problems of all kinds. You just had to put in the airport code and disable it if there were a problem. Is there anyway to address specific airport elevation of weird problems at airports in P3dv5? Stan

I have read it has been quite the roller coaster ride for a lot of people here in the Prepar3D forum, specifically V5 HF1. I would concur up until yesterday, but I think I have figured out MY system requirements. Specs in my signature. First off, I am strictly a GA flyer so you PMDG pilots will likely gain nothing. But, same as you, I was suffering a lot of Nvidia crashes, and most recently, KERNELBASE.dll errors. Simulator death lurked at every corner... 🙂 So, here's what I did: 1 - I use RivaTuner for display only, and use Nvidia Control Panel for frame limiter. 2 - I limit P3D frames to 30, no GSYNC, and limit NCP to 29. Since getting V5 I have been getting pretty good frame rates even though my system is getting a little long in the tooth. In my startup scenario which is using the default Carenado AC11 Commander 114 parked at KTCM cold and dark. My frames ran about 47 fps or there about. Now all a sudden my frames are about 29 fps. Don't know what had caused this decrease. The strange thing is it doesn't matter where my sliders are. I can have them all to the left or all to the right but the frame rate doesn't change. Even in flight. They may drop down to from 22 to 29 and it doesn't matter where I set the Target frame rate. It can be set anywhere up to Unlimited with no effect…

I have 500 GB free on a 1TB SSD and would like to give V5 a test drive without removing V4.5. I'm not planning to install avogadro's number of addons in V5.1 just keep it vanella. If it goes poorly fully recover from the image backup.

Now that we have Active Sky for weather, PMDG 747, several large airports and ai Traffic (AIG AIM), I thought it's time to reevaluate the performance of the new sim (v5HF1). Thus I made some tests with my PMDG 747, placing the aircraft at that runway where I'm expecting the hardest performance impact. TrueSky AE is active. Settings are moderate-high. here my results: KSFO (FlightBeam) 28L (ORBX NCA): 5.8-6.2 GB VRAM, 24-27 fps (locked @30) KLAX (FSDT) 07L (ORBX SCA): 7.2-7.5 GB VRAM, 14-15 fps (locked @30) EGLL (Aerosoft) 09R (ORBX TE GB): 7.5-7.8 GB VRAM, 18-20 fps (locked @30) I might gain perhaps 2 fps by fine tuning my sett…
