Hi all, I am coming across some weird thing in P3D v3.4 when I start a flight from an airport wich has apron - floodlights (for example any Fly Tampa or T2G etc.) during daytime, those floodlight are off, as it should be. However when I go flying away from that airport (far enough to make the airport disappear) and then fly back making the airport reload I will find the airport apron floodlights on !! (but not the runway lights !) I even can use the slew function to archieve same effect. It seems no matter which aircraft (also with default) or which airport...... This didnt happen some time before. But I cant trace back which changes to my Installation …

Hi. I am using P3D v4 and v5. Flying the Realair Duke B60 v2. When I left click on the Radio Stack, It takes me straight to an outside view from inside the nose. I am also using Chase Plane vers 1.1.86. Any help will be much appreciated Paul

Hello: I am running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit build 1909 with P3Dv4.5 with latest HF. I have all the "goodies" ORBX, AS, REX EF, etc. I notice when I use TG, I get extremely poor FPS...I loose almost 15-20 frames. I am using the latest TG build. Not sure if this happens with any traffic AI or just TG. I've asked for help on their forums but as expected, crickets. Anybody having this issue? Any suggested fixes? I've just turned it off for now. Thanks.

I had UTXUSA23 installed using the product.ini hack I then installed Global Base ORBX, and buildings HD by them Fantastic daytime scenery but at night tho i do get street lights i do not get highway lights I tried configuring lights with ORBX central but configurator seems to only go for p3D-4x, not 5 Anybody?

Ok so here's my problem. the Turkish 77 screenshots were taken with 16gb ram and my old motherboard. the British airways screenshots are taken after my motherboard and ram upgrade giving me 32gb ram. the same setting and the same cfg config were used on both flights. its really frustrating because i cannot get rid of the blurries. ive verified and reinstalled all orbx products at least twice now, ive done a full reinstall of windows, if done the terrain.cfg trick ive deleted my scenery.cfg and p3d.cfg to allow my p3d to create new ones and still nothing. im literally begging for help now lol. on my old motherboard i was getting between 20 and 25fps over London. with my ne…

Hey friends I need some advice here. I am looking to get one small airliner.I am looking at the Aerosoft Airbus (318-321), their CRJ and TFDI 717. I have checked the FSlabs Airbus but the at 200$ Cdn it is way too expensive. I you can help me with pros and cons in a constructive manner it would be helpful. I set the aircraft - set the airport details - setup runs thro' normal % report - @ 100% Blank Screen I am loath to uninstall / reinstall due to difficulties in the past with Installs - and have used control panel to repair 3 times with the same result. I have had no addons for some time and sim has been performing very well at 30fps with 1 exception - the views have been changing around without input from me - ie the 4 outside - and I Cockpit view Any advice ??

What happened to Grosny URMG airport. It is simply not depicted? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grozny_Airport I made a flightplan from URKA using Simbrief, followed the flight with Littlenav Map which shows the field with ILS et al, but when arriving there is you find no field. Tried to go there via menu and there is no URMG in P3D airports. regards, Heron

Sorry if this is the wrong spot on the forum ! Anyone had much luck migrating ? I have 1TB and with 3 sims with lots of add ons i am down to my last 50 gigs. Looking into getting a 2 TB solid state drive for the system. Any recommendations? And how to best do it ? Thanks !

Hey guys Im sure this is a classic question here but i am finding a lot of my flying time in P3D is not very fun because of slow FPS. I have lots of addons yes. I have looked at the best settings to run things in the past but it doesnt seem to do much. I have VR as well and forget that, if im getting 13-19 FPS on the ground with an addon aircraft (like FSLabs) and an addon airport like (FlyTampa). PC: i7 7700kj overclocked to 4700 32g of ram GTX1080 Ti with 12g of VRAM also overclocked from 1500mhz to 1700 This thing should be smoking. I dont understand. Seems to mostly be weighed down by weather and add on airports, ive tried to get …

Several times I did choose an airport in the P3Dv5 selection on startup, but when the cockpit finally appears, I'm at a totally different spot... Just again a few minutes ago: I did select EDDK (Köln-Bonn Airport) and I did find myself in Nurthumberland on a small airfield. Yes, I did confirm EDDK and even the first map, before everything starts to load for some time, shows EDDK, but in the end I'm somewhere else. This occured to me several times... Hi, I wanted to ask those who use the new FS Global Ultimate NG 2020 FTX with P3D 4.5 product how to proceed with the installation. I currently use and have installed the previous version (FS Global Ultimate - Next Generation FTX), to install this new one, how do I proceed to uninstall the old version? There is no unistall program seeing from the Windows "control panel". Should I first remove the check from the scenerys library of the old product and then manually delete the folders? Can you show me how to proceed? Thank you.

How to fix this? I never updated this manually so I assume that OrbX auto-updated to SODE 1.7.0. Now I see a bunch of red X's all over the jetways at flightbeam's KSFO HD. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I am looking to purchase an SSD for my Prepar3D v5, X-Plane 11 and MSFS 2020 when it comes out. What size would you recommend that would leave me with space leftover to breath? I'm thinking a full install of P3D with a lot of add-ons would take about 250-500GB of space, and X-Plane 11 the same.

I'm trying to install FSXFlight for P3DV4.5. When I run the installer, it keeps giving me a message that says "an error occurred trying to download http s3 amazonaws com fsxflight publish fsxflight application." I have FSUIPC5 installed and my Microsoft(Dot)Framework is up to date. Can someone please help me fix this issue. Thanks, Micah

So whats the deal with this plane? Everything works very well, except when you change views and then CTD. From what i can gather the devs know of this and gave a rather silly way of avoiding it. But that option cuts my fps almost in 1/2. Like this plane cost me almost $100 AUD and not being able to change views because of the impending CTD is beyond ridiculous. Anyone have had this issuse? Or found a desent work around? I would be grateful to hear. Otherwise ill just box it and put it down to "I didn't do enough research" Regards Mike

I have a problem with v5 on my main monitor, when switching with mouse to a different monitor to open up a app no micro stutter, but as soon as i click back on my main monitor running v5 I get this single stutter which is very annoying,never had this in v4.5 Any help would be greatly appreciated ore is this a bug?

It came in the SODE VDGS update 1.1 Version 1.7.0 contains a lot of internal code changes and bug fixes. The most notable one is surely the completely overhauled AI jetway engine: The detection and jetway assignment got more efficient. The entire communication logic between SODE and its animation module is rewritten and should lead to more stability and has fixed a couple of CTDs related to SimObjectAnimationModule.dll. Ive read how some users, who have monitors/TVs that can sync at 30Hz, have been able to set VSYNC ON, unlimited frames in P3D and via the monitor sync rate, have it running at 30 fps. Ive also read that for monitors that don't natively run at 30Hz, you can use an external program/config to achieve the same. As I have 2 GPUs and 7 monitors, the external limiter has never worked for me, as whatever value I set, I have P3D working at 1/3 the preferred rate. I have 3 x 27" monitors for my front view (no instruments), a ultrawide screen below where P3D main window is, just to display instrument panel, and the other monitors are touch screen, and GPS displays. …

Good afternoon everyone, I am having issues with Prepar3d v5 and Aerosoft Mega Airport Barcelona Professional. The autogen scenery seems to bleed into the airport scenery, so I end up with a load of houses between runways and around the control tower. I am running Orbx Global, and Open LC Europe, but can't seem to find any way of rectifying the issue. Is anybody having similar issues or found a solution to this? Many thanks, Kieran

Finally found out what the problem was. It was FSUIPC, not the weather program. The FSUIPC 6 new install didn't get registered properly. What happened was that for some reason SimMarket had my name spelled slightly differently with an additional underscore ( _ ) where a blank space normally would be (I have two first names), so the registration details were different for the original WideFS 7 old order and the new FSUIPC 6 order. After I noticed this, I re-installed FSUIPC 6 and then checked the different registration details box that came up after starting the install. This allows you to put in stuff for two separate orders if they don't exactly match. …
