I am not showing any of my AI planes with the latest update to VHHH. Any ideas? AI shows up at all my other airports except for this one.

Hi all I am running P3D V4.5 and have a pretty decent computer but really bad performance, I am talking 12fps at times I am testing on FS dream team LAX as this would be intsenisve but i literally have the poorest perfromace. I even check usage when using p3d and none of my PC components are struggling. I have tested many other high areas such as YSSY, KSFO, KJFK, YBBN and they are pretty poor with performance I do have pretty high settings in p3d set but if my PC isnt bottlenecked anywhere i am not sure why the serious lag? Would there be any settings I need to check outside P3D? Even adjusting sliders in P3d i can gain some FPS but nothing substanti…

I have been using, or trying to use, the AS P3D v5 Beta for about an hour. Here are my findings on my system: 1. With certainty, and for whatever reason, P3D v5 Beta on my running of P3Dv5 consumes over a GB of vRAM, resulting in my three vRAM exhaustion CTD's...as well as P3D booting me out of TrueSky in the background. A vRAM memory leak? I dunno...but this is happening no matter. 2. When I went back to the stand alone (it does not install any part of itself into the ADD-On folder) the freeware FSXWX 1.6.1 weather injector, I had 1.2 more GB's of my vRAM budget and did not for the entire session, CTD or turn off (in the background) TrueSky. 3. I purchased the DA62 on the 19th April and downloaded to my P3D4 Sim but on the finish of loading the config app did not appear. The aircraft loaded OK and I can fly it but the configuration application does not work. If I click on the config app icon I get an error message "attempt to index global tP3d version info a nil value Stack Traceback 1!(project>on start up Line 134 in main chunk)." I have no idea what this means. I have E-Mailed Sean at @vertxsim.com on the 19th and awaiting reply. I did install to the default location and AV was off and ran program as administrator. Hopefully some one will know what the problem is and can offer a fix! …

I am pretty sure there has never been a quality KPIT ever made. How is this possible? It seems to me this would be a great location. It is really odd that nobody has ever thought to develop this airport. Cheers, Pete

...just injected Soft Clouds, mid clouds and high clouds...had enough with just one level of cloud base! Injected all the great airport concrete , asphalt, runway lines, signs...the all of it... just pointed to my V5 location, rather than my v4. Injected much nicer winds, rain, and thunder bursts. All the stuff that you loved to put into V4. Looks great, and sound's great! Make sure to use DT5 instead of 32 bit. Glad I had the program kicking around....:)

Mitch the Guinea Pig, here...decided to 'take the plunge'....lol. Injectied Tropical Water and Coral from Rex 4 Texture Direct and the water is so much nicer in the Caribbean now! I was working with ORBX Central today doing things like checking for updates, syncing the sim (because of new scenery files I installed), etc. I intentionally uninstalled the Libraries file and tried to reinstall it. However, it doesn't go all the way, instead, stopping between 700 and 830 mb. I've tried multiple times but I can't get it to completely install. This is the 1st time this ever happened. Perhaps I have to uninstall ORBX and reinstall it. These are the kinds of things I'm thinking about. Is there a cache somewhere that I can delete so that this will fully install? Stan

Haven't been able to get to their forum for the past 2 days. Someone else mentioned it on here yesterday. Are others finding the same?

I've searched for an answer/suggestion around the forums without success and am hoping for help here. The general "forum" opinion is that in flight simulation, rotay wing modelling has always fallen far short of fixed wing. I fly a Cabri G2 in real life. I find the MP Design Studio version for P3D works very well indeed and compares to the real thing nicely, except for autorotations. We all know what they're about. This is the second time it's happened. Not sure why but i get the dreaded BSOD this time, is there a way to find out the cause? Because on the Windows 10 BSOD it shows a percentage that it's saving or writing some file. Possibly a crash log? Perhaps I can see what the cause of the crash was?

So far Active Sky P3D, Active Sky Cloud Art, Envshade & Envtex have been released for P3D v5. Rex Sky Force for v5 has yet to arrive. Has anyone put together any combo of the Active & Toga Products offerings & have any insights into what works with what & what combos to avoid? I know ASCA won't work with Enhanced Atmosphere On. Hi guys, I never really fully understood on what FSUIPC traffic settings are - Yes, I have read the documentation over and over. I need to see some visual examples. I wish there were easy options like - Reduce Traffic - click here. Version 6 has the nice gui layout. Using AIG Manager for AI Are my settings to aggressive or too wide. Hi I noticed recently that with some 3rd Party Airports that have custom runway lighting, such as Longyear ENSB, that the lights are off during the day, even during bad weather. This makes doing approaches and landings unrealistic. There's an old tweak for the prepar3d.cfg file, where you can specify the light duration by adding a couple of entries. Well, if you set them as follows: [GRAPHICS] DAY_THRESHOLD=65535 NIGHT_THRESHOLD=0 ...then this tells the simulator to keep the lights always on. Hi all, I wanted to know if anyone using V4 and V5 on same PC? Any issues ? I'm considering it as a smooth transition but not sure if all will work correctly.

If you were upgrading your monitors 27 to 30 inches to give you the best clarity in a vc what would you use. I have a 1o80ti card. How do I get the best clarity and acuity possible without blurry textures in the vc cockpit. I typically fly Carenado mooneys and pmdg 738 I realize This post may not work .The simple answer here is that there are a thousand variables of course and my eyes are not perfect but just trying to keep this simple can I get some idea what is giving people great result. ( albeit subjective) One thing is for sure I have a 4K asus hd monitor and it did not give me great results. Thoughts. Peter

Hey everyone. Weird issue. Sim has been working perfectly for quite a while now. I’ve been on v4.5 for some time. Last night I completed a flight and when I shut down windows updated my computer. Today, when I go in, there is extreme lag when panning, making the sim totally unplayable. Strangest part, is the problem gets significantly worse if I move to the outside view. Windows update was only change I made overnight. I tried deleting the Cfg, and reinstalling the p3d installer app. Any thoughts on what the cause and fix might be? I can’t even say for certain it was the windows update, but as I mentioned it was the only change. Brad Bud

Just point it in the V4 mask...to your v5...and you will get this: For the lower set, I used Soft Clouds texture set 1 The mid and high level cloud sets were chosen from Rex Texture Direct Enhanced. I am sorry for not taking pictures, but I'll do my best to describe what happened. So, i took off from PANC, heading south to LAX in 747. The UTC time is 1155z, which means it's completely dartk in Anchorage being 0355 local. Now, an hour and a half into the flight, still pitch black outside. I'm checking the globe app on my iPad, it should be sunrise ouside. Then I decided to click on Time and season on the menu, and momentarely, it's daylight. Did anyone experience the same thing? Mk studios DUBLIN Released today, purchased and downloading now. from SimMarket. Performance good two option medium and heavy I loaded the heavy without static aircraft FPS good, blends in well with ORBX Ireland scenery.

I've reinstalled it twice yet this issue keeps popping up. I just came out of LAX with a somewhat constant 60fps when my activesky refreshed and my fps got cut in half. now topping 33 at best after screwing around with custom weather i discovered that having no cloud layers regardless of settings or any other factor will cut my fps in half.
