Preview: P3D5 CTD for unknown reason with AMD RX580 Hi there, I have encountered a new CTD issue and it happens several hours during a long haul in QW787. It happens sometime between 1 AM EST to 8 AM EST. I have attached all logs corresponding to this time slot. The error dialog is saying CTD for an UNKNOWN reason. OS: Windows 10 Home 1909 Prepar3D version 5 with hotfix 1 I5-8600K not overclocked at 3.6GHZ AMD Radeon RX580 8GB not overclocked at 1360MHZ. Hi guys,Does someone (a lot more clever than me) know how to install the reality XP - 750 gauge into Manfred Jahn's brilliant DC-3?As the Sperry is still inop, there is a lovely big retangular space in the VC to put the GTN-750. I can install it into the pop up window, but this kind of kills immersion in VR.I've had a quick look at the panel.cfg, but not being an expert, I can't work out how to edit anything to replace the INOP sperry gauge with a GTN-750.Thanks for any help in advance,Neil,ps. Over the years, I have owned several different weather and texture add ons. Now that I am moving to V5, I want to refresh my brain on what the best options are. Currently ASP3D installed along with ENVSHADE and ENVTEX. Used to use REX products, but I don't think those are available with V5 yet. What are the best weather/texture/shader combos for V5 at this point?

I was a happy user of UT Live for P3d. Are there any simmers using it in V5? If not, do you recommend another traffic program for V5 that doesn't kill the sim on frames? Stan

I have tried adding a lot of scenery for P3DV4 into P3DV5 using the great Lorby Si Addon manager They work for the most part but the default scenery bleeds through. Ini builds have posted a bunch of exclude files that work very well. An example is the Taxi to Gate KMCO. Is it possible for one of our talented developers to make a tool that would construct an exclude BGL for a designated airport? Greg

Has anyone had issues with the Qualitywings BAE146 comms working? I was searching their forums and the question was asked without a response. I am basically unable to use vatsim with this plane due to the comm issue. I am unable to transmit or receive, even though I am tuned to any freq.

Recently, I was gifted with the v5 and installed it in the same drive, along side with my existing v4.5 with the airports, sceneries, orbx etc add-on. Compared to Activesky having the respective v4.5 and v5 shortcuts separately, the approach to the airport and sceneries add-on are not that direct. Some of the Samscene's and Pacsim's airports and sceneries add-on do not have a native v5 installers yet though they are compatible and I tried to install with the v4.5 installers as stated on their websites. Hi, I have bought and installed product stated in title for p3d v4, however for some reason when starting p3d v4 it asked if I wanted to activate it which I did, etc and loaded elevation was off so I quite opened ftx and ran elevation correction, yet after it finished running I wasn't able to neither enable or disable it for eggp. now every time I load p3d v4 I just get default scenery with a duplicate ontop not perfectly right.

Hi Folks, Hmm - been poking around looking for something to offload some of my functions from my HOTAS setup - like autopilot functions - aircraft lighting - and such... I don't want FS specific replicas of cockpit equipment as I fly many different types of aircraft and I may have other uses for it as well... Hi guys. I reckon that one of the most disappointing aspects of P3D comes down to runway lights (they float, look ugly and pop-up right in front of you). I've come across a tool that I think has the potential to solve that: Airfield Lights Toolbox - link http://stuff4fs.com/newpage.asp?JS=True&Folder=AFLT It basically injects customized runway lights, which you can have it as LOD-objects or effects. I’m after something with a realistic flight model, a comprehensive steam driven analogue IFR suite with HSI & RMI and have high performance,something in approach category C or D, so most likely airliner / military category,but would consider something more sedate,to try and keep my brain active during lockdown. Here’s the crucial thing though ... it has to have proper needles. By that I mean ILS deviations should be smooth and imperceptible rather than the unrealistic segmented movements that are standard in P3D and pretty much have been since FS95. When I start a flight IN CS 757 and set callsign, Airline and flight number, For example instead of ICE AIR 528 ATC says Boeing TF-LLX. This has not ever happened in any other aircraft.

Hello, anyone with the milviz 350i, I tried to removed the old one to install the new one since it has multiple updates but after removing the old one during the new installation I keep getting a message saying "previous version still installed" any ideas? I deleted any folder related but same thing, any ideas why? thanks for any help!

I have LORBY-SI scenery manager for P3D v.45 but finding its a pain to install third party scenery use it, then uninstall it so its not so taxing on the simulator. I have used Aerosoft's Simstarter before but found it putting unnecessary settings on my FS. Thanks in advance.

I posted this to their forum but have no reply. I downloaded the proper files for EnvTech for p3d V5 Installed according to directions Envtech for Fs9 Then tried to apply the updates. I get a error saying Envtech must be installed..Well it is installed. I cannot figure out a work around. Any help would be great

Hey guys, I am currently working on a set of AI Traffic skins for the Cathay Pacific Fleet (some previews below) and it got me thinking about maybe putting together a package including the liveries, flight plans and model (or linked to providers if I can't distribute the models directly) I am looking at using real world schedules pulling data from API's for the proceeding week. At this point its just an idea, it would be free (or maybe donation ware for the schedules) I have been out of the community some time and just wanted to see if people still use AI traffic and also if there would be any people out there prepared to help me test. Hi! I am planing on to buy the ezdok camera for p3d. I´m only using aircraft from Simvitation, so i dont have aircrafts like pmdg or aerosoft airbus. So my question is if i have to set up a new camera angels for each aircraft i download. Or if i e.g make one for an a320,or will it be saved automatically for all a320 aircraft then? Is it worth buying ezdok if I download new planes often? Sincerely Axel

Hello, since REX support removed their forums in order to make their support more "personal" all references to the Day/Night cycle bug have been removed. Their discord is no help either as I was told to file a support ticket when I ask if this issue had been resolved. I use ChasePlane, TrackIR, Radar Contact 4, FSUIPC5, REX EF, Saitek Yoke, Throttles, Rudder,... I tried to eliminate each of those elements but I wasn't able to determine the cause. Hey there, I have a problem when I would take a flight in P3D v4, and I talk with my friends on discord.My friends have tell me they not could hear me clean, and I have the same problem when they talk to me, I have tried to do many things about the sound and i have to tried to set my mic to 100% but it's not work!!! I have a hyper x headset... my friends have told me about, there sould be a setup on window 10, where I could do some thing with the sound and my mic volume. But I think it's just on windows 10 pro the option is accessible??? If some one can help me about that problem it's could be nice. Best Regards Jammin16

I am having the following problem with my QualityWings B787-8 aircraft: pressing SHIFT+BACKSPACE moves the eye-point DOWN pressing SHIFT+ENTER also moves the eye-point DOWN The key stroke SHIFT+ENTER should move the eye-point UP These are default key commands which can be checked by entering the key commands section from the <Vehicle> drop-down menu. This I have done and they are there as expected. This means, I think, that somewhere in the QW B787-8 files this default command is being over-written. I have even gone into FSUIPCv6 and entered the correct key command there, but it is still being over-written.

I've just purchased GSX and GSX level 2. Every time I try and put the serial number in, nothing happens. It says I'm still in trial mode (and I'm definitely not after spending nearly £40.00). Can someone help?
