Hello all, Anyone else had this? I tried Track IR a couple of weeks ago with P3D V4.5 and was fine, worked no problems. A couple of weeks later to today I try again, and it doesn't want to know?? I've googled the problem, suggestions are for those who can't get it to work from scratch, install this install that...which I have as it worked before and I still have installed.. I can't install the simconnects as it tells me I already have it as I know I have installed those. Hi everyone, I recently upgraded to V5 and had 4.5 with ASP4D working like a dream, so I thought I'd try the new beta. So far it absolutely refuses to work correctly. The control panel says showers and overcast but the display in game is a clear blue sky with light clouds and no wind. Completely contrary to what the panel says or even the ingame weather report. Some things to note: I have GSX and SODE working as normal and FSUIPC 6 so that suggests to me it isn't a SimConnect problem (i also installed and re-installed them several times, ERP, Xpack1 and 2) Minimal addons that could conflict IE I have ORBX and majestic dash 8 and some addon…

Hi, I asked four firms from whom I bought many sceneries about planned Prepar3d5 support (no date, just only if). They all don't have a support forum, thus I asked via Mail. Here are four interesting results. 1. MFSG (Malaysian Flight Simulator Group), maker of a lot of smaller nice Japanese Airports, replied within a few hours they would make their sceneries compatible. Hello, Does anyone know if P3D v5 supports 10-bits color ? If it does, are there any drawback at selecting 10-bits in the Nvidia CP over 8-bits ? In conjunction, would 444 be chose over 32bits ? Thank you for your help, Greg

Lots of developers are and have already updated their scenery installers for v5. Most of them come with new version numbers and installers indicate both v4 and v5 compatibility. Do these new versions include anything new for v4.5 as well or are only compatibility installers for v5 with no actually updated content? I understand that this is not one size fits all, because obviously some have incorporated scenery changes and others haven't, but what is the majority consensus out there. As far as I have understood, P3D v4.4+ and v5 sceneries should be all the same and I shouldn't even need to download new versions when I move over. Just designate v4 libraries and off you…

A long term issue I found no real answer anywhere... When I fly into mountains with my (now new) FS Global Mesh (or other meshes formerly), I have a constant plopping and "moving" mesh. Even if I fly very near to a montain, it changes its mesh resolution. I have tried LOD, Mesh resolution, textures etc. Nothing changes. Its a bit of immersion killer when you fly towards a mountain and it is always changing its resolution. Have anyone a suggestions what I could try to solve it? many thanks

I have a MS sidewinder forcefeedback 2 and when I calibrate it the z axis screen in V5 just flashes on the bar and doesn't seem to accept my input from the controller. It accepts in the other screen and worked fine in 4.5. Anyone else had something similar?

I find myself in a tough place. In my experience flying v5 I have FPS beyond what I could imagine in v4, nice and smooth in and out of major airports, to the point where it's hard to go back to v4. However, the FPS are only nice and smooth until it seemingly inevitably crashes on me. My record of flying airliners in v5 so far is as follows: PMDG 747 with Active Sky beta 2, SDF-HNL, great flight until CTD nearing the pacific coast, ntdll.dll. Hi, I'm currently flying a long haul and I'm cruising. The problem I'm experiencing is with REX Sky Force and it consists of the cloud and sky textures restoring to default P3D textures while in-flight. I can temporarily fix it by forcing REX to install the textures again, but the problem persists and when I exit the ~40NM of clouds that REX loads into the sim, the textures immediatly go back to the default ones. I'm using max cloud coverage and render distance in the P3D settings. thanks in advance, Daniel

Hi Everyone. So I do not have any flight planner tools installed, (don't really want one unless you guy's tell me different), I just use P3D default, but right now the flight plan does not show up on the aircraft kneeboard in V5, which I use for manually transferring into the fmc, (I'm hoping there will be a fix in the next update). So am I missing something here and being dumb. Could someone please explain to an old f**t how are you getting your flight plans into your PMDG's and Aerosoft's. If you display can do 24hz please set it to 24hz and watch thing video and let me know how it looked. Its 4K so it might take a while to be available in 4K

Hi guys, Does anyone use REX SkyForce and TomatoShade. I use both with RD Presets settings, but recently I’ve noticed that close to the aircraft the clouds are dark grey and further away they are white. Does anyone else experience this at all? Thanks, Andrew

As Justflight updated their Tristar to V5 recently, I finally got it. And there I now sit in the cockpit and cannot get it up and running. Is there anyone out there flying it in depth who can help me with some questions? Of course I know I could go to Justflights support but, after my experience with their excellent Canberra, I think it's not the airplane having problems. I'm trying to follow the tutorial in the manual for an INS equipped model. INS setup is finished but when setting up the autopilot the written tutorial differs heavily from what I see in the cockpit: Thx, Karl

I wonder if anyone would be able to take a look at the attached order of scenery and give me any advice, I have to admit I don't actually have any known problems with scenery other than a few random GSX jetbridges hanging in the air (which I remove manually in their editor), slow FPS on the ORBX EGNM, and slightly sunken wheels at UK2000 EGLL and FlyTampa EHAM. But that said the order looks wrong and random, and some entries are greyed out and I can't move them very easily (I am sure there is a good reason). Also, I cannot find any scenery.cfg anywhere on my PC, not in the main P3D folder, not in the Local appdata, not in the Roaming appdata, and nowhere with a full PC f…

Hey, Ive tried 2x now installing P3Dv5 and each time i've gone back to 4.5. I can run 4.5 with full settings (nearly all sliders to the right including weather) with a smooth 40FPS with any addon at any airport. With V5 i get a crash with the same settings saying I've ran out of VRAM so I have now lost any interest in using V5. Am i doing something wrong or is there sometihng I'm missing? Cheers, Alex

P3Dv4.3, ORBX FTX Global, Vector, Active Sky, FSlabs a320. I am experiencing a stutter at regular intervals (every 2 seconds or so). I have tried pretty much everything to get rid of it... but i still have no luck. The stuttering is mostly noticeable when making sharp turns. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
