i have noticed this issue now in P3Dv5. the airport ambiance and animal sounds are still present in the cockpit after takeoff. i can still heard birds and aircraft taking off. anyone else with this issue?

Hi to all, is it possible to share the same scenery for p3dv3 v4? Suppose I have a scenery with installer for all those two sim version, I want to install for p3d4 but don't wan't to reinstall for p3d3 for saving space on hd. Infact if I run the installer I install the scenery two times on two different sims. I Could add the scenery in p3d3 choosing the path for p3d4 and that method should work, but if the scenery has SODE or other files spreaded in other folder of P3D4 root? I would have a partially working scenery. The Lorby Prepar3D Addon Organizer could do the job? My target is to create a folder out of p3dv3 and p3dv4, suppose F:/P3D-SCENERY only for t…

Hi, I have just loaded SODE into P3D v5, however now at Aerosoft's LHR I see two jetways on top of each other...obviously the original and the SODE ones. I followed the instructions to copy the SODE file under the SimWings LHR file in the add on folder. Can anyone help?

Hi guys! Just want to see some opinions on EA inside v5. So I have been using v5 for weeks now and have not been using EA. Literally have been using ActiveSky and default clouds. I think they look 10000 times better than v4.5 clouds I tried EA for about 5 mins with Active Sky and the clouds seemed quite pixelated even with high resolution. I also noticed the clouds don’t interact with the aircraft the same with EA on (e.g. wings disappearing in dense cloud). I do think EA is going to very impressive when it’s out of beta with ASP3D So what’s everyone’s preference? On or off? Pros and cons of EA?

I have the FSX/P3D version of the subject aircraft flying in P3D v4.5. I'm trying to get a couple of downloaded & installed repaints flyable - they show up ok in Simstarter NG but when I do P3D v4.5 Scenario Setup/ Change Aircraft - they are not showing as being available. I have been through Aircraft.cfg & cross checked the data, syntax etc of the repaints, but tweaks here to match the original textures syntax have not produced the result I am after. (That has done the trick with repaints for other aircraft) Is there any way to troubleshoot in P3D to determine why the repaints aren't showing?? Thanks T45

Hello All - I do hope this question does not appear to be too stupid. I use Prepared version 4.5 and fly mainly the commercial airliners such as PMDG 737 and Aerosoft Airbus. I subscribe to Navigraph and use Simbrief to create my flight plans. I will try to be simple in my question: I know that Simbrief and Aerosoft Airbus have to be using the same and latest AIRAC data so that the navigational fixes are used by both of them. But what should I do about using the flight planner inside of P3D? Does this need to be updated as well - I assume it has to be since many of the fixes used by the aircraft and on simbrief's plan are missing in the P3D …

Hello, Does anyone tried to GSX refuel A320 LSLabs in the new LFLL scenery by Digital Design. It seems not working. Digital design forum is in Russian even if an english part is existing, i can not create an account (never recieved any confirmation email). I do not know very well FSLabs 320 + GSX because i quite new in thos 2 products. I bought them 1 month ago and i am still learning. Is there an GSX option to activate Refuelling in a specific airport ? Thanks for answer. Franck

Hi, I'm using P3Dv4.5HF2 and Windows 10. For some time now, I have had an odd issue where P3D will start in windowed mode with a very small window in the corner of the screen. The window is so small that it is about the size of the X to close the window. I can maximize it and go to full screen, but if I go back to windowed mode, I can only see the title bar. When trying to back to full screen, I have experienced crashes. Another oddity is if I go from full screen to windowed and resize the window, I have to maximize the window before going back to full screen. If I don't do this, the simulator view will remain small with the remaining part of the screen bla…

So last night I was mucking around with my P3Dv5 configuration, which included adding some new scenery, one of them a freeware Wichita airport package from the AVSIM library. Once I had everything happily set up via SimStarter, I fired up P3d, only to find that the throttle axis was playing up. I'd move the throttle lever on my CH Yoke full forward, and the throttle in the sim would go to full and then immediately spring back to idle. Spent about half an hour to no avail, so went to bed. This afternoon spent 3.5 hours doing nothing else but trying to get it working. I tried everything under the sun, including installing FSUIPC (full version) and trying to set up …

Hello fellow simmers. Does anyone have a list of which ORBX airports will work without their respected regions? Or just any general leads of maybe people that know some off the top of their heads? I own KBZN, KIDA, 65S, KTVL, KSTS, KPSP, KMBS, KGPI, and L35. I would like to know if maybe some Alaskan airports are good to go with just the base pack? Or what about KMRY, or KSFF? Even with my i7-8700K and RTX 2070, with all my other stuff running in the background my system falls on its face with a region installed I just can’t run them.

A small patch was released for PlayHorizon VFR Photographic Scenery Volume 8 Scotland South when it was realised that Earth Simulations Isle of Man was "flattening" a small area of the Mull of Galloway. I had assumed that switching to ORBx TrueEarth GB North would resolve that problem, but unfortunately it is still there. Does anyone have a copy of the Mull of Galloway fix? The website that included it has been closed down....

Hi all, I am very close to buying the Reality XP GPS, GTN 750/650 or GNS 530/430. I have some questions, if you don't mind? Any reason to buy the F1 version over these? What's the difference between the GTN 750/650 compared to GNS 530/430 ? I assume that the GTN 750/650 is a newer better version of the GNS 530/430? Is that correct? Do I need to buy both? Any advantage to having both? What's the difference between the GTN 750 or 650? Is the 650 just the smaller version but otherwise the same? Is there anything else you think I should know? I recently upgraded from the PMDG 737 NGX to the NGXu, and yes I call it an upgrade for a number of reasons. But the feedback I would like to get is if or how you are using the electronic flight bag? I have spent a considerable amount of time reading the entire manual and getting to know the EFB as well as the ACARS functions in the FMS. So I am comfortable with HOW to use it, I'm just not sure why I should or if I am gaining anything. The realism and further immersion is nice, but unless I'm missing something the only things that seem somewhat useful for me are calculating a temperature and derate using the assumed temp method and possibly more accurate V speeds than…

I just purchased the LatinVFR KFLL since it was on sale and looks great. I installed P3dv5 on my new PC which has 9th Gen Intel Core i7-9700K & GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER. I did a short flight from KRSW to KFLL in the Aerosoft A320 and of course, about 3 miles from touchdown I got the "Graphics Card has run out of memory." I hope this gets fixed in the next update because this seems crazy. Flying 90 miles in the day time I would not expect a CTD. Crossing my fingers that the Hotfix2 comes out soon. Cheers, Pete

You want to see something exceptional? If you have FB KSFO and AI Traffic (AIG), set AI traffic to zero, go to KSFO, set AI traffic to your normal value and observe ... In my case ai a/c start floating, sinking and dancing around ... never seen anything like this. Looks somehow funny.

I'm sorry for repeating a request for info here, but when I look around I can see that others have this problem. It doesn't matter where I am, I can't zoom in/out on my view. I would just expect it to happen on the mouse wheel - pushing the wheel and rolling it, but it doesn't work. HELP!
