Alright, my fellow pilots, I don't usually like to post something up like this, for the risk of sounding like a "paid endorsement." However, I have probably purchased over 250 airports between X-Plane and P3D, but by far, the best, at the moment, is Fly Tampa's Copenhagen V2. From the surroundings of the airport to the taxiway markings, everything is top-notch. And the icing on the cake? The airport night lighting is, for lack of a better word, stunning! I just thought about sharing, so anyone interested will get to enjoy the experience. We put a lot of hard work into this passion of ours, so it feels great to come across these gems.

Hello - I just purchased a new computer and had installed P3DV5. When I went to install Orbx Central, the default file path came and i changed it to another drive. When I installed global base, it did not install into P3Dv5. I ended up doing a factory reset and it looks like I still can't get that default location to show up again. I want to leave it installed in the default location. Is there something i can do to fix this? Cheers, Pete

I hope this is the kind of place for this question. I noticed there are two packages on the market for the Piper Pacer. One by Alabeo and one by Lionheart Creations. Does anyone have experience with either of these? Is there one folks may say is better than the other? Would appreciate any kind of feedback! Everyone is singing the praises of the latest windows update in saving vram. While this may be justified, it did break my F1 gtn gauge for one. Wonder if there's anything else that is not working properly since the update?

HI,before jumping to P3D V5 i have some questions :1) Is PMDG 737 NGXu working ?2) I would like to keep the P3D V4 as well on the same PC. Is it possibile to have the 737 in V4 and V5 ?3) Is REX sky force working and is it usefull to have it in V5 ?4) Airplanes i have in v4 can be just moved to the simobiects/airplanes folder ?5) Same question as afr as sceneries are concerned in other words move them in the Addon folder ?6) Does Ivao need to be reinstalled ?Thanks a lot in advanceClaudio Damiani

Hey guys, Been trying to fix this issue for some time now and I am lost at this point. The default building at CYTZ still seems to be showing. I went into ORBX and turned off the CVX and bgl file and it still shows. Not sure what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running P3D V4.5. Many thanks. Has anyone noticed or experienced issues with V5 driving up CPU and GPU temps? I’m having a real issue with it currently, to the point where it’s pushing against CPU TJMax and the thermal throttle is kicking in. No other 3D application does this including V4 or other games, they are all running mid 70s, maybe touching into the 80s max Some details - I am running on a laptop so temps will be higher than desktop setups but as I mentioned, usually around mid 70s for cpu under load and circa 60s for GPU. On the ground in V5, temps are around high 70s to mid 80s but once airborne they are hitting into the 90s and up against the throttle. No idea why, I’ve never had this i…

After i´ve read all the very bad threads from the first days i wasn´t sure but now i´am really happy that i upgraded from 4.5 to V5. After some hours of installing P3D V5 and upgrading all the OrbX stuff i have, which took the the whole Friday, i made a whole day of flying in Europe today and V5 is an improvement in Terms of visuals and performace. I had the idea to list the the pros and cons but honestly there is only one fair contra for V5 actually and this is that not all addons are updated yet. Hi,Got a problem. A lot (but not all) of my airports have SODE Jetways installed (and recognised in the airport editor). When i click operate Jetways the menu just closes and nothing happens?I am using P3Dv4.5 and the current airport in question is Valencia X.Getting really frustrated with this now, paid a lot for this software and its full of bugs, and so far my support request has been ignored!Cheers,Alex

After reinstalling FSX X I have been having an issue with the NY area airports, no Terminal buildings, no proper surrounding scenery, no buildings, Manhattan skyline is not present. Deinstalled FSX and installed P3Dv4.5, complete install, installed addons Orbx, Global, OLC NA and Vector. Installed Drzewiecki Design NY Aiports v2 Still no change. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having trouble uninstalling a scenery from P3Dv4.5. It's made for v5, which is a mistake as I only use v4.5. I don't knnow how to get it off my list of extra scenery in the view list. It a gray checkbox. How do I get rid of it so I can install the older version?

Hello, Lately I have found that PAPIs for many sceneries do not coincide with ILS glide slope. It all looks good until about 2nm out where I start seeing three red, indicating that I am too low. Should I continue on ILS path, I touch down directly at TDZ while PAPI might show four red by half mile final. Should I follow PAPI, I would hit the runway too early or crash before it altogether. It's not for all airports, but I think it's for the majority of them. I only use addon airports. P3D v4.5H2. Thanks

I have recently purchased and installed P3D on my new PC. I had previously installed P3D V 4.5 with Hotfix 3. Things went well with V 4.5. I followed the developers' instructions on unistalling V 4.5 when I decided to try V 5. The installation of V 5 seemed to go well. However, upon attempting to use my Saitek Yoke System and Rudder Pedals, the left and right toe brake functions were not working as planned. When I attempted to reassign the axis within P3D to fix the toe brake problem, the process would only assign the X and Y axis to the left and right toe brake functions respectively. I have posted this on the Orbx Central support forum, but I'm not really sure how long it'll take till I get a reply. Meanwhile i'm really grounded, as so much of my world is provided by Orbx scenery. The drive on which I have my P3Dv4 and P3Dv5 installations, including Orbx library, is getting a bit full, so I wanted to move the Library to a separate drive which has plenty of space. All Simconnect distribution have been installed by launching all SimConnet.msi from \redist\ESPv1, FSx-RTM, FSX-RTM-JPN, FSX-SP1, FSX-SP1-RUS, FSX-SP2-XPACK. having an issue where, when after engine start up, it goes to 100% power regardless of input and cannot be reduced. Anyone else having this issue? FYI - if I do not start from cold and dark (engines already running at the start of the sim) I do not have this issue.

What AI traffic limiters are available for P3Dv4.5HF2?

I've had an issue with the keyboard and P3D v5 a few times now. Essentially, suddenly during flight, the keyboard does not work. Even tapping P won't pause. The keyboard itself is still working as I can alt-tab and do other things on the PC, however the sim just doesn't react to it. If I restart P3D v5 all is fine. Any ideas what could cause it?

I received DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUND error and P3D Crashed. Today it looks like is not my day. Will you please give me help to solve this problem.
