in P3D, whenever I spawn a plane into a specific gate, the plane is falling into the tarmac and register a crash. I am unsure if this is related to FTX Vector or just the 3rd party aircraft I am using but it's very annoying as P3D spawn you back in the default plane in a different airport the second it happens.

I have been caught up as much as anyone in my twelve years of simming in the maximum FPS possible on my systems chase. Kind of fun actually to see how much more performance you can squeeze out. Seems I read that a motion picture sets at 25 FPS because that's all the human eye and brain can process. So I have often wondered if anything above that serves any purpose in the sim other then bragging rights. As long as you have relatively smooth performance is there any point to 25-30FPS Plus?

I reinstalled the P3Dv5 cleanly. But the effect of squares in the clouds has not disappeared. Is it just me? I use ActiveSky 7479

Hello. I seem to be unable to interact with 2D-Panels in VR ( P3D v4.5 / Oculus Rift S ). When using the PMDG 747 and opening the FS2Crew Window, I cannot interact with the FS2Crew 2D-Panel. I can display the panel, but there‘s obviously no way to interact with it ( e.g. to click on the SEC Button to open the SEC-Panel ). The FS2Crew 2D-Panel is displayed in the Windshield and I cannot move or resize it from this position. No interaction at all possible... So, to alter settings for FS2Crew ( e.g. the Approach-Setup ), I have to exit VR to setup FS2Crew, which is a bit of a showstopper for me. Any help would be appreciated. Best regards, Toto

Cooler master hyper 212 Watch on the youtube, many people take the spec for this: i7 4th generation, gtx 1080, 16Gb of ram. What i've to do for fix the FPS on my sim? Thank you so much

I have a recently purchased Acer Predator XB281HK running in 4K from a 1080ti When I change an internal camera view or even move within the current view, the brightness increases. If I select an outside camera and then back to interior, it reverts to normal. I established yesterday that this doesn't occur if HDR is unticked. I don't have this issue with my HP LP2475w monitor. Any thoughts? Additional edit: The problem doesn't occur in V5 which I've installed this morning so I'm guessing there might be some setting responsible?

I've just created a flight SBGR to EGLL in SimBrief and I get a huge variation in cruising altitudes meaning I would have to step climb, then descend quite a few times. Is this normal? I understand how the step climb system works but didn't know aircraft also descend before climbing again (please see attached enroute altitudes). https://imgur.com/FnDJesL Many thanks

Anyone else have a issue with th a descent forecast request? i click on it and nothing loads. it works fine for my departure setup in fmc. or do I u have to do it manually ? Thanks mike

I still use Win 7 and v4.5. Are there any Win 7 users that are using v5? If so, how is it working? I am waiting for 5.1 and wondering if it will function well with Win 7.

For those of you flying helicopter there might be a very nice tool to ease your workflow en route. Here you will find an easy to install 64bit Helicopter Autopilot written by LM for P3D v4.2 onwards, all code and credits are by LM.

Hi, I 've looked here on the forum but couldn't find nothing. I have 2 saiteks throttle quadrant and with P3D4.5 the engine 2 throttle lever moves by itself. I have hard time to keep the engine 2 at the same RPM as the engine 1. Any idea? Many thanks.

Hi, I am using the latest version of P3D V5 and have recently been starting my flight by setting the panels to cold and dark. I use ground power first, setup the flight, transfer to the APU and all seem to be working well. Switch on the remaining fuel pumps etc, pushback and then attempt to start engine number 2 by selecting it on the overhead panel, switching to ground and then introducing the fuel. Engine number 2 will not start. The strange thing is that I apply the same procedure to engine No1 and it works just fine. I have tried using ground maintenance to fix any issue but to no avail. What am I not doing? any suggestions appreciated.

Just a Heads-Up.. I just noticed that my CPU load increases substantially when choosing 7cm over 1m in Options/Graphics/World. Visually, cannot really see any difference, but my CPU core loads double.. something to be aware of! I typically use 5 m Mesh / 1m Textures as my standard setting in Orbx land. 4770K @ 4.1 and GTX 1070.

This morning I made a short flight from my home base in Novato California to Emigrant Gap. I hardly recognized it. It wasn't the airport I knew from FSX thought P3Dv4. It was just a stock P3Dv5 airport. I went to Orbx Central to install it on P3Dv5 but it's not there. It's missing from the airport install list. I went to my FX installation and copied the FTX Emigrant Gap airport from the Orbx folder and installed it directly to the P3Dv5 Addon Scenery folder and installed it as an addon scenery to the scenery library. It works perfectly. I wonder how many more missing Orbx airports I'm going to find in v5? And I wonder why Orbx decided to leave it o…

Hi there! I just have one question. I recently haven't bought anything for my sim because I wanted to wait for MSFS 2020 (I will get premium at time of release), but I live in the PNW and really am longing for an e175 for Alaska Horizon. Should I get the e175/e195 pack since they are on sale and then get MSFS or wait and just fly the AS CRJ?? Thank you for all your help!

What do you guys think is the best way to uninstall P3D? I also have numerous addons? Should I try to use Win10 to uninstall addons then delete the remaining? Then uninstall P3D via win10 menu? Ugh a monumental task lol.

I would like to install the Real Air Turbine Duke into P3D v5, anybody done this yet, how can I do this ? I am a registered user of the Turbine Duke v2 and the Lancair Need some expert help please
