Hello all, I am half tempted to try the Wilco/FeelThere E190 v3 jet for P3D v4.5, day time flying if I can. I have looked at a couple of video's, and it does sound a bit basic, would the TSS Sounds E190 set (This one https://secure.simmarket.com/turbine-sound-studios-embraer-190-cf34-hd-soundpack-fsx.phtml) work at all on the E190 even though it is for FSX and for the older version? Any help appreciated! James.

Hello guys, I use TimeZoneFixer in V5 (not really sure whether it works) but how can I controll the time. Actually the sim in MET is too early in nighttime modus. Is there a chance to tweak the time when P3D starts turning into nighttime?

As the title says....I just came in to ENVA with heavy winds (260/40kts till just above the surface with heavy turbulences! I got a METAR message via ATSU right before leveling off with warning for heavy turbulences. Yesterday the same. Weather is great, good visuals and the A320 FSLabs has gotten heavily shaken up! Hello, i would like to ask if anyone would know if there is a possibility to replace non-working vc gauges from v3 aircraft with working gauges like isg gauges. since the wilco 737 classic' gauges dont work, i wanted to replace the blank gauges with isg ones, is there any way to do this? i cant seem to be able to get them to display in the vc

Hi Guys, I have a very strange behavior with EA Enabled. As soon as it starts to rain my Computer crashes (complete shutdown), with EA Disabled no issues? Any idea what this can be? Already tried with GPU and CPU at Stock speeds, same behavior.

HI! I'm looking for some suggestions for airline flying in the USA in P3D v5. I have flown airliners mostly in the UK (where I live) and Europe and VFR in ORBX in the US. I am now looking to branch out into airliner flying in the USA. Based on the following criteria: - flights of about 1/1.5 hours (maybe up to 2 hours max) - more provincial/smaller airports (not really wanting to taxi for 20 minutes!) - airport suitable for Airbus 320/Boeing 737. could anyone suggest some good airport add ons and flight plans (just airport to airport - not looking for detailed flight plans) with rough timings. We have forwarded our findings to P3D developers and we hope that it will be resolved soon with a new P3D update.We should have our ASP3D compatible update posted very quickly after the fix is available.Thank you.

Hey folks, Just getting back into simming with the winter approaching and wanted to see what the latest and greatest suggestions are for live weather engines (REX/Activesky/etc). I'm perfectly ok with just the stock weather engine utilizing an outside software for the real world weather and may prefer that to keep the budget down, so whatever would fit that ticket would be great. I currently own from my past simming Active Sky Next and REX back from 2016, so I'm not sure how much updates I can get away with for free without paying. Hi, Since upgrading my VRAM to GEFORCE RTX 2080 Ti I've not had any CTD issues as I've now got 12GB of VRAM. However last night I started a KIAH to EGLL flight, headed to bed and woke up with the dreaded DXIG_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG CTD issue. It happened somewhere over north USA mid-flight (so not even on approach). I loaded the autosave and within 10 seconds I get the same error. However if I load up the QW 787 (the aircraft I was flying) anywhere else it appears fine. Still loading the autosave gives the same problem. The only difference with my setup before this flight is that I reinstalled the QW 787 as I was having issues with the HUD. Any idea on what coul…

Hi, I've recently bought Orbx Global, and weirdly enough I started regretting my purchase. It only makes textures slightly better outside cities, while urban textures look weird and don't blend with airports. I am really puzzled, because everyone likes and recommends Orbx Global. Default Prepar3D: Orbx Global: Default Prepar3D: Orbx Global: With Orbx Global airports doesn't blend properly with the scenery and baked-in buildings look low-resolution compared to the default textures.

Because I fly VR, I use VA for some things. I had it setup for P3D V4, & DCS. For some reason it's not working with P3D anymore. VA itself is working like it should, & no problem with DCS. The commands just don't get to P3D. Anyone else with a similar problem for P3D ? Thanks,

V4.5 and V5.0 V5.1 I know have to go up to 10.000 + ft to see real blue If I set time to summer it looks better, so I guess that LM has made some changes. Anyone else has seen this ? Thanks, Gerard

Since active sky is not available, I use the P3DV5 own Truesky, but there is no cloud or weather generation or anything. Why? P3D does not have its won weather engine?

Is it possible to lay off undocked panel windows to a remote PC and operate them from there? As an example I have an airplane in V5 that has a complicated fuel system. Besides the virtual cockpit there is a 2D panel for it that one has to pay close attention to during the flight, managing correct CG placement. I want to have this panel displayed constantly in a rather large size and putting it to a remote PC would be ideal. Can this be done? I own FSUIPC and WIDEFS. How would the events triggered on the remote PC reach the Sim? If this is not an option: I don't want to jeopardize the integrity and performance of the sim by connecting a 2nd monitor to t…

Both the Orbx Friday Harbor and Orcas Island airports have elevation problems in P3Dv5. Since Vector has no airport elevation corrections in P3Dv5 is there any way to fix them? I've uninstalled them both and went back to the defalt airports. Noel

Hello all, With the recent MSE sale I have yet again expanded my USA photoscenery coverage, inching further east every time. I particularly like MSE for the Southwest, as the clarity of the imagery is just beautiful. However, I always get into trouble on flights that skirt the US-Mexico border. Does anybody know of any good (Northern) Mexican photosceneries? I know there's one that covers Tijuana, but that's all I could find. Any pointers are appreciated!

Now after the 5.1 release I get an error message about error content detected when I exit P3D. I get a txt file generated with this content [error.0] error=Payload station indexes should be between 1 - 20 Does anyone recognize this ?

Hey guys I have been using envtex and asca for dynamically changing sky textures with the 24h preset. Now if i wanted to give skyforce a try. would I use ASCA but uncheck all the cloud textures and structures but only check the sky box in asca and also envtex to sync with ASCA. And set to full dynamics? Or global Automatic. then in skyforce set a theme and uncheck sky ? thanks mike

What about not using EA? are we able to enable all shadows cast/receive options vegetation particles terrain buildings. all without a performance drop. ide love to have them all enabled as it eliminates the shimmering and jaggies on my 50 inch 4k but Some shadows also look horrible enabled. has it been fixed with 5.1? thanks mike

Some of us user asked ORBX to update their products in that way, that they would be compatible with V5.1 regarding the annoying "Textures which shine through clouds/fog" with the new P3D Version 5.X ORBX became further info from LM and Rob_Ainscough what has to be done and now they reacted on this.
