Can i please get an answer because this already happened twice to me: i am flying and for no reason my yoke has no effect, all of the displays stand still, and the autopilot dosnt respond. The first time this happened above klas at 10 ft. This only happens on flights that last 2 or more hours because the tutorial has no problems. I need an answer please because the is a game breaker.

The Eham tutorial was well written, and taught me a few thnings, that smart-a that I am I actually had missed. I used nDac to get the Innsbruck plates and the precision approaches into that airport make my hands sweat just to look at it. There will be hard lessons in slow speed descent on a steep glideslope with mountains beneath to make you cling to the seat. The charts demand special planes and specially qualified pilots - we have the special plane, but in my case the pilot is doubtful. I hope that the tutorial is soon available.

  3. Started by Knoppie,

Tonight I flew from Amsterdam (EHAM) to Innsbruck (LOWI). Unfortunately I don't have any screens of EHAM, but I do have some exceptionally nice ones of the cruise and descend. The route was a standard vatroute.net one. I just recently mastered the autopilot and in preparation of tutorial no. 2 I decided to take the challenge between the mountains :) First picture is near waypoint misgo just outside of Holland near cruise altitude. The sun was already setting. Next one was somewhere south of Frankfurt. A glorious dark orange sunset (and now my new wallpaper :) ). Because I was checking out the weather at LOWI via the REX weather engine I totally forgot to set the altitude …

First let me say, I love this bird. Very nice to fly and touch wood, very few performance issues, apparent from stuttering reported by others and occasional freeze. However one problem I've noticed is that this plane really hates to stop flying. I usually encounter a lock-up after arriving at the terminal. After tonight's flight into KDCA (the HUGS is great for flying the river approach) and parking at the gate, the entire terminal scenery disappeared. I got a notice that I had to enter my activation code for the aircraft, then I got a notice I had run out of memory, then poof, CTD. Maybe all it wants to do is fly all the time. Anyhow, just passing along the experience.

Good evening guys, I think the PMDG is a long awaited milestone in the flight sim community. I think what we are seeing here is a new era in flight simulation. Congrats again PMDG. While i congratulate i must make some constructive criticism. As a real worl pilot i think the depth perception from the 737 cockpit is too low. I feel like im scraping along the tarmac at 2 ' and not 15' up. Taxiing is hard to control, maybe it's my satiek trottle, dont know, but i barely move the trottle up to 24 N1 and the a/c takes off like a nascar> ZFW was 132k lbs. way too much power, this shouldnt be. During the takeoff, the auto trottle moves way to quick and the take off run is…

Ok so I just completed my first full flight 'in anger' from EGPH to LEPA on Vatsim. This aircraft is just amazing! I can honestly say i cant see the point in flying anything else until the PMDG Boeing 777 comes out. Its that good. The only thing you will miss is the longer range flights but Id rather do those in several high quality hops than one low fidelity flight. Vatsim controllers etc are going to get very fed up marshalling B737's :DI let the autopilot do the full cat III autoland into RWY 27L at LEPA and it was absolutely flawless. In fact its too good! Rate of descent on touchdown was -23fpm which means I got a penalty from my VA as they want (in common with most…

when you land and want the autobrakes to disengage push F4 followed by F1 straight after (instantaneous). That F4 gives full throttle which lowers the spoilers which in turn disarm the brakes like in real life. Makes the transition to manual braking mmuch smoother

  10. Hi, would anyone know if there are autoland setting anywhere that would cause my autopilot to disengage at 100ft? It does this every time right at the 100ft call out. Any hints appreciated...

  11. Hi Ryan and the guys, long time simmer, first time poster. I'm also a 737 pilot in my day job and wanted to say firstly thank you very much for a wonderful product. Despite some issues getting the ngx to run smoothly (or at all) I seem to be almost there now. I just wanted to bring to your attention some issues I have noticed that might be added to your first service pack. I have searched the forums extensively and can't find anyone else raising these particular issues. 1) Some systems will not function until the IRS' are aligned. Eg. the autobrake cannot be selected to RTO, it just stays in self-test mode with the amber autobrake disarm light iluminated. Also the FMC wil…

  12. Noticed this and was wondering if its a bug or designed like this. Engines off with both EMDPs off and just using the pressure in the accumulator once the pressure gets to 1000psi (or is that 100psi?) the brake fails and shows as a Fail in the maintaince page under active. Even if I turn on the HYD pumps is is still classed as failed. Is it me or a bug? Should I right a support ticket? I mean its a minor thing but it might catch someone out.

My friend has a problem which I cannot seem to replicate. His captains PFD's altitude tape goes alot slower than the FO's PFD altitude tape? And the Captain's altitude tape displays the wrong altitude altogether.Whats the reason for this? Thanks!

  18. Dear PMDG, from what I am taking by superficially following the posts published in the NGX-section of this forum there is a good chance that you guys are rather busy working on an update for the NGX. Something that might be only a little feature but may prove rather useful for IVAO users would be including an automatic command for the IVAO client to activate the transponder when the NG-Transponder is activated. This will certainly increase imersion since it won't be necessary to change application to do so. In case I am missing a feature that is already included (as it is on the MD-11) or how it can be manually set up I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have on the t…

  20. Hey Support. I have a problem that when using the NGX at a specific airport and other factors the FSX hangs. in the Forum that I am member of (VATIL), it appears that I am not alone with this and every one that tries it gets the same thing, FSX hangs. here are the details that makes this happens 1.Using the AIRAC1108 (part of NGX) 2.parked at LLBG - at whatever gate (FSAddon Scenery for LLBG) - could be maybe also with the default scenery, I haven't tried it with the default. 3.picking a RW in the FMC (still not a problem, no issues). 4. once I pick "PURLA1FS" SID and right after picking "SUVAS" Transition, the RW disappears from the FMC and I get an error in the FMC "RU…

Howdy Guys -------It appears, unless I have set something up incorrectly, that the FIX screen on the CDU has a radial number render issue. Looks like it works fine except when it needs to provide a radial value from 350 to 359 degrees, in which case I get a minus sign and a small number. All other radial values appear to be OK. I searched for an earlier report on this but could not find one. This should be an easy fix. I will submit a ticket on it. Cheers -- Happy Flying --- Bob

  22. Made three complete flights now, and in none of them did the gear horn silencer button work. And for the passenger loading, when using the presaved panel states, I get a completely different number coming up than the number I wrote into the scratch pad and inserted. i.e. 120 I get 127 pax. And question, are all the engine thrust ratings simulated properly? I can't find anyplace where I can select different engine ratings except the temporary derate/bump. Big thank you for the NGX, well worth the money, runs great and smooth. Looking happily forward to the -600. :)

Hello! I have a problem, that occurs about 90% of the time. When I've parked at the gate and I move the fuel cut-off levers to cut-off, the engines keep running. And it's not the famous sound glitch, the engines really keep on running as per N1 indications and so on. The engine start switches are set to off.Strangely enough, if I bring up FSUIPC from the menu after moving the fuel cutoff levers to cut-off, and then close it, the engines finally starts to die. And after turning on the engines, nothing happens when I move the throttles, even though I watch the throttles move in the VC.Again, this seems to be fixed by bringing up FSUIPC. Another strange occurance would be the…

When you slew from the runway, as in back and up so your on the approach and just do the landing, this sends the brake temperature to 10 and therefore cannot land! Thanks. Great job on the plane PMDG!
