can some of you gurus let me know how i can overclock my i7-2600 which at present runs on 3.40 mhz,need help in knowing if there is any software that i can use, as i am scared to fiddle around with bios settingshave a gigabyte motherboard, win-7 64 bit, 8 gb ram and gtx 590thksvivek

I'd like to ask what is the situation with the SDK? I think maybe I've missed something. Is it out yet or is there any news on when it can be expected to be out? NGX is superb and I can't wait to connect my opencockpits' hardware into it :)jussi f

I just bough EzDok for use with the NGX and while it's nice, I've run into a problem. Mainly, I can't seem to pan up and down in spot view with either my yoke's hat switch or the mouse. But the NGX seems to be the only aircraft affected by this as I I can get it to work with the default Cessna. Anyone have some suggestions?

I have done about 10 flights so far with the NGX and after installing the HotFix I still get the freezes every 20 min or so and it just freezes for about 2 seconds and resumes but never crashes so it does not bother me any. However I have the SAITEK X52 Pro and the Saitek Rudder Pedals. What I always do is on the ground I open Controls in FSX and Align my Controllers before takeoff. Then before I am going to land at an airport I do it again. The reason being sometimes the controllers can get out of alignment and then you turn off the auto pilot and your plane does a barrel roll or something. So this is why I align my controllers like that. I dont have any problems doing t…

Having loaded FSX because I sometimes have a few admin things to do etc and the time it takes to load - the time is often then out a bit from real time. I saw that I can set time in the FMC and also set time on the clock to real time with settings for man and UTC. My UTC clock is set at UTC time of 1602 now (showing local time of 1800) my FMC time is showing 1702z! If on the POS INIT page I set the time to 1602 it shows 1502z when I enter it....if I enter it a second time then it shows 1702, and a third it switches back to 1502 etc etc never 1602? EDIT - I tried Delete and lineselect the time and that reset it to Z time of 1602 but why it doing that?

Hello folks, as the magenta line started to behave a little weird when I played around once again, I was wondering if the FMS "thinks" it simply can't fly that SID. Understand it's maybe a special case as it requires tight turns at a maximum of 165 knots, and those "critial" waypoints are OVFY waypoints as well. If the NG could fly it though, what would be a correct procedure? I wouldn't be flying the whole departure with flaps out just to be able to fly that slow, would I? Not that it couldn't fly as slow as 165, we do that all the time right after takeoff. But still, I'm a little curious. Hi Guys, I seem to be having a problem with VoxATC NOT displaying its panel in the NGX. I have run the Indexer and panel utility in VoxATC,but when running the panel utility, I select all, that checks the "737 NGX" check box, and then click install, and a small box appears saying"Initalizing - Please Wait", and the green progress bar shoots to the the right, as if to say it is done, but this window just sits there saying"Initalizing - Please Wait". I have left it for 10 mins or more, but still nothing happens, it seems the panel utiliy crashes when it tries to installits panel in NGX. Have not any problems with all default A/C, and it will install in "iFly-737" without tr…

Hi folks,is there any option to get the NGX working together with Active Sky Evolutions Direct Wind Control? With that option enabled, the autopilot flies like it's drunken, often with an bank angle alert.I like the DWC, the frames are not stocking, the sky is not flickering and the clouds won't pop up, but the NGX is not flyable. I've tested the old standard mode today and got no problems with the autopilot, but the old problems of ASE.cheers,reinergu

Just a quick note. I have had some of the same problems with brakes not working---- steering problems on the ground,Etc. Most of the quirks were cured by simply recalibrating my CH yoke and rudder pedals. Hope this helps as flying the 737NGX is a real pleasure. Skipper65

I have had an FMC freeze whilst in a hold at POL VOR near manchester. Once I hit exit hold then nothing happened in the FMC. Also the magenta line for heading select no longer appears on the ND. The simulation is still running but when I hit the menu button on CDU, there is no option for FMC. It has totally disappeared! Any ideas? Thanks Edit: actually the whole ND has frozen and will not update. Edit 2: I have installed the hotfix earlier today.

I'm having absolutely no issues, but captain Randazzo recommended to install the hotfixes even without no issues, to make sure you have the latest version of the Ngx. My question is, if I just wait for the service pack, will it include the same updates the hotfix includes, because I would rather just wait for the final version of the hotfix (if its going to be included in the sp) instead of installing it now (and risking my stable configuration).

Hello there PMDG,I am having difficulty with climbing. It gets to around 9000 feet and begins to aquire a nose down pitch, in which 0 degrees is a 500fpm climb. This only happens after a pre-flight is completed, and does not happen if the aircraft is re-loaded or switched to in-flight.When I re-installed FSX I had FsInn/FsCopilot completely un-installed, and I was running Squawkbox as my VATSIM client. The aircraft was flying fine, and then I tried FsInn/FsCopilot again. Sure enough, it began the nose down climb. I disabled the FsCopilot dll and discontinued the use of FsInn, but was unable to maintain appropriate flight dynamics again. I have again re-installed FSX and w…

Hello fellow simmers, I have been trying to make the NGX work for the past two days by applying all the different suggestions to this problem in PMDG manual as well as the other forums. However, No matter what I have a fatal error once the airplane is chosen and the report shows the NGX.dll file as the responsible. I was wondering if this could ever be related with the language of the Win7 system. Computer runs Win7 64 bit with Turkish setup. The classical directories obviously listed with their Turkish names and therefore if this all file is looking for the traditional USERS directory it can not find it in the system. I'm guessing the manuals that ship with the NGX are exact copies of the Boeing FCOM and FCTM? The only thing changed is the PMDG logo added to them? If so that is a pretty amazing addition.

I am having a problem hearing the engine sounds in the cockpit when looking forward in both the VC and 2d panel modes. Even at full power I cannot hear the buzz sounds from the engines, no engine spool up sounds or anything when looking forward at the panels. In VC mode if I rotate the view 90 or so degrees that is the only way to hear any of the engine sounds. I set up the sound options as recommended in the introduction, and also tried pressing Q twice in succession when changing views, but all I hear is the wind noise from outside and the airflow from inside the cockpit.
