The Problem FSX launches normally and any of the default aircraft can be chosen. However when I choose any one of the new 737’s, FSX crashes with the message that “Windows has stopped working” How I tried to solve the problem I faithfully followed the PMDG instructions for uninstalling and installing again. PMDG, you are simply flippin amazing... My sim has NEVER ran this well before. Getting 30 FPS stable using the FPS limiter and Bojote's tweaks thingy... The guy with the site where he mods your config. This plane is absolutely stunning! I am having NO problems what so ever and I am VERY happy I spent my hard earned 70 dollars on this plane. Hi everybody, Just a quick question, in my plane, I've a stick shaker with no stick pusher. However, I thought that there was one on the NG, could someone confirm this please? Just for the fun of it, I tried to stall the plane (in the sim of course) and had the shaker but no push at all, is it simulated in the NGX? Regards, Romain

Hi Guys, I was only able to find this mentioned as an aside in one other thread, so if it's been formally reported, my apologies. I've altered the default acceleration and thrust reduction heights in the Equipment Options portion of setup, which are confirmed to be saved in the tail-specific .INI files, but they continue to be pulled up as the original default ICAO/1500FT values. Also, the transition altitude, while set to 18,000, always shows up as 17,000 on the PERF INIT page. I know I keep saying it, but you guys really have crafted a wonderful aircraft - a stunning piece of art! The best 74nm miles I've yet travelled in FS. Wish I'd tacken more shorts. Hi all, I must say im more than happy with this new bird, she flies like a dream and the system functions are fab ;o) Making delivery flight from KBFI to Glasgow UK, couldn't make it direct due to winds so made a quick stop in BIKF to top up the wings. During the climb out from BIKF the Master Warning alerted me of a problem which turns out to be both Electric Hydraulic pumps overheating resulting in low pressure ... what would cause this and would this result in a divert for fix ?

Hi, I have noticed that the co-pilot does not call "rotate" at Vr.So I checked the FMC and the option I found was V1 call out (which is set to on) Is Vr no longer called out anymore ?I did notice that Vr and V1 are often very close together making calling both of them difficult Or is it boeing CRM policy that does not call for Vr anymore...hhmm..or am I missing something here ?

Hi, can anyone point me to the right chapter in the manuals for alternative arrival programming on the cdu? Im struggle slightly.On the Dep/Arr page, Im upselecting a icao code to 6R, which immediately shows me the runways/stars for the airport.But I then cant select anything. Alittle stumped now.

For kicks I set up at KSFO taking off on 10L with the weather set at 100 feet overcast and 1/4 mile visibility. I set up the FMC and radios for the ILS 29 at KOAK. It is a CATIII approved approach and I wanted to try out the HGS hand flown to CAT III minimums. Piece of cake! Once you're established on the approach AP off and keep the little circle in the big circle. I rolled to the end and reset the weather to CAT IIIa minimums of 0 feet ceiling and 700 RVR or 1/8th mile visibility. I set the FMC and radios up for the ILS 28R at KSFO and blasted off. Same drill. The approach and landing were awsome and right on the money using the HGS. The hardest part was taxiing…

I'm trying to avoid going into the display interface to avoid resetting all the tweaks I've made to the config file. I think I left my water on x2 and I'd like to lower it to x1, but the value in the cfg file is a number (5). Can anyone tell me what it should be for x1?

Guys i love this aircraft, its made me want to fly propley again. My only problem is that the aircon/cooling (dont know which) sorta kills all other sounds out, id like to hear the engines a little better on aproach, also when cruising it just sounds very windy in the cockpit, i know this is aircon, and i love the way it dies down when the engines reduce power. but is there anyway to low the sound of the aircon abit. many thanks a once again happy fsx simmer. Oh i love the strobe effects on the ground why this wasnt done before!! Danny.-

I was flying a route from PHNL to PANC that required lat/long waypoints be entered in the fmc this morning and noticed that with LNAV engaged upon passing the custom waypoints, my -800 would turn about 45 degrees to the left of the magenta line and would continue heading in that direction. I disabled LNAV and used heading mode to steer back on to course but the aircraft would make the same 45 degree turn as soon as I turned LNAV back on again. The only way to stop this turning and allow LNAV to track the proper course is to activate direct to for each of the custom waypoints. Any ideas?

Hey there. Just landed, and I wonder why I could see smoke coming out of the main gear after the landing, like the brakes had overheated, even though the brake temp never went above 1.9, it was a pretty standard Autobrake 3 landing. On the other day I could see this smoke even with gear up in cruise. Thanks

I paid 70$ for this aircraft and wait 3 years, I bought it, but.... When I fly over the ocean, the displays freeze, and that, when my FSX can run because every 1h, the NGX make crash my Flight Sim. More!!! Presently, I can't open my NGX because every time I try to load it, FSX crash. Seriously, I love the aircraft, but I paid 70$, and I cant fly the plane more than one hour... I hope i'll have answer soon,Julien

I'm searching and searching to "resolve the freezes or better said how to avoid them till PMDG fixes them... Just a question:If you encountered a freeze:Have you touched the 737 BEFORE the initial 20 seconds countdown was over??? Since I leave her untouched (not changing view, not open a panel,nothing, nada!) I haven't got any freeze... Bad coincidence or could you confirm this? Some answers would be nice ...thanks

I am lost in something.... I tried to login to the support page on your website. I can login to my account and see my purchases and all my previous procedures, trying to login to support, my user name (email?) and password do not work... I did ask for and received a password from your retrieval service.. but when trying to retrieve my login info using FORGOT LOGIN, I provide the email I used to login to my account and it does not know me. Hi- After loading several different liveries of both the -800 and -900 and configuring each aircraft's equitment to how i like it, i notice that when i reload the aircraft, the configuration settings do not get saved. I read in the intro manual that the defenition file should save all of this information such as HUGS equiped, eyebrow windows, etc. along with sim specific such as "show actual throttle in blue" are not saved upon reloading the aircraft. IS this done automatically or do i need to save somehow so the settings for each livery are always there when I start a new flight. I also was not 100% clear from the manual on exactly how the defintion file and such works.…
